Pilcher Ambulance Review

I was very disappointed with the service I received, I agree with the 0 rating because I would have also have chosen it too.

I've been waiting for a supervisor to call me. It seems that they have no intention of doing so. I just want to say be careful when you see them on the highway not carrying a patient because I was run off of the road by one of their ambulances today I've called to make a complaint but they won't call me back about it, here I thought they were here to help the public not to hurt the public. I definitely recommend calling someone else if you need help NOT PILCHERS AMBULANCE

I m putting ONE star because I can t put less!!! Worst service I have encountered...never been HUNG UP ON by a business that is in fact a customer service business. Not to mention they never showed up!!!! No call to say running late or anything!!! Will NEVER recommend nor deal with again!!! Thanks to RICHARD!!!

There was a staff member who was a complete jerk. If wasn't so sick that day I would have noticed his name and reported him. If you don't like your job QUIT

After I called 911, the Fire Dept responded and completed an ALS assessment on my 90 year old husband. His heart was normal and he was suffering from dehydration and generalized weakness. (He had fallen.). Pilcher's Ambulance arrived and transported my husband to the hospital. They did not start an IV as would be Protocol for dehydration BUT did attach a heart monitor, copying what the Fire Dept Rescue had done with normal results. They billed the run as ALS because of the monitor. Having been a Paramedic and COO of a very large ambulance company, I feel this should have been a Basic Life Support transport since they didn't start an IV.

The crew on the ambulance couldn't have been nicer but when I called the office to question my large Co-pay, the gentleman couldn't have been ruder or more condescending.

I found that the ambulance company wasn't a preferred provider. As the only ambulance company in Dothan, they are costing patients more out of pocket expense than necessary if they would only apply for credentalialing with all insurance companies.

I am very unhappy with the business policies and practices of this company.

They helped my father when we needed someone and I appreciate it very much.

Im giving one star not because of the service we received when my 1yr old grand daughter had to be transported from flowers to childrens in Birmingham, but because they waited until we got there to tell us that they did not take her insurance.

Well this is not Betty but her daughter Karen, i had to call an ambulance last night for my boyfriend and they was nothing but rude. They didnt even acknowledge that i was even there. Just because of where people are staying doesnt give you the right to look down on people. I probably wont ever call again if its pilchers. Plus if it wouldbe been life or death situation he wouldve died.

This place needs to be looked at for fraudulent activity. I imagine there is overcoding happening. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Clearly You have to be A Very Rare Breed. To Work with the Sick .. I have only seen 2 people out of the whole Pilchers Ambulance Servives .. YALL MAKE PEOPLE HAVING TO EVEN THINK ABOUT CALLING ON YAL ..TO THINK TWICE .. YAL ARE VERY RUDE AND VERY UN PROFESSIONAL TO SAY THE LEAST.. Im surprised yal are still in business. Yal need some Competition in Dothan and the Houston Co Area ... Bet yal would check up on the Attitudes yal Carry with yal to the work place

Take wrong information from random person on scene, then refuse to take correct information over the phone while continuing to demand payment.
