Renaissance Park Apartments Review

We had Laura Miller the leasing consultant helping us out. We were able to tour the place before and sit down and talk about pricing. Laura was very on top of making sure we had all the information that we needed and was able to answer all the questions we might have had. Highly recommended this place to anyone that wants a good price and apartments that are on top of there game!

I gave it five stars so people will read!!! But the young lady that showed me the property didn t show the whole properties amenities, when I got into the conversation about pet rent, another lady interrupted and got defensive... even if I m wrong about what it goes too, as a potential resident, manager nor office personnel should lack in ability against adversity... nor argue with guests...I wouldn t recommend anyone here if you can choose where you live!

We have called Ren Park home since 2015. The layout of the unit is perfect for our small family. The complex doesn't feel or look like a typical apartment complex. It is quiet, no traffic noise or loud students. There is lots of open space for kids to run and play safely with courtyards behind each set of buildings. Since Ms. Kerry has become manager we have seen a difference in the area. There are kids out playing and the courtyards are manicured and clean. She has been the best thing to happen to this complex in a while. If something needs to be fixed, Mr Gene gets it done quickly and right. We really do have the best office and maintainence staff in town.

Maintance does not work and they do not care! Our A/C constantly breaks and they take their sweet time to fix it, and in less than 2 days it'll break again, they don't fix them! They don't understand some of us have children and have no where else to go! I wouldnt recommend these, and maintance is horrible, they will check but never fix any situation! Our A/C breaks down every 2 days and yet they haven't fixed it or have tried to found the actual problem!

Our experience with Renaissance Park Apartments has been fantastic. The office staff are always professional and helpful. Also have to give a 5 out of 5 to the maintenance members. They keep the apartment complex looking clean. The roads/parking lots are always clear of debris and maintain the garbage bin locations nicely (bulky items tend to appear at the base of the bins regardless of where they are at but they keep it clean). The pool is gated and is neat and orderly and the water is always clear.Maintenance requests are attended too promptly. Alot of the time within 1 business day depending if the request was sent it late in the day or not. The buildings themselves are bit older have been remodeled nicely.

A special circumstance I need to call attention to is the above and beyond service provided that they legally didn't have to do. We were expecting our second son this past spring and it has been extremely rough. Our son was diagnosed in the womb with an omphalocele where the intestines protrude out into the amniotic fluid through a defect in the abdominal wall. Shortening the story a bit, my wife had to be careflighted to Temple for an emergency c-section to save the baby. They saved the baby and both are doing great. During this time, our lease was expiring. They allowed us to continue paying month to month basis after the lease expired and I cant describe the relief it was to us that no matter what we were dealing with in Temple we had a home to come back to in College station. They have been amazing.

Not for me, but the woman in the office was super helpful and friendly.

This place it garbage, manager is garbage, service is garbage and the show apartment they let you look at is nothing like the ones you live in. Just a heads up

Place seemed great at first, moved in in March and have had constant ac issues since April and the management has zero interest in actually fixing the issue and only wants to bandaid things.

Upstairs neighbors Ac leaks through the ceiling twice since I've lived here. The ac in my unit has flooded the living room and hallway twice and even with showing the property manager and the maintenance staff that the ac drain is duct taped together it wasnt fixed until after my living room flooded the 2nd time.

Electricity bill Is constantly $250-300 for these small units because the ac systems are from the 80s and are undersized for the space inside.

All of the cabinets throughout the apartment have water damage from previous tenants and even though they advertise freshly remodeled they didn't have the decency to replace any of the cabinetry, the drawers dont fit or operate correctly, the laundry room doors are junk.

They still have yet to fix the water leak in my kids bedroom saying the damage was first a sun spot from the sun heating one portion of the window sill, but now there's visible water damage.

Ac unit is full of mold/algae and maintenance has zero interest in cleaning it out even if it poses a health hazard.

I've been told twice now that my ac not working at all isnt an emergency and to wait until the next business day for someone to come even look at it.

Tdlr: use your money and live somewhere else even if it costs a little more cause after you pay utilities here you're still spending $1,000-1,100 for a shoddy apartment with staff that doesn't care about the wellbeing of those that live here.

Was thinking about renting here but after seeing the response from the owner on some of these poor reviews I am thinking twice. Just a tip, you shouldn't give details about your tenants grievances on a public forum. That shows poor taste and lack of professionalism on your part.

Our lease expired on 7/13, and I moved out on 7/11, but they charged me to 7/16. This is wrong.

Update: They returned the overcharged part, but it took me twice to go to the office and three phone calls to talk with them...

Great apartments to live in and I LOVE the location. Love it here.

I've been living here for almost two years since I came to College Station. This complex definitely has pros and cons. Advantage is I really love the two-window bedroom which feels very good. The living room and the kitchen are very big and have two windows in opposite which gives a very good ventilation. Bad things are it is very old...and ants coming from all over. I have to tape my windows.
No additional fees such as parking. Water is covered. Electricity is high ranging from 80-140 depends on seasons. They keep changing managers but it is not a big deal. The maintenance is getting much better than last year because they fixed the huge hole on the road in front of my apartment. Not to far from west campus. No traffic before you get on to the wellborn in rush hours. Another inconvenient is nothing is around here. No restaurants or markets. But it is ok cuz I don't go there very often. Now I'm planning to move out because I need fitness center. I really couldn't find anywhere cheaper and the room larger. Kinda don't want to move but has to... The rent is 625 if you need washer and dryer +30/m+electricities <400$ a month! Oh the Internet is horrible...

Worked here as temporary maintenance. No complaints here I guess.

Beautiful cozy apartments!! Maintenance is really amazing at what they do!! Especially Mr. David he knows exactly what he does!! Also the staff is amazing! Quiet around here thats great, also be aware that whatever bad reviews was in the past. Now they have great people and great neighbors to live with.

Just moved in, the apartments were recently renovated and very clean. Area is super pet friendly and close to the main business part of town. Front office is extremely friendly and work orders for maintenance are done in a timely manor.

First let me say I gave this a 5 star so that it would be seen.
My fiance and our room mate have lived here for about 2 years now. At first things were great and then things changed. We have put in multiple work orders for our AC because it keeps freezing and is always hot and they never seem to fix it. I had someone come out yesterday to fix it and today it is frozen again. We have also put in work orders to get our bathrooms fixed because the paint is peeling off the tubs and they lost the work order. They waited until a week before a deadline is due to let us know that we missed the dead line. They are so unorganized it is sad. I will never recommend these apartments to any one. They are over priced for the size that they are and management is rude and disrespectful to attendants. Do not wast your time or money!!.

Great place to live! The staff has been so friendly. The changes that have been made are AMAZING! I'm loving the community. Anytime I need anything I'm glad I can go to Sherdonna or Bonnie at the main office and get the attention I need right away!

I have lived hear for 2 years now and really enjoyed living here. I enjoy visiting with the current girls in the office they are so upbeat and always very friendly. The maintenance staff has really improved over the last year and repairs are done quickly and efficiently. It s a quite family atmosphere with some college students but the quite ones!!

Very bad maintenance and management!! You need to go to the office Every Day for more than a week to have them fix your stuff. My roommate got robbed in front of our apartment and we asked them to have the lights on, they never did that! The tree in front of our apartment grows too much and blocked the pathway. We asked them to trim it, again, no matter how many times we asked for it, they NEVER do it!

The management and leasing staff is amazing! They will always go above and beyond to make sure tenants are taken care of. The maintenance is quick, knowledgeable, and friendly! If you re looking for a place to live with staff who care about you and your family, I highly recommend this complex. The new management has really turned this place around!

Our family has lived in this complex since early 2015, this will be the third time we have renewed our lease. The staff is friendly, very professional, and empathetic. Bonnie cares about her residents and it shows in how happy and how many of us have stayed on year after year. Our management is the best, she always goes out of her way to make this a safe family friendly and pet friendly complex. Unlike other complexes, students and families of all sizes and nationalities live seamlessly. It is very quiet, well lit, and clean. The maintenance staff is the best I have ever had. All work orders are addressed quickly and professionally. The units themselves are laid out perfectly for students or families with a good sized kitchen, which is hard to find in an apartment here. Several times a year, the staff have parties for the residents to meet each other. We are very happy here and am looking forward to another year.
