Nice and comfortable hotel, good varied breakfast buffet

We have celebrated my grandparents' silver feather wedding there and that was completely taken care of with running buffet and the service was very good. Highly recommended and the area is beautiful

Slept here several times from the suites to the regular rooms, swimming pool, Delicious breakfast, hospitable staff, wonderful in the woods but also near the center of Utrecht for example !!

Enjoyed ice cream on the terrace outside, a must So, Bananasplit or lady blanching etc, go for it

Newly built hotel situated in the outskirts of De Bilt.
Can be easily reached by bus, but I would advise a taxi if you're carrying heavy suitcases.
The bus stops about 12 min walk away from the hotel.
It's fine if you're carrying small luggage, but a bit of a pain if you're carrying
20+kg bag.

Check in experience was pretty poor as the staff were not so friendly during check in or check out.
Room was clean and well looked after, they look pretty new, so no complaints there.

We got a room, where the two beds were combined into one with 2 single mattresses. This was very uncomfortable and after the first night, we asked them to change it into a room with a single large mattress, we paid extra 10 euro. The room was bigger and had the big king size mattress, however, the TV was then smaller. So the room was a downgrade and an upgrade at the same time?!?

Food menu is decent in the restaurant and is the closest place for food unless you fancy a 10-15 walk to De Bilt town center, however the prices average on around 20 euro for a main meal.

In summary, a new fresh hotel, a little bit out of the way and the staff attitude is a little stinky, but does a grand job for the money.

2 nights had in the suite of this beautiful hotel, first day the TV did not work but this is quickly resolved by placing a new TV. Everything was neat and tidy and the staff were very welcoming.
The breakfast was also very tasty and well worth the 15 euros per person per morning! Highly recommended!

Neat standard hotel. Operation and service is really below par. Too bad it kinda ruined your stay pleasure. Price quality is not balanced.

Room was too cold, thermostat did not work, lots of walking to the rooms, up and down the stairs with luggage, confusing lay-out, definitely not for people with walking issues, breakfast was good, many choises and varried. Would stay there again but not in the winter.

Nice point to sit on the terrace after a visit to Beerschoten / Houdringen for a glass and a snack. Friendly service, but a lot of trouble from the raging traffic.

Heerlijk koffie met verrukkelijke tompouc genuttigd. Prima plek om direct aan de bosrand na een heerlijke wandeling te vertoeven.

We have to ask for dinner cards, it took a long time before they finally took the food and ordered filleted fish, no, you get back to the kitchen with a degree. Then again ask it took long for dessert.

I was here with a family dinner. Beautiful setting and really delicious food. And of course apple sauce with a cherry! Friendly service. We were in a beautiful room

For more than 30 years this hotel has been serving guests from all corners. In some respects the wear and tear shows. Coffee machine leaks water, rain shower is in urgent need of decalcification, fridge regulator is not working properly, you know, the little things. However the beds are soft but comfortable, turn down is complete, place is clean, good little swimming pool, nice gratuit toiletries, decent parking, friendly staff. Nice place everything considered.

Delicious eaten

Delicious breakfast with a rich choice of various sandwiches and spreads. Drinking unlimited coffee and tea during breakfast. Evening meal is very tasty and we really enjoyed it. The room is very spacious. The only downside was that the pool was broken and that we could only swim once. And in the room there was not a double bed but two single beds. In short, had a fantastic time and a beautiful setting.

Nice room, with fridge, Nespresso, TV and nice bathroom with wonderful shower.

It was a bit disappointing, it is not comparable with the falcon at the residential boelevaar in utrecht

Delicious canard as a main course and truffle chocolate with orange ice cream for dessert. Delicious. Got the main course pretty quickly, but unfortunately we had to wait a bit longer for dessert. Usually the service is smooth. May not spoil the fun. The food was delicious.

Hotel looks old and shabby, worthy of new construction and worthy of Van der Valk.

The food is ok but not really of high quality during the Easter brunch

Room was like a 2/3 star hotel; not so neat. My toilet door could not close next to it the coffee maker was defective. Before that called to the reception then she told me that we had to plug in the plug. She did it before and then the coffee maker ran over while we indicated this on the phone.

The hotel is nice however, the location between two busy roads makes sure that sitting on the terrace is also a less pleasant one.

The food was very tasty, would really recommend taking a dish with the dish since you have room to sit down.

Food good, service moderate. There are all young guys in the service who are not attentive and forget things. Most annoying was that there were a lot of flies inside. That shouldn't be?

Like any Van der Valk Hotel, this is a great meeting location that is easily accessible. The rooms are a bit less owing, among other things, to the relatively busy road past the hotel. The large parking area next to the hotel is also susceptible to car burglaries.

A very best place. Great food and sleep are all possible.
