A 4-star hotel that is more than worthy of its qualification. Nice room, spacious bathroom with all amenities, air conditioning (!!), good restaurant and a bar with a terrace that is open late into the evening. And above all: very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Top.

Hospitality is at the top of their pampering list!
Quite sufficient for the Van der Valk hotel in Barendrecht.
Dinner was excellent after which we were allowed to stay on their site with the camper for the night because we had one glass too much. .... coffee with breakfast and fresh and fruity on the way the next morning. Thank you!!!

Great service and good food! I didn't like the house red, but luckily I got a nice different glass instead.

Despite a request for a mattress we had 2 separate beds ... super uncomfortable blocked cervical back pain ... the worst night of our lives, super unpleasant reception despite some bilinguals we stick the only crazy who s '' strives to question us in English and or Dutch, we only speak French. We left the place after tasting lunch I give a star just for breakfast

A real letdown !!
We went out to eat because of the holiday and because of the reviews here.
We should never have done that.
It took at least fifteen minutes before someone came to ask what we wanted to drink and whether we wanted the menu, and that while it was really not busy, not half of the tables were occupied.
After our order we were served the starter within fifteen minutes, but then we could continue to wait for the main course, because they appeared to forget that !!
Also the table next to us they first brought the wrong dish and then they also forgot these people.
If the food is tasty then you quickly forget this, but the food didn't taste like anything either.
The steak was not medium, but almost well done and the sole did not taste like anything.
The fries were almost cold.
All in all and a real letdown and certainly not recommended if you want to eat out.

There are no vegan dishes but 3 vegetarian.
The cook wants to make a vegan dish, it was just tasteless.
Really bad that such a large concern has no vegan dishes on the menu, not even a vegan dessert.
Even worse, the chef cannot prepare a tasty vegan dish.
As a good maker you do not have to pay for 1 dish, I am not waiting for that either.
It would be better to pay more attention to this and to put something on the menu for the vegan.
That was promised, we are going to experience it in the future, I hope.

Afternoon tea was disappointing less than a few years ago. It's just a high tea. We were put a pot of tea on the table and they didn't even ask if you wanted coffee. We had a gift card and a waitress came to hand it in and it was all right. We walk to the exit and then a waitress says E 5.80. It seemed a bit strange to us.

It is a nice hotel inside. The rooms are large and tidy. The breakfast is extensive and restaurant staff is very friendly

It is a fantastic place where you can eat delicious and relaxed.

We visited last Sunday to discuss a High Tea for 25 people. The reason is my parents' 60-year marriage. The next day, nicely approached by the sales department to go through everything. Saturday, January 26 is the big day, all brothers and sisters are there ... and my parents know nothing. I am sure it will be taken care of by van der Valk.

A delicious afternoon tea done this afternoon. Various snacks and friendly staff. There was a nice atmosphere and the dining room was beautiful!

With the family made use of the dinner buffet. Plenty of choice. Unfortunately certain dishes were not replenished (asparagus).
Also deserts were no longer replenished. Operation was neat.

Saturday November 2, my wife and I celebrated our 35-year marriage with a dinner at vd Valk. The food and the service were excellent. Partly because of this we had a great evening, thanks for this.

Only been for coffee to kick off a motorcycle tour. Fine coffee as used to van der Valk. Ample parking space.

It is a very nice good residual ridge with very fast servers, and there are always lots of people so you have to get there early

It is a pity that there is only 1 comfortable chair in the room, the other chair is not nice for the desk chair.

With nice weather you can sit on the terrace. Although the hotel restaurant is located at a busy traffic junction, you hardly notice it.

Meals are not worth the money. Pathetic garnish, a small bowl of vegetables and a handful of weak fries. Soup that we wanted beforehand was already consumed early in the evening.

Order your coffee and your cup will be on such a dirty saucer. I wonder if the cup was clean, but the coffee (black) had already been consumed.
We never received the ordered tompouce.
I am not used to this from Van der Valk, but everything is deteriorating, apparently Van der Valk too.

Mooie, ruime, propere kamers. Mooi en verzorgd hotel in 't algemeen. Vriendelijke en vlotte bediening. Live Cooking ontbijt & diner zijn absoluut aanraders!
