Great room, restaurant was ok. Corona rules were implemented very well and the 1.5 m distance was given everywhere.

Location is more than fine. All facilities are present such as WiFi which is offered for free. Parking is also good for each other. Enough space. Food was also good at noon. The only important point is that we had to put a lot of effort into getting the waiter's attention. That's too bad. But otherwise great for each other.

Being able to have a business conversation with a cup of coffee. Restaurant / Brasserie has a luxurious appearance with spontaneous staff.

Most of the staff unfriendly. Room decent with comfy chair, mirrors, desk, fridge, and air-con. Beds uncomfortable - two twins pushed together so you fall down the middle. Bathroom good but whole floor gets wet when you shower.

Nice staff, nice lunch only something can be done about the atmosphere.

The quality that you can expect from Van Der Valk. The appearance is less new and modern than elsewhere, but that is just the outside. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are delicious!

Wonderful hotel, always great service and good breakfast

Nice hotel good food in the restaurant. Only a big minus namely the breakfast buffet. While eating a white sandwich I was shocked to see green mold spots in the bread, after reporting the basket of bread checked it turned out to be completely moldy bahhh. Reported at the reception and received my 13.50 euros back. For me the fun was over.

For the price (125 per night) it's a bit bad. The room has no information about the disinfection of the toilet, the room is not completely cleaned. Nice service, breakfast buffet, tasty

The hotel is really nice and comfortable, located outside of the city in most cases. However, the restaurant is worth to visit

One of the worse vdValks in terms of food. Expensive sole fillets (choice) but way too dry and therefore tasteless

Like all Van der Valk hotels, this one is excellent and definitely recommended. Beautiful location (Friesland!) And a very spacious parking with the opportunity to let the passengers alight at the entrance. There are also many charging points for electric cars. Restaurant unfortunately not tried, but this is undoubtedly very good. Breakfast is without a doubt excellent. Plenty of choice ...

I actually want to give 3.5 stars;) Fine location great rooms. Something dated here and there. Good and friendly staff. Buffet is a good enough, but certainly less than most other Van der Valk hotels

A nice small and cozy hotel and very nice staff. Frisians are the nicest people in the Netherlands, (except for the people of Limburg ... then again) ....

Delicious eaten in the Brasserie. A salmon steak and mixed grill, generous portions that I (reasonably large eater) had more than enough. Mixed grill was not a skewer with some pieces of meat but a really good steak, chicken fillet, spare rib with about 5 ribs. All in all good food, well cared for and home satisfied.

bad experience concerns the service of a group in the restaurant. moderate rest in the budget rooms next to the bus station. you can sit here for hours without being served.

While the outside might not look like much, the inside was amazing. It had a modern look to it and everywere you looked was some special object of interest. The service provided could not have been better and the hotel rooms were really neat. The floors were soft and so were the cairs and the beds. The lock on the door were you had to put your pass in worked like a charm. The bathrooms were made for a king. Shower, hairdryer, warmed mirror and towels included. This was the best hotel I've been to yet!

Great little hotel. Nice staff at the counter, restaurant and brasserie, large comfortable room with bath and shower, coffee maker and kettle. Nice bed, large bathroom with bath and shower. We stayed on the ground floor on the left wing. The gym is small, with three gym machines, but on New Year's Day the room was just for the two of us. We participated in the New Year's brunch. It was arranged down to the smallest point. Here too, the staff went out of their way to make us happy. Wonderful start to the new year. In short, thank you very much to the Van der Valk Hotel!
