Favorite winery we visited on our trip to Valle de Guadalupe. You must, must, must grab lunch at Troika right out front before or after your tasting. Tasting room is underneath a giant boat with skylights made from the bottom of wine bottles. Amazing.

WOW! First time ever at a winery and it couldn't have been better.

Fernanda, our wine tasting guide, was amazing. Super friendly and personable. She deserves all the accolades.

The wine is really good. We tried several kinds, but my personal favorite were the Natural kind (produced with no chemical intervention).

The architecture is unique. The caves are made out of old boats (the owner was a sailor himself).

If you haven't been, you should go. Highly recommend.

PS: don't go here if you have a preconceived notion of grapes or styles of wine. This is original Vale de Guadalupe production.

The place seemed magical to me, with the earth rammed and humid, the mid-afternoon sun, the water of the reservoir and the vines around the structure of the cellar.
I loved the cava and Enrique's attention at the tasting was extraordinary. I was pleasantly surprised with the experience of trying each wine. I loved them!!!

Please update your business hours. We got there around 12:00 p.m. today, we were sitting for around 20 minutes and nobody came to us. People from the food truck saw we were waiting, i had to go and ask them for service, they just say " we service at 1:00"

Vena Cava has one of the coolest wine tasting rooms in all El Valle. The tasting room is beneath an upsidedown boat. The area was nice and cool and the staff was knowledgeable and great - the service added to the overall experience. They had good wine, our favorite was the Big Blend.

There is a lunch truck outside and the food looked delicious. We did not have the opportunity to eat but I look forward to trying next time we visit. Also, there is not really any indoor lounging area. There is plenty of outdoor seating with an interesting and intriguing structure.

Tip: When using GoogleMaps, we were directed to the back entrance which is no longer open. I would advise you to follow the signs or use AppleMaps. The long way around is definitely bumpy and a bit challenging but the signs all point to the easier route.

Good wine and food.
But it is known in the valley that Mexicans are treated badly, it is the first time in all of Mexico that this happens to me.
The difference in the treatment of foreign people with the Mexican group was exponential.

I both read about this place online and from some people at another winery and really wanted to like the place, but my experience left a bitter taste in my mouth. Arrived and went up to the food truck to see if we could order food - there was no menu and we were directed to the tasting room. Inside the tasting room we waited for ~10 minutes and in that time no-one greeted us or offered to serve us. We walked around a bit trying to get the attention of any of the employees who ignored us completely. Eventually we left because we clearly weren't welcome.

Such a great experience! They have tastings on the hour and we arrived a quarter after. They were kind enough to host an off hour tasting for us on a Saturday and every wine poured was amazing, especially the two natural wines (one white, one amber). It can get busy due to tour groups, especially on the weekend, but in our four visits they've always been very kind and helpful, even when busy.

This place is very beautiful. There s a small lake on the property with a small fountain which is very relaxing if your outside having wine or beer. The building consists of upside down boats. The look really cool. When your inside your actually underground. Our tour guide was the one who actually showed us around the area. The staff itself was not very friendly. But the property was very beautiful. If our tour guide had not been with us we would ve not enjoyed our visit.

In addition to enjoying the tasting of excellent wines, I dare say that the best in the region, the delivery service at the national level is excellent. I ordered some bottles online, and they arrived at CDMX perfectly, and in less than a week.

This place fell extremely short from the recommendation we had received. Yeah, the upside down boats are cool. Three times I have walked in trying to purchase a tasting, but this winery has never made me feel welcomed. My husband and I have been ignored time after time. We gave it three chances and they failed us every time. I now enjoy the red sangria from the Troika bar instead and eating at Troika is a MUST when I'm in Valle Guadalupe; they've never failed me.

Complicated place to arrive, they do tastings every hour, the wonderful white wine, prices very close to the wine route, unfortunately the attention was very intermittent, two people left when they were not attended, no, they explained to us thoroughly. .. I hope it was only my case, an isolated case, since the place is amazing and the wine is very good

VENA CAVA is a vineyard that you have to reach through a gap, the landscapes without very nice and when you get the place is beautiful, a lake with ducks, an area to taste in front of the lake, in front of all a cava in the form of ship.

Inside we could taste the mixed package that consists of a natural wine and three conventional wines of $ 350 per person.
They also have two other types of tasting the Simple with vini, white, pink claret and red of $ 200 pesos and the classic one of pink white claret and two reds of $ 250.

The cava is very nice, the delicious tasting and the person who serves you super friendly.

This cava has artisanal wines, its production is local and its flavors are exquisite.

Here is Troika and the haute cuisine restaurant ground heart.

I invite you to write your own story until the next and good trip, of course good profit!

Small wine cellar in the Guadalupe Valley, it has a versatile variety of labels as well as an artificial lake on the outside.

It has a FoodTruck called Troika, which has a small variety of foods from ceviches, aguachiles, potatoes, scallops to octopus toast and tacos.

Inside the facilities of the vinicola you will realize that there are different options to try their wine (tastings), the cheapest part of the price of $ 250 and includes 2 reds and 1 white wine.

Its the best wine of Valle de Guadalupe in my opinion but their Lady at the winery has very bad manners and no customers service skills at all. We where there for a wine tasting, she was in a hurry and very temperamental , you cant treat people like she does in this industry. Then i bought wine to go, several bottles asked for an invoice and never got it, when I called to remind her she scolded me. I don't go to a winery to get yelled at, magnificent wine and place that would be exceptional if they had some one else managing the winery.

This winery was top of our list of places to visit while in Valle de Guadalupe. We heard such amazing things, but I didn't feel like it lived up to the hype. The view was alright, the architecture using overturned tuna boats was creative, there was a delicious food truck on site, but overall, the wines for me were just meh. I didn't feel particularly welcomed or awed by the location.

Great wine, great food, great ambience. Downsides are it is way down a long dirt road and they play the same song on repeat. Taste 5 wines for 220 pesos; the reds were too salty for me, but the white was fantastic. Also there is an electric car charging station, for free!

Don't be fooled by the look of this place when you first arrive. The boat hauls used as roofs look odd, however, once you enter the tasting room you are met with an interesting building and a wide selection of great wines.

The ticket is very nice, the place I think too but it looked very messy, we assume that because they had had an event. There are no tours as such, but you can explore its surroundings. Nothing exceptional; We ordered a claret wine quite bad.
