I was blown away by the overall experience. From the knowledge of our private guides (who took us ice fishing, to the archery range, taught us to shot shotguns, rifles, found the wild horses and more!) to the absolute pleasure that was every meal there, we were impressed. It's not just the Italian marble in the library that surprises, or the multiple pianos available to tinker on; it's the care with which they've thought through the entire 3 day experience to provide a 5 star relaxing and reinvigorating outdoor getaway.
Enjoy sightseeing and photography of the wild bison, horses, birds and elk that fill the property, or try your hand at shooting clay pigeons with a shotgun. Take a horseback ride from one of the US's most tenured cowboys, or pull up a chair around the fire at night to hear the stories of the true Wild West.
Developments are being made to the property currently, including a new spa and larger guest villa (your entire family could fit here - it's 8 rooms I believe!), so I anticipate Vemejo becoming very popular soon. I suggest you book now or you may forever miss out on an amazing opportunity to experience one of America's largest ranches, learn about nature, and come away having had a spectacular time. (Did I mention the food?!)

There is no doubt that this is a beautiful resort and I have gone there for many many years. Unfortunately, I went to book again this year and the rates have doubled over the past two years. The lodge a Chama is a much better option for me .I will miss you Vermejo :-(
