Very nice decoration, very chic, very bad service, 1 employee has earned the extra star, the rest of the employees were not very happy to help.

Clean, spacious room and bathroom. Wonderful place to stay

Good service! Some outdated interior. Furthermore, just sanitary and clean everywhere. Staff generally cheerful. Certainly helpful.

I come here more often, a lovely terrace. But today it didn't go well. We got a lunch menu, but got soup that was not available. Then we had to wait a long time. When we asked, a table with 15 people was the reason. I had something new off the menu. Shaksuka. When I got it I was shocked. In a pan was some tomato, 2 eggs and feta. With a dried stalk of coriander. So little. You saw the bottom of the pan. Nothing to baptize. I sent it back. The next pan contained more tomato. This was certainly not "v.d. falcon" service was not alert. It just didn't work out and that's a shame.

Delicious eaten and slept. Good and well cared for.

A little bit out of the way but nice. The rooms are heated and cooled quickly and easily, coffee and tea are in the room and the bathrooms are large. The restaurant is ok, however, the bar had only a draft of draft beer and the bartender was probably in the kitchen so we would have to wait for him to order our second beer.

Nice hotel. Good service. Too little parking if there are multiple parties at the same time

Well-known Toucan hotel where I enjoyed a Christmas dinner / buffet with my former colleagues. Care was well arranged

Nice bed, nice location, friendly staff and a super sweet receptionist !!
Small disadvantage, the curtains still let a little light through and you can hear the noise from the road quite well.
Otherwise very nice and modern!

Worst experience ever at van der valk. On arrival we spent more than 10 minutes at a table while none of the wait staff was in the restaurant. Walked to the kitchen to ask someone in the restaurant. Then we went at half past six from the room where the lock did not work, this indicated at the reception it would be equalized because we could not go back in the room. When we came back at half past eight, we still had to start, all in all we could not be in our room until a quarter past nine. A bad case for the falcon man, can take an example at Schiphol.

Nice starting point for bike rides
Accessibility and ample parking space are a plus. Furnishing and appearance of a standard room, entrance, restaurant not of the same standard that you are used to at other van der Valk hotels. Preference was not taken with it. Would people have been able to report in advance? Key card didn't work twice. Enjoyed breakfast 2x at the beach, better view and better price than at the hotel!

4 different people at the table, one to receive you, then one for drinks, then someone to take order and another to serve the order. It takes all ages and there it goes wrong in the communication so you do not get what you ordered

Can we use a renovation but then maintain the staff

We have already visited a lot of "van de Valkjes". This hotel is also what you can expect from a van de Valk. Very neat rooms, nice central location and great breakfast buffet.

Decent hotel, nice decor, amenities are pretty standard for a hotel (shoe polish was a surprising extra). Staff are very friendly, and there's a wide spread of stuff for breakfast. It is rather out of the way and there's not much to do in the neighborhood. It's only 10 minutes from the station, but the bus only comes once an hour.

Food is delicious. Staff may be slightly more attentive. The manager therein against a plume. He was eating himself and stopped for a moment to take our order

Food is average but if you want to sit outside they have a great terrace where you can sit comfortably even when it's a cooler day. Lots of free parking available. Would recommend going there for drinks and maybe a small bite

Did not sleep there, but ate in a restaurant. What strikes me is that the fries are really not tasty. And the potato balls are also fried. I myself would not serve that to my customers. It is difficult to bake new potatoes with a knob of butter. Furthermore, great food.
