Super location for a 45-week break. No pretensions of beautiful and clean rooms.

We were in transit so time for a nice salmon sandwich .... nice, quick order .... so we were able to continue driving quickly with a full stomach.

Good coffee with tasty cakes. Staff very friendly. Minus point I found the mess in the tunnel under the road

The food was below par.
Dirty dark carrot cubes and strings, meat was decent, fish was ok
But for this money only soup bowl of fries and half a cup of rhubarb as garnish for 2 people. Very bad. I immediately reported that I don't see them there anymore.
Almost no guest sat in dining room so time enough to prepare good food. V D Valk this is a letdown

You can eat well at van der Valk in Wieringerwerf. It is a pity that the menu note is adjusted. But the food itself is tasty. The hospitality is good and the service friendly and correct.

Whether you are in one vdV or the other, the concept is the same, the service is friendly and welcoming. The food is simply delicious and no, it is not "haute cuisine", because otherwise you will be hungry again in the parking lot. Wieringerwerf is very cozy so I like to come there.

Just to fall straight to the door, the service in the restaurant that did table 35 tonight was not social and forgot to place orders. Have to wait a very long time for food and drinks. When the drinks and the food arrived, he did not know who had ordered what, with only 4 filled tables he had to do, it does not seem to be so difficult. The rest of the servants were fine, who asked if everything was satisfactory and if we wanted something to drink, something that the first servant did not do at all. The starter (shrimp croquettes) was very tasty, definitely recommended! As a main course I had the spare ribs, these were not tender enough and I literally had a hard time. The tasty toucan wheat beer is also not recommended, lemonade with jab tastes better. Based on the above points, I would not recommend this restaurant.

The hotel may have undergone a renovation as far as the restaurant is concerned, but I still think this is a big drawback that staff do not really show themselves. For a fast road restaurant reasonable, but for really nice for your pleasure eating out no. Not recommended. You also have to wait a long time for baguettes. A bowl of cucumber as a raw vegetable and that's it. We find the hotel more to decline.

Just returned from van der falcon wieringermeer. We were from June 26 to Sunday June 28, 2020. We experienced this as pleasant. The service nice. Reception nice. Breakfast good. It is a small village with a few shops within walking distance. At the end of the shopping street is also a good wok if you want to eat something else.
