Good dinner and breakfast and good beds, only downside was the long wait in the bar

The room and the bathroom are very nice and spacious. The dinner in the restaurant was very good and the staff was very friendly and attentive. A star deduction because it really had very many spiders. The terrace was full of it, and also at the entrance to the rooms were countless spiders in a huge net. Also on the inside of the door hung some. Not very nice for spider phobics, because you have to pass the animals somehow.

Great location, you can go in all directions (right on the highway). Hotel looks a little less so for van der Valk standards. Employees did not change all towels and bathrobe (with personal items) was taken without mercy.

Eaten here on Thursday, September 20, and it was very tasty. Decent service and the atmosphere was good. It's a shame that you have to walk through a somewhat "creepy" tunnel under the A7 to get there.

Delicious lunch at hospitable Van der Valk Hotel Wieringermeer. Parking possible on both sides of the A7.

Easily accessible from the highway. Smooth service.

Neat rooms and food is good too, breakfast is excellent.

Been short for something to drink and eat. Cappuccino was not that tasty, but baguette tuna was delicious.

Biezoder as sweet as we were and the coffee from the reception never made me feel more than at home gr them ..

Had no coffee with meeting! Far too short cups and not yet after asking.

Stopped here for coffee with cake.
In the hall there is another slot machine to play.

I had not asked for pork tenderloin with herbs (not marinated), which I always got, but this was not possible. Been sick of it. So never go there again

Food was of good quality, unfortunately too much meat and very little vegetables (a small bowl with some beans, a piece of carrot and cauliflower and that for 4 people).

This hotel is currently refurbishing their hotel. The exterior and sign postage looks really old, dated, and bad. But the actual hotel rooms, the business side and the restaurant are looking great and have all the comforts you could wish for. Staff is nice, doesn't mind helping out with small favors like extra pillows or assistance. Overall great stay for a reasonable price.

Superb room and bathroom. Very friendly welcome, super nice staff and fantastic food. what more does a person want. Here the customer is truly king again

In fact, all places where communion has to have a bathroom and shower, for me is paramount, then comes the utility and comfort. Thank you, sorry my sincerity, the European has not come to the bathroom, sorry.

When I asked for it, it took 20 minutes before the vegetables arrived, I had finished eating

Friendly and fast service food is very good and a very reasonable price. Worth repeating

This hotel is not worthy of Van der Valk. After my visit from 07/15/2016 to 07/17/2016, totally dissatisfied.

Staff are hasty and customer unfriendly. Long wait for staff at reception and bar and there was an arrogant response.

Rooms are dirty and in dire need of maintenance, lamps do not work, doors are rusted and the shower is leaking. Also a lot of stains on the curtain and the windows. In addition, I missed a minibar (fridge). Beds were not nice to sleep on because of the easy sliding of the mattresses.

Breakfast was not fresh, much was not or not timely replenished and lacked taste. Dogs were also allowed in the restaurant which resulted in tails in the food and a lot of barking in the restaurant. There was little to no food for allergy sufferers and was only served when requested.

Very bad quality that you do pay for. I got the feeling that only the rooms that you paid the top price for were given attention.

With sunny weather I sat on the beautiful terrace, nice service and nice coffee!

4 waitresses walk by and see you not sit, lots of dust on the windowsill. Have left. How bad! Rule 1 in the hospitality industry: make contact and order drinks.

It was good and clean. Food exquisite and staff friendly. Spacious room with spacious shower. A small 8 (no Wellness) On to the next VDV hotel .. Breda.

Big dishes, reasonable price & friendly staff. But do not expect 4* refinement along the highway ;)

They are renovating and therefore you wake up very early because they are busy with rooms in the rooms just above you.

A few months ago, the four of us used coffee and cake here. Little to no variation in the pastries and when a few had the coffee, those cups were already removed and that is not done I think. We love to visit vd Valk and often but we no longer visit Wieringerwerf !!

After we were seated it took exactly 13 minutes for someone to come by for something to "drink". If the "tent" is now packed, then I understand, but this was not the case. This must and can be improved. Waitresses were constantly passing by without looking during these 13 minutes. After putting on my coat before leaving, someone came quickly to help.

Then ordered a tap "Amstel" beer with some soft drinks for the kids. The beer was not cold, even less so: it tasted watery, stale, with a strange taste. We said something about this, and 3 minutes later a new tap was ready. However, again with the same problem. Then only ordered a bottle of Heineken. Ladies and Gentlemen, check your draft beer before serving!

Food was fine, as you can expect at van der Valk.

Hospitable and good products fast service so you want for a road location.

Good and tasty food. Unfortunately they start with digital tablet to make your choice.
That's how you miss personal involvement

We went there for dinner March 28, 2016.
The service was neat and friendly.
We think the food at van der Valk is generally good.
I ordered a satay, to my great surprise I got a pork tenderloin with satay sauce and a little bean sprouts there

I really don't think this is possible.
If I had wanted a pork tenderloin I would have ordered it.
I said that to the waiter too.
The boy said it is the same meat.
Totally agree.
But a neutrally seasoned pork tenderloin is very different from satay.
When a satay is on a stick and seasoned like a satay and roasted or fried, if necessary, it tastes very differently like a pig shaasje.
It's a deception and I was very disappointed about it.

Lovely place to eat as well for very little money! We come here regularly!

Neat place to stop for a cup of coffee, lunch or dinner.
Friendly staff, free wifi, only downside in bad weather is the parking lot across the road with tunnel from Afsluitdijk

We had a wonderful dinner there with our Canadian family

Had lunch because we had to recharge our electric trolley. Excellent help from the two friendly girls. Both brown bread ordered however 1 dish was served with white bread. It was then said that it was really brown. However, it was whiter than the google search page on my smartphone. We don't care any further. When the coffee was served, one of the waitresses noticed that there was a very small fly in my coffee. She offered to replace the coffee. However, I love flies so I took the coffee anyway. And it tasted great, as did the coffee itself. Next year when I travel to the far north of the Netherlands I will load and have lunch here again.

Expensive, just very expensive. From nice to fake chic gone, but meanwhile expensive and not even that special, but staff are ok, friendly.
