Excellent service and the hotel rooms were fabulously clean!

Very pleasant hotel, but for me one thing is missing: room service. No possibility to have the breakfast in the room, and no dinner too. As I was a women alone on business travel sometimes it's appreciable to be quiet on the room.

Everything was at its best in this Hotel: the room, the breakfast, the lunch, the meeting room!

We went out for dinner with whole family (party of 10) for my sister's birthday. The interior was modern and updated. The service was nice but with some attitude. I wish they were friendlier. Waitress has forgotten to ask my drink. Food came in generous potions, and we had no complaints; however, my dish came delayed about 8 minutes (I timed... it seemed like ages) from the rest; therefore, everyone was waiting for me. I felt bad since everyone was hungry. When my dish spareribs arrived, there were no excuse nor apologies from the waitress. Too bad. Well, I did not complaint since it was my sister's birthday and did not want ruin the moment. Further, food and the atmosphere were good. It is a busy restaurant on weekends, and food is value for your money.

Very good service, friendly people. Many good facilities, clean and we had breakfast which was served in a large selection. Definite recommend. Whenever we need to stay in tbe neighbourhood we will choose this hotel as our favourite.

Whilst dining in the main dining area a rodent was seen by myself and other customers run across the floor.
Then on the second night in the bar rodents were seen popping in and out and running across the floor. Management were unphased and clearly already aware of the infestation.
No action, apology or explanation given...we were ignored.

Great hotel approximately 20mins from Amsterdam. However, the sauna and the gym disappointed me.

Great business hotel. Good service, big rooms, warm interior. Of course the surroundings are absolutely depressing but at least it is very close to a lot of businesses.

Have enjoyed the delicious lunch and friendly staff again after a long time.

Relaxed 3 hours a fantastic brunch with fish meat vegatarian. All types of coffee, tea with fresh herbs, orange juice, chocolate milk, yoki, amaretto, cake, ice cream. A great big room but well dressed. You don't have to eat anymore in the evening .. 4 stars because you get value for money but 40 euros p.p is not nothing.

I was here to attend a social dinner. The place is perfectly located, really easy to get here with a car. The personnel was really nice and funny, the food was great.

Visited this hotel regularly and the last time the service was disappointing. Asked if breakfast could be taken in the room for a fee, without asking what kind of room we used to be told that this was unfortunately only possible for guests with a suite as a room. I thought it was great that they had decided in advance that I would not stay in such a room. Recently, however, there is a good option for charging electric cars.

Truly an exceptional experience. One of those hotels that offer everything and more .. At a super price.
I dare to say a Five Star for what is proposed, for the size of the room, the bathroom, the services, the quality of the breakfast food etc.
Modern, clean, functional, spacious.
The tub ... Haven't seen such a large and comfortable tub FOR 2 in years.
The shower. Idem.
The bed, super comfortable, and super big.
And then ... Safe, minibar, 43 inch LG flat TV, coffee and tea in the room, iron and hairdryer. Double pillows in the closet.
Many thorns and many lights.
In short, rooms that have nothing to envy to a much higher category hotel.
Breakfast ; more of everything.
Sweet, savory, croissants, cakes, fresh bread, juices, eggs and much more. Buffet.
Smiling waiters running like crazy.
At the reception we met Chi chi, a great professional always ready to listen to her guests.
We will 100% return.

Its a good hotel with nice, great rooms, great and modern bathroom and good Service. Breakfast Buffet is good. Dinner is good. Many people Go there just for Dinner. The rooms need some maintenance in details for example the shower head that was rusty. Public restrooms are large and clean. Conference rooms are good. Big negative is the too cold AC Everywhere in the building.

Again a top hotel with real van der Valk class! Beautiful spacious rooms with a double bath and walk-in shower and wonderful beds. The breakfast is super as well as the three-course menu. Extra coffee machines for the breakfast buffet would not be a superfluous luxury.
The hotel is in a quiet location, no traffic noise.

Nice and big hotel. Lots of parking and friendly welcome. Rooms are very spacious and modern. The restaurant was also great. Fast and friendly service. Rooms on floor 0 at the back are ideal for smokers (terrace overlooking the garden)
Small minuses. note the details. they can create the idea that it's all glitter and glamor, but then you look superficially.
There is no coffee maker, but there is a kettle with instant coffee in cardboard cups. no real glasses but plastic. Finishing the terrace and hygiene in the bathroom. ( see pictures)

Very nicely refurbished, kids loved the indoor pool. Breakfast was good. Conveniently located off the highway and ten mins away from the city centre for shopping & food.

Weekend booked inc 3 course dinner.Dinner have to send back 3x because the meat was ice cold inside.In the lounge you want to order a rose wine from Valkwijn 1862, you get the other bottle from another brand as an answer first. This is indicated again when you check out and you indeed get an excuse because they have to, but whether it is really serious, the opinions are divided. No more van der Valk Almere for us.

However, the room was fine with a nice bathroom

Beautiful, new hotel. Room was very spacious and clean and the bathroom had a great tub. We ate dinner at the restaurant and it was fantastic. Friendly staff, ample parking, driving distance to the Oostvaardersplassen. Overall a very pleasant experience.

An absolute top hotel. Large rooms, nice rooms with nice bathrooms. The live-cooking restaurant is an absolute must, plenty of choice, good taste and good quality.
The hotel also has a swimming pool, fitness room with various equipment and a modest sauna room. The hotel is easy to reach and has ample parking.
If you have to spend the night here in the area, this is an absolute must

Excellent hotel by the Vd Valk chain. Some decades ago the Valk hotels were known for their cheap rooms and very affordable luncheons. Those lunches would attract mostly elderly with their grandchildren to eat that convenience food with a standard bowl of applesauce with a cherry on top. You had to make a reservation way ahead and could fill your belly for less than 15 guilders at the time. That currency is long gone, as well as those cheap rooms. Valk now has a high standard you can experience in most of their hotels. The prices went up accordingly, but are well within the average margin. I have (by coincidence) stayed in three of their hotels during this year All of them very nice with modern and spacious clean rooms. My favourite is the one in Apeldoorn, but Almere will not disappoint you. One small remark. I stayed on the 2nd floor and when heading towards the restaurant to have a (great) breakfast, I found myself lost. I found the linen chamber, a room with cleaning materials and several other places, but it took not only me, but also others some time to find a way in that maze of miscellanious opportunities leading everywhere but the reception and restaurant.
My advice? Please put clear sings on that (and maybe other) floors indicating how one can find the reception and restaurant.

We have been coming many times with family and friends in this restaurant and I could say not perfect, but everything was ok,
excluding some small issues that could be managed
But on Monday, 4 April I came with my husband on my birthday dinner in this restaurant wearing a delicate silk brand new (expensive) coat. An unexperienced waitress dropped poached eggs on it, all around the back, shoulder and sleeve area. The manager promised to solve the situation to our full satisfaction, as they have an own professional dry cleaning partner. After three days we had got the coat in a terrible condition of cemented stains of eggs all around it on a delicate soft silk, and smooth fabric texture turned into disastrous state . Moreover, they twisted collar area inside out and hardly ironed and pressed it in English type of collar that was not like that with this model!
On our complaining they said that they did everything with the right technology and procedure and will not take further responsibility anymore: dry cleaning does not take responsibility for ironing act, restaurant does not take responsibility for dry cleaning and hotel does not take responsibility for own restaurant. They proposed us to pick up the coat like it is now and told that they cannot help us anymore.
And what I have got: spoiled birthday evening, spoiled mood, spoiled further plans for wearing this coat on coming event, spoiled expensive thing that I cannot wear like this anymore , cannot recover and cannot buy new one as it sold out of stock...
I never expected from such a high rating hotel such an attitude to clients and I am so disappointed and upset that I would strongly recommend everyone to be careful and avoid this restaurant and hotel do not get in my terrible situation ...

Beautiful, spacious room with a nice, large bath. Bed was very comfortable. Only the (quite pricey) breakfast was not vegan-friendly at all (despite the fact that it had been communicated in advance that there would be vegetable variants on yogurt, for example).

Like a 2nd home, come there happy, beautiful and well cared for

One can feel the atmosphere at the entrance to the parking lot. Reception service - professional and friendly. The hotel has a swimming pool and sauna. It's nice, friendly, atmospheric. Close to the city center. I would recommend!

Had great days. Nice response by the reception on our wedding day with a small surprise. Sometimes small details and a beautiful suite. Sauna, steam bath and bubbles as well as rain shower ensure a great sauna evening. Neatly anticipated small setbacks. Partly due to Covid. Topper for me ...

Great place! The lobby and restaurant are well furnished and clean. The staff was helpful and polite. Coffee and pie were delicious. Would certainly visit again!
