Van der Valk Hotel Drachten Reviews

Slept wonderfully and ate well (Easter arrangement). Van der Valk is a proven concept and that offers us the certainty that we require. This time again, the promise of a pleasant stay has been fulfilled!

A very calm place indeed

Because we live in Drachten we regularly have a bite to eat. Always sweet and helpful staff. It is never comfortably warm, but now it was extremely cold and the trip was enormous from the brasserie, that is not cozy! Very little choice of main dishes, and especially if you don't eat pork. The tournedos was wonderfully tender and tasteful but given the price / quality just a little too pricey. Next time but a short drive to van der valk Wolvega ..

Is easily accessible, the coffee and cakes were tasty but the interior is absolutely poorly maintained. The atmosphere was not cozy.
The seats were broken and dirty, the tables also left something to be desired.
Don't like to come here again.

Sleeping was great, but the coffee at breakfast is way too bitter. We would love to come and taste the new coffee ..... Illy, Lavazza, Boot?

Between the restaurant and brasserie you can smell a particularly unpleasant odor in the waste containers. You can smell almost the entire hallway.

The room was not as we were used to, a lot of noise from the air conditioning or heater.

Super nice hotel friendly staff. Delicious breakfast in the morning. Nice room with walk-in shower, air-conditioned room. Too bad it was 2 single beds. Yet slept wonderfully.

Very nice room for the price, very good breakfast, nice bathroom and in the evening good food in the hotel.

All facilities available, professional staff. Too bad again that like so often, I had to go back to activate the keycard. Moving around twice with all your luggage through a hotel because the activation is not going well at first, remains boring.

For training must stay here and have lunch. Simply super. T is a party to come and eat with you.

Nice hotel that is perfectly situated on the outskirts of Drachten. Roads nearby so that the highways are quickly accessible. We had lunch there first. Excellent service and food was tasty. Gold also for dinner. Not too much choice but tasty. The room was clean and equipped with a wonderful shower. For us, too, a must.

Nice rural location of the facilities. The restaurant feels open, but because of that, emotionally, somewhat small and dated. Fortunately, in addition to the delicious food, I was able to enjoy my beautiful company. She is the 5th star who makes all stars complete and thus, has laid a foundation for a sublime future <3

Peace and space and fine to eat and to sleep and of course rest

Sunday being bowling, nice location, but a dated look. Special that you have to go to the parking lot via the back, gives the impression that you end up in a kind of slum.
