Van der Valk hotel Eindhoven Review

The hotel is being renovated, which made it a bit messy, but the parts that have already been rebuilt look great.

Very clean and organized establishment. Very friendly staff. Many ways to relax: fitness, pool, bar, restaurant. The food is very good. The rooms are clean and modernized.

Large hotel close to main highways. Stayed several times all been good. Great brunch if you have time for it. Food is very good, large choice of breakfast and varied dinner menu. Rooms are good and major refurb currently in the process.

Good hotel, but I am renovating room 140 right next to jackhammers and hammers that go on all day. Nice loud sound between 8.30 and 17.00 ... Complaint made but other than sorry from concierge nothing ... you just have to do that 3 meters further is being rebuilt. Day two they also demolished the corridor through which we had to go. Ceiling hammered out and carpet gone. And just drill bits. Nice to hear for 3 days during our stay. hotel does nothing but sorry and voila! For a 4-star little bit of sensation as breakfast or dinner, the pain could have eased. But no ... sorry and just stay in the noise. Which is also not mentioned, so you can only know if you have already booked and paid ... Bye Van Der Valk! Good luck with it and yes Sorry, no vdv anymore ....

Great food. Clean rooms, but it's a bit far away from the train station

I would say bad, chaotic dirt maintenance, late at check-in at 7 pm amazing having to wait 25 minutes at 7 pm. Inside the room in dirty and I would say very old 80's no air conditioning and no fridge .... Hotel 70. 80 years on the Riviera .... The problem EUR 143 days ... No breakfast ..... And what about of the lack of soundproofing. Very bad I don't recommend it

Nice location for a meeting. Easy to reach via the highway and easy parking (first 3 hours free).

Nice place for lunch or business meetings; easy to reach, free parking and pretty good food/drinks. Service could be a little better though; friendly, but lacking a bit of professionalism.

Lunch and the evening buffet are great here, plenty of choice and it will be prepared for you in no time.

Excellent and well-kept meeting facilities. The menu offered for lunch was fine. In addition, centrally located with good connection to the motorway.

the info evening that I visited was well organized. on arrival coffee / tea / water with different types of fruit. room nicely spacious with enough space between the seats. During the break everything was cleared again and coffee / tea buffet nicely replenished.

Very bad experience I blame this hotel for not having taken initiatives following the numerous thefts of cars from their parking lots (9), no reliable security for a hotel of this standard I find it shameful.
Hotel to be avoided if you have a luxury car otherwise you will not find it, I'm not the type to comment on it but I really have to change that, because if I can avoid further trauma, it is with pleasure.
There is absolutely no point in your security, incredible that you can go in and out as you want.
And no apologies from management for this dirty night spent in your establishment ....

Very good hotel with pleasant team, definitely worth the money

Cozy place, very good two restaurants in the same building, spacious rooms, fully up to the price. Located close to HTC, 35 minute walk to campus. A bit off the downtown.

Everything looks neat and we are kindly received. The breakfast is extensive and more than adequate and just good. The reservation also went smoothly and without problems. Very satisfied!

The hotel is very centrally located on the motorway. Parking fees are refunded at the reception. Rooms are very clean. Staff all very nice. Unfortunately, the balcony was more of a shell, the windows weren't really tight and on arrival the air conditioning was set very cold, so that I couldn't get the room warm all night.

Have to wait a very long time for the operation. No normal mustard with the croquettes, but mustard mayonnaise which is really not tasty. Raw food was not fresh and crispy but soggy. Not recommended.

Lunch was really not tasty, I would get a crispy sandwich with cheese. Well I got a mountain of cheese with a slap of fat underneath. Reported this to the waiter, but he also said that he could do nothing about it.

I was there for a conference. The rooms for the seminars were clean, with ample seating. The provided food and drinks were plenty and very good.

Had perfect mother's day brunch. What a choice and everything equally tasty. Despite the crowds, still a nice place with 3 adults.

Lovely hotel. Perfect for international meetings in a stylish environment.

Running buffet done,
The food was for me part very bland and also had the feeling that the chefs couldn't handle the crowds. So the queue for the meat was already nice around the corner.

Desserts were nice and the environment was cozy.

We were going to the end of September but Due to circumstances we could happily move to this day. Beautiful hotel, slept here on 11/22/2019. On arrival we had taken the wrong entrance. A manager brought us nicely to the reception. We were helped by a sweet customer-friendly lady. We received an update of room and ended up in a beautiful spacious room. After a night out we still have in the cozy restaurant / bar sat and again the staff were very friendly. The bed was a large 2 bed and the shower was a rain shower. The room was equipped. The breakfast was excellent, there was more than enough and plenty of choice. Also a delicious fried egg or omelet was no trouble. The hotel was renovated and spacious. Again beautiful flex rooms for meetings. In the hotel they have a mini store which is very handy. In the restaurant you have an auto that can get you frikandels and croquettes. The staff at breakfast was also friendly and helpful. We will certainly be happy to come back to this hotel and maybe for 2 days. We felt really at ease and welcome here. Yes this hotel is definitely recommended. Compliments for the staff members then present.

Excellent hotel. Delicious mattresses. Excellent food. Very nice and helpful employees. Only the the shower is very small. No separate shower head. This was the only downside.

Lovely hotel, with some noisy people. The friendly service and the very extensive breakfast more than makes up for that.

Food was mediocre. Tasteless pasta, over-fried schnitzel and over-baked salmon.
