This arena was built with a ton of amenities. I can only hope this city can provide a long term growth path to keep this place open and profitable. I've seen several concerts, but yet to see a hockey game, which I've heard is a real treat.

It's a nice enough building but there is not parking and it's about to get much worse since they are cramming the hotel and school down there. Not to mention they really don't know how to run the place.

Big disappointment for the money spent it was my first time here and we came with friends and it was their first time, my friend had a knife that was confiscated and he was told it would not be returned when he asked if he could go put it in a vehicle he was told once he left it was up to the ticket person whether he would be let back in and that he may have to buy another ticket, also once in it seems security paranoia borders on the bad side of insanity as if you happen to lose or throw away your ticket you will not be allowed on the arena floor again I understand the need for security but this borders on the bad side of insanity, this is my first and last visit to the vented ford center that has replaced Robert's stadium

Love the place. Small but gets the job done. Could use better food options...but you really can't tell expect much from a smallish venue. The employees were great. Been all over the U.S. and the bathrooms were some of these nicest and cleanest I've been in. Only downside is the one main entrance...maybe it's just because it's a smaller venue than most. Either way...it's a place to be proud of in the community.

The parking is a nightmare with construction constantly going on downtown. If you do have a concert or event be sure to use Waze app to make sure certain rides aren't closed. Allow yourself plenty of time to navigate.

My young children and I were disappointed that we had to sit in a continuous cloud of cigarette smoke for a few hours just to be able to watch our favorite bands, especially after how much I paid for the tickets.
They don't have any area for the smokers to step outside. (Most bars have figured out an easy way to allow this by having a fenced outdoor section). If you step outside the Ford Center, you can not return.
This leads to many, many people just smoking inside the venue. There were at least seven people just in my general vicinity at the last show I attended smoking cigarettes during the entire performance.
This is a violation of a Vanderburgh County ordinance, but apparently the Ford Center staff just looks the other way.

Run-Down, Dirty and too expensive, the food is horrible, make sure you stay away from the cheese fondue, it didn't taste like a cow was involved. I'm sure it will be another 30 years before the bonds are paid off, if ever. :-(

Very nice facility. Went here for a hockey game. The Icemen have some serious fans. Other than everything being overpriced and a poor design for traffic flow after the game was over We had a great time!

Clean and friendly staff! Great for events didnt think it was big enough for the circus we attended nothing like I remembered robert stadium. first time here in the ford center. And everythings expensive nothing out the ordinary for industry. But a nacho is almost 10 dollars cotton candy 6 a 20oz soda 4.50 so come prepared to spend your money!

Have only attended specific group conventions here (so no sporting events or anything). Commentary is on the building specifically - it is really well laid out with lots of bathrooms and wide passageways outside the seating areas. And the SEATS ARE AWESOME!!! They have cushion...awesome cushion. Great facility.

The "enhanced security" measures for events makes you wait in line forever to get in after walking 3 blocks from your parking space. Even handicapped parking is the equivalent of 1/2 block away. Then, once you find your seat, the seats are uncomfortable and your knees are wedged in the back of the seat in front of you. I'm only 5'5" and 130 lbs. I don't know how a large person would fit in these seats. Because of how it's designed, it's inevitable that the person sitting behind you will spill something down your back. The whole idea of this place is a joke. I miss Roberts Stadium.

Waste of an arena, can't tell any size difference from Roberts.Should've left Roberts stadium in business!!If Ford Center is all Evansville could come with,I feel they wasted their time and money, tearing down a piece of history!!
