Van der Valk Hotel Schiphol A4 Review

Great start to the holiday. Nice sized rooms. Slept well with the shuttle bus brought to Schiphol and the car can be parked for a month in the parking lot and all at a very competitive price compared to Long Parking Schiphol

A bit too old fashioned for my taste. The location is great for those having to do either a stopover or waiting for a flight. We had a week of conferences and the food was OK. Personnel is extremely kind

This hotel is HUGE. The rooms are well-designed, amenities include a full-service restaurant, a gym and a small indoor swimming pool. Shuttles are running to the airport regularly.

Perfect place to stay and best place to take eat for dinner.

We had a package with parking. It was the first time for us to spend the night near Schiphol before we fly. This is really super! Swim in the pool, sweat all the work stress out in the sauna and enjoy a delicious breakfast the next day! The breakfast was busy but everything was well supplemented so you were not short of anything! A golden tip is NOT to eat at the burger king !! The food in the hotel restaurant is super!

Young staff in the service very friendly and thinking with good handling of order and aftercare, really a must to feast.

In general very nice hotel. Though the rooms in the right aisle are quite old and though not really really nice to stay in. But the fact that you have access to a private yard when staying ground fool is very appreciable especially in the summer. You should think about putting some tables over there in summer time do the guests can really enjoy the outsides

The rooms are elegant but the Restroom doesn't have a trash basket and room itself has no fridge or mini bar. Also not too many facilities at recipient. I couldn't find a barber salon to do my hair or bear. Plus you are staying at no where for 180 euro per night

This is the second time in this hotel. Can only recommend it. This hotel consists of two areas. The front area is the Van der Valk Hotel, which is a bit old-fashioned (baroque), in the back part is the hotel, everything is more modern. We stayed at the hotel. Room very clean with open sink area. Rain shower delimited by a milky, opaque sliding door. Wellnes and swimming pool are unfortunately already 10 pm. Rich breakfast buffet. Breakfast room unfortunately very dark. Also in the evening you can dine here in the hotel restaurant. Nice service.

Extremely spacious room! The shuttle to and from the airport/train was clutch. Staff was very helpful. Plastic pillows sucked but the beds were comfortable. Beautiful facility.

Great VdValk. Busy. In addition to business travelers, many tourists. In the restaurant, not everything runs smoothly, the waiting time is relatively long, the service less attentive and it is expensive. In comparison with the largest VdValk location Vianen, this is all just not. That's why I visit Vianen more often from Amsterdam than I come to this location, even if that is closer.
That said, this Valkje is not bad either. So you really have to be here, you can go to this VdValk.
The advantage is that you have the bridge restaurant on the doorstep, if you want something different than the expensive options inside ..

Prima van de Valk address where the lunch buffet was top notch and very well cared for. The room arrangement was also fine, a short malfunction with the coffee maker was solved in no time.

If you have an early flight from Schiphol a good hotel to stay with eating facilities across the parking lot and with regular free shuttle service to and from Schiphol.

So it is actually a good hotel and it has 4 stars, the lobby is pompous but the bathrooms in the rooms are not great. Somehow it looks like it was in the 70s. Man doesn't even have a mixer tap to turn the water on. But I have to say the beds are amazing, very comfortable and everything was very, very clean.

The sound system of the meeting the rest, but otherwise nice and neat entry.

Going to renovate, I find brasserie more pleasant than restaurant at the moment. But of course it will be very beautiful, knowing falcons.

Top centrally located. The rooms are really well maintained. Everything is in the room, tea, coffee, minibar, refrigerator, mini irons as far as I have in memory. The staff is very friendly very helpful and very talented. The hotel interior is also everything you need parking, etc. Everything was very good.

Been here in 2012, stayed there for 2 nights, it s awesome and calm and quite about 10 mins to airport.

Wheelchair access left much to be desired compared to Toronto. Waited for over an hour with too few people to aid us and too few wheelchairs. Very disappointed

Nice hotel not far from the airport. True, there was not even a bottle of water in the room!

Great service! Everything adapted to covid and still 100% enjoyable.

I stayed here overnight as my flight was delayed. The staff were efficient and friendly, and the food was nice (though the waiter seemed to have no idea what was on the menu?) My room had a few flying insects in it, but overall it was fairly comfortable.

Fine and a nice hotel have slept here before nice rooms good staff and the bar is pleasantly busy and the food is also tasty with a good breakfast buffet in the morning

For years a fine van der Valk, good spacious rooms with neat bathroom. Dinner of very good quality and pleasant correct service.

Great hotel. Outstanding service. Excellent accommodation. Free shuttle to Schiphol. Great full breakfast. And if you eat white on the spot in the evening, there are plenty of options: in the hotel or opposite: KFC, More
