Truckers picking up load from Vancouver Conventional centre.
Go on cordova street passing burrard enter into tunnel on left and you reach there.
Nice, roomy convention facility that provides superb support. The waterfront location is also a plus
Such a big and nice place. Went to the aritzia warehouse sale and it was complete madness. Girls were throwing clothes everywhere and grabbing stuff from each other. Dragging bags filled of clothes on the floor and others tripping over it. 5/5 was really amusing to watch.
This space is so huge. Tough for acoustics, but you don't feel the same kind of claustrophobia as with other convention halls.
Fabulous place for the recent winter 2019 Home Show
Huge convention center with 2 separate buildings. Great view through the windows.
Great view of the industrial harbour.
Not enough seats to for people to relax after a long conference.
We had a convention here it went so great. Nice facility. It was clean, beautiful area and views.
Always an amazing venue for trade shows. Exhibited about 20 times over the years, one of the best for sure. World class building
I dont know if I should blame the bad conventions we have on the center or the organizer. It's a beautiful building that is very well kept; nothing to really complain about. Bathrooms are very well designed and you feel safe when you are attending conferences in the area. Some of the carpet is getting old!
Wonderful huge space. Wow! What an amazing view over the river.
This is literally the most advanced and most economically healthy building. If you have a conference, this is the best place to go
I was here for IADR 2019 Symposium and definitely it s a great place for meeting.
Nice large, clean venue with helpful staff and good facilities.
Came here for ChefMeetsBCGrape. Good venue set up for that event. Lots of space to put down food and eat/drink before moving on to another station.
Well run but very dated. New convention centre definitely more of a world class facility.
It is a very impersonal modern place suitable for meetings or events
Beautiful views, amazing location! Negatives - no electrical outlets to charge phones. Vancouver needs to allow Uber into the city, real hassle to chase cabs because Canada is afraid of capitalism.
Over all i had a great time at the convention centre.
Have been here on multiple occasions, nice place and nice staff! Can accommodate upto 600 people at once.
The view and food are excellent, but we can't get past the horrible service. There were two choices on the menu between beef and sablefish, a few guests at the table had dietary issues where they can't have beef, so we had told our server who was kind and made note of it. When the meals came out, another server came with her to set the plates. The other server had instructed all plates to be put down by alternating the beef and fish around the table. When our server had voiced the dietary concerns, the other person had simply said to place them all down anyways and let them sort it out or exchange. Luckily everyone at the table was very accommodating in switching, not wanting to cause a scene, but this is very disappointing. Dietary concerns should not be taken lightly and if there were more complications that would've cause an issue, things would've gotten very serious. On top of this, there was only one refill of drinks for the whole night since guests have been seated from the beginning. This has been the worst catering service so far for the functions we had attended in the past two years.
if you're attending any PD seminars or business conferences, note which side of Building, East vs West you're entering from:
West side - you won't miss the large revolving globe above the front staircase from glass panels
East side - Pan Pacific Hotel
amazing space with "state of the art" LEED building
wall panels are all natural hemlock from BC coasts
simple & clean architectural designs modernizes the West Building expansion in 2009, in anticipation of Vancouver's 2010 Winter Olympics.
enjoy the spectacular view from 2nd floor after your seminar or conference!
I went here for a conference recently and I was pleasantly surprised. The building was very visibly pleasing and in a beautiful location overlooking the harbour. I would highly recommend going to a conference or event here if you get the chance.
No public Wifi and no cell phone charging stations in 2018. Even Burger King has these amenities.
I attended the North Shore 'Round Up' at the convention center Friday past and had a great experience. The staff , coordinators that run the center do a helluva good job. 5 stars all day long!
Great view, nice to walk around, friendly and accommodative employees!
Gorgeous and very easy to navigate! Loved GSA '14 here
Nice place for a business conference. Decent surrounding businesses for food, etc.
You can see something like a white tent on the waterfront, but it's a convention center. Large passenger ships can be anchored so that they berth at the convention center.
Came here for a wedding on long weekend.
Super busy, because of multiple events.
Food was okay, disappointed appies only went for one round.
Hard to get servers attention, not their fault though. (Huge hall)
Dessert was the best part of the evening!
Lighting - was weird, so hard to take pictures at night with the dim lights.
Would be nice if they were more supportive of visitors with bicycles, with better access/storage.
Zenith of fresh air region . Would help you chill out from the daily hustle and bustle of work life.
