Mike C. and Kenny C. came at the end of last week to install a new heating system. They arrived right on time and took exactly the amount of time they said it would take. They explained everything to me in clear and understandable terms. Mike C. also installed a new digital thermometer in the dining room and programmed it perfectly. Following their departure, I synced the the thermometer with my phone and with Alexa so I now have peace of mind when leaving the house that I can control the heating and cooling system from afar, if necessary. Mike C. and Kenny C. were terrific to work with. I recommend Vernon Heating & Cooling without reservation.

Mike Prater came today to do a preventive maintenance and safety inspection our air condition system. In performing his inspection, which was very thorough, Mike found a crack in our heat exchanger. Although difficult to see, Mike pointed out the crack and explained that he would have to red tag the furnace and turn off the gas, which he did. He explained that we needed to replace our furnace. He also recommended that we replace our aging air conditioning unit, which while operating, had many problems.

Mr. Prater was very thorough, knowledgeable, and personable. He explained what red tagging the furnace meant. He was very easy to talk and answered all our questions. He said that Vernon would welcome our business and gave us some suggestion on the heating and air condition unit that would meet our needs. He explained Vernon's 10 point warrant, workmanship, and low price , guarantee. It was easy to see that Mike was highly skilled and professional. Importantly, Mike portrayed himself in a manner that conveyed honesty and trust.

Service Technician Eddye Hernandez did a great job. He was very thorough and technically knowledgeable. He was also very polite and responsive to questions.

So far my experience has been great. On a very cold day, we had no heat! When I called, the person who took my call was courteous and helpful. She clearly explained when I should expect assistance and the cost of the service call. I received a follow up call to say when Mike would be arriving..(within 1.5 hours of my call which I thought was great since it was already after 5pm!). Mike Prater came and inspected my system and very kindly told me that it was replace an expensive part or replace the furnace for not much more. He took the time to show me the cracks in the system, explained the costs, guarantees and made what could be a very unpleasant inexperience not feel as bad. I'm happy to be getting a new furnace first thing in the morning! I could not be happier with my initial experience with this team and I don't expect anything less tomorrow. I highly recommend this company.

I had Vernon out to look at our A/C unit that wasn't working properly and they quickly diagnosed the problem and offered solutions. I scheduled an appointment for the following morning to have the new unit installed. The technicians Mike C and Will were very prompt, professional, courteous, and neat. They installed the new unit, explained what they had found and done, and answered any questions that I had. They also cleaned up after themselves as if they had never been there. I was very pleased with my experience with Vernon and will be using their services in the future, should i have any further heating or A/C issues.

Schedule HVAC service on my heat pump. Senior Specialist John Beardsley performed the work. He pointed out a few issues and made some recommendations. He seemed very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I had him install a UV air scrubber and signed up for a service contract (my property management company had let my previous contract expire). Very pleased with service. I have had Vernon service my system since 1998 and always have had great service. The also installed my current system.

Mike Prater came to the house today to look @ problem with thermostat. It turns out that batteries just needed to be replaced. Mike was professional, courteous, and answered a couple of questions I had regarding cleaning out waste ac drain line.

What a great company! This fall visit is the second time for servicing by Vernon of our heating and air conditioning system since purchasing our home. Both visits were prompt, efficient and courtesy. John B. and the other technicians are first rate and experts in their field. Signing up as a Vernon member was the best move we made after moving in! See you in the spring!

Just had a service from Vernon done by Mike Prater. He was very helpful and efficient. Did a very good job servicing our two units. Good thing I have filters available so he even changed all of them!!

After looking around at other providers, decided to give Vernon a try based on google reviews and must say that it was good decision. George was our technician and he was very thorough and clear in his explanation. Was glad that he took pictures too - never seen it with other companies before. He was not rushed and answered all the answers.

Kenny Chrismon was excellent and very professional. He installed my ac and furnace recently. Very polite. He showed me every about the systems at the end. As it turns out he had installed a new hot water heater a few years ago. That too was done professionally. Both times the cleanup was superb! Pleasant guy

Craig is the best technician out there! Kept our 13 year old units alive. so knowledgable and if it can be fixed he figures it out. Mike installed our new unit, Promptly showed up at 8:30 a.m. as promised and stayed until the entire job was finished. Drop clothes were put down to keep our home clean which worked well on a rainy day. the crew was out in the rain for hours on end and kept at it. we are grateful for the good customer service and quality workmanship consistent with Vernon. always on time, pleasant to deal with and quick! Great service from beginning to end. I called Vernon in the morning and they squeezed me into their schedule later that afternoon. I've been a Vernon customer for several years and have always had great support and response time from the initial call to when the technician finishes the job. Regarding the technician, George, he is the best. I recommend George with absolutely no reservations. He's honest and you can tell he's a man of integrity, which goes a long way in my book. He is very knowledgeable, thorough, detailed oriented, and is a great communicator. He always walks me through what he is doing and then subsequently walks me through what the heating/AC equipment is telling him based on his overall observations of the age (wear & tear) of the systems. He'll provide recommendations on what I should do for future planning with the systems but ultimately he leaves the decision in my court. He never pressures me into making a decision on the spot. He always tells me to give it some thought. Again, if you want someone who is honest, thorough, and an expert HVAC technician, George is the person for you.

Vernons has good and quick service response. The techs are friendly and work to keep a clean environment. There is at times some inconsistency in the service abilities of the techs, but Vernon's works to correct the issue.

Tony K from Vernon is a true profession. He has performed our yearly service and most recently a late night call when our heat was out. He diagnosed the problem and tested the fix thoroughly before departing.

Yesterday 9 am John came out to see why my AC was not working correctly. He checked everything and after discussing my options I decided to get a new Heat Pump/Air Conditioner, At 10:00 Kenny C and Tim K, were at my home ready to install the new the new units, They worked the entire day and were very courteous and helpful (as was John) I think the transaction was s a little pricey and the front panel of the heating unit was missing. I paid for Train Units but as Kenny & Tim were working I was called and told that the Train was not available but the Carrier Units they were installing were the same as the Train. This being said I would still recommend Vernon and will certainly call them again. All of the men were professional and knowledgeable. Special Kudos to Kenny and Tim. They were terrific.

My A/C system failed on Saturday, July 19th. Vernon sent a technican to inspect the system on Sunday. The system was diagnosed as a failure of the cooling coil to retain the refrigerant. I was advisded that the coil had to be replaced and the outside compressor unit. We negotiated on price and I signed the contract for an installation on the next morning. Monday, July 21st, 2014. The estimated arrvival of the technicans was between 9:00-9:30 and the word was estimated to take 6 hrs. The two technicians arrived at 9:20. They were well organized, used shoe covers and tarps on the finished basement carpeting. They were courteous, competent and efficient. They completed all work and clean up inside and out in just under 4 hours.

Mike Prater provided excellent service in providing our semi annual preventive maintenance. His explanation regarding a particular problem was very helpful in assisting me with what decision to make regarding the issue. I have found this to be the case in general with Vernon techs and Mike did his part to uphold Vernon's reputation for excellent service.

On November 18 2015, Mr. Mario Escobar arrived at my home to install a new Infinity Touch Control. Mario was the lead technician who had installed my new AC Heat Pump in 2013, at that time also installing an older push-button Infinity Control. Once again, Mario was most professional, courteous and provided superior technical work and attention to detail. The new Touch Control looks great, is very easy to operate, and definitely improves over the older version. I am very pleased with my new Touch Screen Control. My overall experience with Vernon has been outstanding in every regard. Thank you Mario for your most professional assistance.

Very pleased with the service by Vernon. They were responsive and helpful when our air conditioner broke just as we are going into a heat wave. Mike Carofano and Kenny C. did the installation. They were professional, respectful of our home and property, informative, trustworthy and competent. We would definitely recommend Vernon and their staff.

I called Vernon on Tuesday morning to get an appointment for a technician to come give me an estimate on a new AC system. I was able to get someone scheduled that same day.

When Mike arrived, he introduced himself and reviewed the situation. He completely checked out the current system and made a recommendation for a new system. Mike explained everything about the new system, what it would do, its capabilities, warranties and price. Mike was pleasant, courteous and knowledgeable.

George was very friendly and gave several tips for maintaining our furnace. He was on time and efficient. I've always been happy with the techs from Vernon and George is especially lively.

Michael Prater from Vernon Heating arrived near the start of the appointment window today to fix up my oil furnace. He had been here last month for routine maintenance and spotted a problem: the settings were wrong, causing the oil to burn incompletely, causing smoke that turned into a lot of soot. He said my flue was probably coated with soot, causing a fire hazard, and recommended I have a chimney sweep clean the furnace chimney before he proceeded with his furnace cleanup, which I did. There was a LOT of soot! Today, he labored diligently for 3 hours giving my furnace a deep cleaning, adjusting everything, and installing clean filters. The result is dramatic! Not only does the furnace look brand new, but it is clearly breathing much more air and burning cleanly! I believe Michael s professionalism may very well have saved me from a tragedy! I will be sticking with Vernon and asking for Mike

Jeremy was recently out to vacuum my air ducts. He arrived on time, explained the process thoroughly and was very professional and courteous. He took meticulous care to keep my home clean and always used shoe coverings when inside. Everything went as he explained, and I am happy with the result.
