Van der Valk Hotel Emmeloord Review

Poor, club sandwich ordered n slice of bread with some sliced chicken fillet. And mountains of lettuce.

Good food. Hospitable. Ample parking space. Good value for money. Mustard soup and farmer schnitzel.

The location is not the nicest, bit boring. But the friendly staff and excellent lunch on the terrace make up for that. Location a short distance from the highway is practical.

Only coffee and cake taken here. These were amazing. Nice place for a stopover.

Compared to other van der valk hotels in terms of breakfast. Slept well. Unfortunately no air conditioning in the room

It was fine. We have now been with you for the 4th time. And have visited the ValkHotels for many years. First with 10 people, later with 8 people. Unfortunately now with 6pers. We still hope to visit the Valk Hotels often. Best regards.

Van der Valk is always a great place to eat. That's what this review is about. We did not sleep there. For the second time we went to this location in Emmeloord and the food was good again. The service is also attentive and friendly. Excellent price and quality. If you drive past here and you feel like good food, take the exit and you will be there in no time.

Nice restaurant and tasty and good food. Some dark interior. The toilets were renovated and a mobile toilet trolley was outside. Not really great.

Eaten with 17 family members: the food was excellent, appointments were honored, even the small children had a great time. Thanks!

Restaurant: I was there for breakfast. The choice was too limited and the bar out of the ongoing buffet made no sense for the huge amount of people that wanted to eat. The quality was so-so

Practical place to eat just off the highway. Nice and quiet around lunchtime on weekends. Great food and good service. Only warm salmon bread is cold, but the salmon has been warm during cooking, the explanation was .....

Good, warm atmosphere. Fast, friendly service. Worth taking the motorway exit. Fast wifi.

Delicious food and a very nice atmosphere and the apple sauce dish is back no longer in a stainless steel dish with a cherry but superhip

We have stayed in many 4 star hotels. The breakfast was unfortunately really not ok. The sausages and bacon of the English breakfast were structurally burned (black). The scrambled eggs were not cooked properly. This is really not possible? Is this incidental or structural?

Have a nice meal a few times, good quality of dishes, nice menu nice employees. Recommended if you want to eat well in Emmeloord.

Spacious rooms, good and very large restaurant with nice service. Overall, very harmonious and pleasant atmosphere.

Nice hotel and restaurant with a few attractions near by, like The Orchid Farm. We booked one night and then decided to stay another night but had to switch to another room. They gave us an even better room - ground floor with farm field view. Looking forward to returning to this hotel and area again!

Bad service in terms of restaurant. Order a ginger like with ice and get a melted cube of ice in the glass ...

Had a stay last weekend. Food is always excellent at van der Valk, we also had very friendly (young) staff. The 4 person family room was also neat, some small improvement points but was clean and spacious. Would definitely come back here again.

Delicious lunch with, among other things, a blissful winter tea. Friendly and helpful service.

Only shame was breakfast. It was delicious, but you get two pancakes right away. Egg and bacon also in oversized portions. Saw many tables where this remained a shame.

Very nice and friendly. The showers are unfortunately the Hammer.Regenduschen, where the temperature is very bad adjustable. All in all, however, satisfied. Super breakfast and everything tried. Again

Bad bad bad! We arrive, hoping for a pleasant stay, we are assigned a room whose bath + toilet smelled heavily of urine. We indicate this and then get a clean room! What a first impression! Now dinner follows and we are simply forgotten with the menus in our hands. We call one of the ladies and she calls just before us to another lady: "that's not my table", she walks away and searches for the lady who had to help us (who was nowhere to be found). Now she comes back and reluctantly takes our order. Also on both mornings we had bad luck during breakfast. The free tables were not tidy and were full of remains from the previous guests. We had to request that a table was cleared for us. Then all plates, glasses etc. are cleared away but they leave the dirty / stained tablecloth for us. We will certainly never come back here. Super badly arranged !!!

The food was really good and the price was also reasonable, I thought it was a real improvement a year earlier, we had also been there when, in my opinion, the food left something to be desired, but that was not an issue now. The food was really great the service also super a must to go here to eat well !!!

Three times travel from room to reception: the key did not open the door ....
On the 4th attempt, the receptionist colleague found that the card was correct but the room number did not match !!!!! And up and down with the suitcase for 200 meters or what do I know ...

Oops, everything is just not. Rooms not clean. Breakfast was not nearly the same as others at v / d Valk hotels.

Lovely hotel that was beautifully decorated over Christmas. Have stayed here many times and highly recommend. The Restaurant is also of a high quality and well worth a visit.

Nice breakfast buffet for Mother's Day. Lots of choice and plenty to eat, including luxury sandwiches and fresh fruit. Recommended!

Fantastic as the party was arranged. Just a pity that the photos were not successful because the controls did not know how an ordinary camera works

Love this place. We've been twice and stayed in the lodge 22 suite. So nice to have a night away. Also if you want you can have great food in the small town that's not far from the hotel.

Poor hotel and unqualified staff charged extra cleaning costs 50 euros you can clean entire hotel. Menu card has not been upgraded for a long time.

As long as everything goes well, you will not notice how worthless their service is. Because as soon as things go wrong, they can suddenly mean nothing to you and you have to settle for their solution. They are not open to alternatives. No more Emmeloord for me.
