Decent venue with everything you need to put on an event.
Fantastic. Everything very well maintained. Nice place and fantastic architecture.
The 42nd Vancouver International Wine Fest (VIWF) is taking place this weekend. The featured country is France. Along with the rest of the world and some very fine wines and some great munchies are here at the Vancouver Convention Center. This is your chance to come out and try some very special, only here and now, wines. There are some exquisite Champagnes being poured as well. If you have not had a chance to try any of the famous Champagnes such as Piper-Heidsieck, Taittinger and others. This is the place to try several of these varieties all in one place. Check out the wines from Croatia, Romania, Uruguay. And the famous wineries from Italy, Spain, Portugal, Australia, Chile, Argentina, USA and of course Canada are here as well show cases their special not available in B.C. products!! Please give me a like and have a fabulous day too !!
Government facility, but people can't see what's inside, isn't that people's tax money
Great place to see all ships in and out of port. Clean, great for picture taking and walking.
Amazing conference, and don't drink the toilet water apparently.
Beautiful place. Came for the home show. Clean, friendly and helpful staff
We had good time with Canadian tourism college students.
Guide was very knowledgeable .
Very big center to use for seminars and
Wedding events.
There for the Fall Home show, always a great time there, wonderful venue for large events as such
This place is so massive it's hard to believe it's sitting on landfill, especially with the huge escalators going down to the sublevel where they hold car shows, which as the photo shows is incredibly spacious when empty.
spacious, clean conference room and have a great view, nice spot to take pictures
Fantastic place to be and enjoy Coal Harbour, Vancouver BC! Excellent facilities! Very good service and attentions staff! Night recommend! Incredible views of Coal Harbour!
The night view of Vancouver is concentrated here: Wufan Hotel, Convention Center, Globe, Water Drop Statue, Winter Olympic Memorial Plaza, and the water airport are all concentrated here. Nei Street is a famous shop, hotel and business center.
There are a lot of restaurants here, including all-terrain recipes. Of course, the price is not cheap, but the level is very high, and the food is not disappointing.
A amazing place that holds the Cruise Ship Terminal, World Trade Center, Pan Pacific Hotel and Fly Over Canada theatre. It is also the start of a Beautiful 32km Ocean Front Walkway / Bicycle Path around Vancouver and Stanley Park
I had a professional development session here. Perhaps I am just getting used to the place or perhaps they are getting better at running these sessions, but I quite enjoyed the facilities. There was a sign in the parking lot to direct me to the nearest entrance to my session, there were staff at the bottom and top of the escalators to guide me, there was coffee and pastry. The room was a decent temperature, audio was good. Video screens were large and bright. Only complaint? That parking is pricey!
Have gone to several conventions here and they were all run very well. Staff is very clear on where to go and how to get in, convention floor and halls are also very clean and well put together. Not to mention the view is fantastic. The convention floor is also very well optimized.
Very well organised place, in a very central location and with beautiful views. Perhaps too beautiful... It's not conducive to you wanting to stay in the convention center
My favorite place to attend conferences I've seen tony Robbins twice and phil town recently
Amazing view, neat and clean area, very hygienic place and wonderful staff.
Large modern, comfortable and technological convention center in Vancouver, receives international events.
Great view good venue. Parking is a bit pricy. Try to go for street parking
I have to admit that for the cost of 900 million, this facility looks pretty awesome. They should invest in escalators that automatically turn off when not in use. Also, I'm not sure if LED lights were used but I'm hoping so. The ceiling in the upper floors of the facility is awesome with great views of Vancouver. Also, in the entrance I'm not why there is an area without any lights, it's pretty dark at night time. I'm happy that they are using sustainable water for bathroom flushing and have a live roof with water collection.
Will comeback next year!
Great location great view great building!
Really cool place lots of restaurants near by, I come here twice a year for conventions
Love to have a walk there while admiring all the cruises.
I went here for a convention, and it is absolutely beautiful in the inside and multiple rooms to explore! It also has a huge globe you can see.
Amazing place, deffinetly want to come back some day.
Came here for the Annual Circle Craft Christmas fair.
Everything is sold here are made by the artists and artisans.
You can find jewelry, chocolate, clothes, spices, toys, pottery, honey, soap and novelty items.
Quality is good and you are helping creative people from all across Canada.
Coming here has become a yearly ritual to get ready for Christmas.
Fantastic architecture with windows opening to the North Shore Mountains. Best chef in Vancouver!,!!!
Attended Robotics conference here. Nice conf center on the water front.
We attended a convention there and found it to a fantastic location for one. Staff were very nice. Also it is nice to have so many other things so close by to enjoy
Very clean and great place to visit and walk around
Of course it's the best place to be for such events which would make it more pleasing say no more
Look forward to visiting every year in March at the Vancouver International Auto Show!
Amazing place. Always clean and it's well laid out.
Beautiful convention center outside and inside. Variety size of meeting rooms. They also have a small coffee shop inside for quick bites. Don t forget to spend time walking around this area.
my first visit to convention centre. The huge ball room is very impressive, and the harbour view is fantastic.
I have very positive experiences in several events hosted here.
Really nice convention center. Huge sails for roof. On the other hand the outdoor adventure show this year was terrible
Convention center has a big capacity, restrooms everywhere and available working station.
There is a east convention and a west convention. Both are perfect place for large conventions, office parties, and weddings. Conveniently located in downtown Vancouver facing the north shore mountains. Very accessible by public transportation (Skytrain, Seabus, buses, and taxi). Many downtown hotels are nearby and within walking distance. Many public parking garages are nearby but kind of pricey.
Modern convention center, great location with lots of restaurants close by
I'm the 1000th review! Woohoo!
Obligatory review comment: this place is great!
Cavernous convention centre - was here for a dinner - good food etx
I give it a 5 star for location and building. However, whenever attending conferences we are always met by miserable female security staff that take their jobs way too seriously. Perhaps it would be a good idea to run a course with them on people skills. Smiling and being approachable is key. Many people visit from all over and this type of negative behavior will deter them from wanting to return. 1 star for them! I will not attend anymore conferences there for that reason solely. I prefer to be in a more positive and welcoming environment. As I read other comments, I see I am not the only one that feels this way.
I really like the Vancouver convention centre. It's modern, functional, clean and easy to navigate. I've been for many events and have a great time.
You know, for a big convention centre, it s really well laid out. Easy to get around, find stuff, store stuff, host events, attend conventions... so it really is good at what it is...
Kudos to you VCC!
This was a great place to attend an event. Clean, open environment.
I ve attended many expos here its nice place and i love the fact that there is nice walk out of there
The annual Christmas fair is a must visit. The view of the harbour and the mountains and the waters is breathtaking.
The place is huge
Love going here on carshows and other similar events
Location was the best
Convention center host a lot of event here. Car show, Canada day, Fans Expo etc. Parking is expensive because of downtown area, those shop around the convention center is for tourists. They have bike lane and joking along the seaside view, plenty of bench you can sit down and rest to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee.
