Nice meeting room. Food was also tasty but not fantastic.

Very nice hotel with spacious and comfortable rooms. Despite it's location next to the highway it was very quiet. We did not have breakfast but the restaurants there were vey luxurious. Free parking and friendly staff.

Great hotel, perfect location, good breakfast, service in bar / lobby unfortunately not so good.

We waited over an hour for our lunch.
Very poor service, if you cannot serve a group you must not accept them. Never had such a bad lunch.
Van der Valk has fallen off his pedestal, will probably take a while before I eat something there.

At the end of a training day under spewed by a fellow student who was sick. (Super gross)! Staff offered directly workwear and thus can do exam and passed. Thanx staff VDV Ridderkerk!

Great hotel with very spacious rooms. Bathroom is also nice and spacious. In the restuarant you can eat well with enough choice. In addition, sufficient parking options.

We arrived an hour later than we had indicated and the room was not ready. We did get a voucher for a drink at the bar, then after half an hour there was no one to pick us up, we had to ask at the reception and they forgot to pick us up at the bar. Then we arrived on our floor, and the first thing we noticed was the bare walls and the carpet is also in need of replacement. When we got to the room there were dirty stains in the chair, the fridge / minibar was not turned on and was even turned off, so you couldn't put your bottle of water in it yourself if you wanted to. Kitwork in the bathroom seemed to have been done by a 5 year old child. And the beds were rock hard and the pillow was too hard so now I have a neck pain. Very dated room over all. With breakfast we did not get everything that was promised on the menu and the staff do not look up or so so ended up taking the basket of fillings from another table. Staff also came to our table 3x with a wrong order. In short vd Valk Ridderkerk certainly does not honor the name Van der Valk. Very sinful.

The room was fine as well as the breakfast. The dinner was disappointing. The quality was fine but the execution on the plate was far below standard. The layout was really bad and you don't expect that at Van der Valk. Too bad you can't place a photo here. You notice that since the opening, where I attended, little has been done about the necessary maintenance of the corridors, for example. Stripes on the walls etc. This is not the van der Valk standard. Anyway, fine!

I always sit here in the lounge area to have a beer. It is a nice place to visit with good friends. It has style and yet at a reasonable price.

Hotel could use some maintenance.
Wallpaper etc. is no longer present and / or broken in many places.
Furthermore, there is a sour smell in the public space to the rooms (probably from the carpet)
They spray with a smell in this room but that is only a temporary solution.

Due to the distance due to corona a little less busy but the service is attentive and the food is good although my pork belly menu was a bit disappointing.

Tuesday 30 July been there for a sanitary stop. Ladies toilet, completely filthy. Toilet glasses were covered in shit. Did the cleaning lady come out of the toilet. You would expect that she had cleaned. Had just been half past eleven. On the wall there is a grid that she had marked. Bah!

Present at a wedding which was held in van der Valkenburg. Staff were friendly and attentive! Recommended!
