The price tag was astronomical however the museum then delivered in spades! What an amazing museum. So much to see and do both for kids and for children. We went on a rainy day and it kept three small kids and four grumpy tired adults quite entertained.

Huge museum, lots of locomotives of all generations, hall on aviation and the conquest of very nice space (there are everywhere!), Hall on the correct automobile (personally I would have liked to see more models) , a little disappointing hall on the boats (a succession of models). Lots of interactive spaces for children (driving trains via simulators, toys, scooters available, possibility of taking a tour of the park in a mini train, etc.). Rather positive opinion!

Fantastic you spend all day. Better days because in the central courtyard there are many activities. If you get in first started from the bottom so for a while you will not meet a lot of people. It is always open

Very nice and fun concept, a beautiful museum full of history, we really see the evolution of transport ... I recommend it ...

However, I am removing a star, because paying full price when quite a few "attractions" or things to visit are not accessible, I find that limit ...

Very interesting view of traffic in Switzerland. An absolute must for all railway, airplane, car and shipping enthusiasts.
One day is certainly not enough. Even a submarine can be seen here.
The highlight for me is the shelf with the cars that have influenced traffic in Switzerland. Seen in the Amazon series Grandtour and now on site.

Amazing museum, so much to do and see especially for children. There are many interactive displays that you can spend hours playing and experimenting with. There is so much to see and do it will take you for sure a full day, possibly endlessly more. The museum is completely multilingual, staff is very friendly and helpful - ask them anything you want! They are all really engaged and what to help and teach!!! The airplane simulator is very exciting - go there early in the day so you don't have to queue. To top it off, take the board to and from Luzern train station. Have fun.

Very interesting museum on all different kinds of transport. Adults and children alike will not be disappointed! From miniature railways to boatyards, there are plenty of things to keep children entertained. The restaurant serves good food at decent prices for the area, and the experience as a whole is brilliant. Would definitely come back again. If you're staying nearby (or further away due to its fantastic connections by public transport) it is a must see.

If you are interested in vehicles and planes it is really great. Also for children a lot of fun. I liked the Erni exhibition the best. What a pity is that the planetarium and movie theater cost extra. The food in the "restaurant" was also good & especially cheap. We paid 23 francs for 2 meals.

Fairly expensive museum for what it is. It closes at 6 p.m. so early especially in rainy weather.
16CHF for the planetarium just to watch a 10/15 min video and nothing else.
I do not recommend it

It is an adventure for big and small. I really enjoy going with my grandchildren. Have there but 1 something I would like to tell traffic house. The Gotthard boring wheel outside is dangerous. The kids like to climb in and out from below. Would be good to make the openings before something bad happens.

It's a brilliant museum with so much fun and play for kids. There are so many things to do and to play both indoor and outdoor. Trampoline, little SBB train ride, ship ride, virtual aircraft controlling, long slide... The museum is big enough to entertain all kids and adults with different sorts of games and exhibitions. Kids can spend the whole day there and never get bored.

There's a big restaurant in the museum. It serves different kind of food and definitely calm your hungry kids down.

The museum is also very easy to be accessed by public transport(train+bus). Not far from the museum, you will see a piece of grassland with wonderful lake view, it's a perfect place for picnic before or after the museum tour.

At the box office they said that the online ticketts did not come from you.

Sorry dear management, work something and accept such criticisms.
Deswiteren it can not be that you have to pay 2, - for a round by train. With an admission of more than CHF 50.00

The museum is interestingly designed and in good condition - staff are very friendly! However, many objects and simulators in all buildings were blocked due to corona. It would have been appropriate to list the closed exhibits completely (!) On the website - then it would have been less disappointing to keep standing in front of locking tapes. Compulsory masks in the entire museum would have helped me to feel more secure - luckily there was only a very small number of visitors today - otherwise it would have been difficult to maintain the distances! Does the limited scope of the exhibition still justify the full day ticket price?
