Excelent place, and the breakfast buffet is simply awesome.

Wonderful Hotel, friendly staff and always looking for the right solution.

(12-8-2020) delicious food in this beautiful hotel. Even in the tropical temperatures, the staff are incredibly friendly and the quality excellent!

We were 4 people and all had a delicious Chateau Briand medium, unfortunately it was a bit baked at 1. After we passed this on we got another one. Also someone came to us to apologize and we got a drink on the house for the inconvenience.

Outstanding service! Definitely recommended and I will come back when I am in the area, Hotel vd Valk Almere I only have 1 tip for you ..

We zijn beter gewend van Van der Valk.

Voor een zakelijke meeting met onze klanten zijn wij bij deze locatie binnen gelopen. In de aankomsthal hebben wij ca. 5 minuten gewacht tot iemand ons aansprak, helaas gebeurde dit niet terwijl ondanks personeel ons zag staan wachten.
Vervolgens zijn wij maar zelf bij het restaurant naar binnen gelopen en werden wij verwezen naar vieze en zeer stoffige tafels. Vervolgens hebben wij zelf moeten vragen of deze schoongemaakt konden worden.

Kom op jongens! Dit kan veel beter.

Good for family with teenage, recommend Triple bedroom closed to swimming pool.

The pluses are the beautiful spacious room, free parking, the breakfast, the general facilities and the approach in this corona time very professional and hygenic.

A small improvement point is that not every staff member makes an effort to show a smile. On the other hand, there are also employees who are made for the job and more than compensate for this. Finally, the rain shower is wonderful, only in our case half blocked by lime.

It was great, the food was great, the service was great and the surroundings were great. Definitely recommend this place.

Hotel with a luxurious appearance. Very spacious immaculately clean room with instant coffee and Lipton tea room. Bathroom with towels, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, bath and rain shower. The carpaccio was served without (expensive) pine nuts. They were delivered immediately when I announced that.

Good value, huge rooms, smart and new. The hotel itself is very smart and modern. The breakfast is good (but not spectacular). The location is near the main road but out of town with no local shops or eateries. It's all a bit soulless - that's why it's 4 stars not 5.

Very hospitable staff. Food is also tasty, freshly prepared and are brought out quickly. There is a nice warm atmosphere. Rooms are spacious and clean. Top hotel!

Decent hotel. Spacious rooms and excellent breakfast. Dinner wasn't special - and expensive. Rooms were large and modern, but could be cleaned better. Bathroom is great! The swimming pool is a great addition but should be cleaned better, especially with many children using it.

Excellent, modern Van der Valk. Has been around since 2011, but, funnily enough, has only eaten here for the first time. Great friendly service. Food was okay: nothing special but just what you expect from a Van der Valk.

BIG, stylish and very high quality rooms. Hotel is brand new, looks great and staff is impressively good.

Comfortable hotel. Good restaurant and staff. Rooms are very nice as are the amenities. Only down side is there is no room service.

Had a great stay at VdV Almere! The staff was very kind and helpful. The pool and sauna were great. The variety at the breakfast buffet was also great, especially the french toast. I had a comfortable stay in my room.

Very nice busy hotel, had a nice stay, just a pity that everything revolves around money. Think that slippers should really be free for guests on request. Super nice restaurant and large breakfast room. The breakfast and dinner were both very good and nice and fresh! Lots of variety in terms of food, delicious! Free welcome drinks on arrival with a direct booking. Bed slept very well but on the narrow side (80x200cm?), The 3rd bed was unfortunately much too soft, perhaps good for children but very bad for adults with a weak back. Bathroom and the room itself were spacious and beautiful. Only the place where the sink is was not quite right, it is placed a bit too far away to the middle and so are the mirrors in the bathroom. Brushing your teeth is a bit tricky. On arrival nothing was explained what guidelines have been taken regarding COVID-19, also no information about the hotel (breakfast, reservation for swimming pool and wellness, the maximum time you can spend there).

I had slept in the Royal Suite Rouge for the first time and I liked the room. Find all Royal Suites at vd Valk highly recommended. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. However, I found the dinner / new menu card very disappointing.

I had to deliver pizza i wasn't staying in the hotel

Had understood from my son that a housekeeping was coming into his room, it was dark in the room she turned on the light and saw that my son was sleeping, she woke him up, and asked if the room could be cleaned. He answered no and went on sleeping. Later I ran into her in the hallway and asked if she could clean the room. She made a sour face, finally she reluctantly cleaned it.

The next day my son woke up late, I called the receptionist if the room could be cleaned, she said someone like this is coming to clean but nobody has come by at all. I pay for hotel service, I expect service too!

I always have a problem with regalulating the air conditioning in the room, otherwise very comfortable and super breakfast !

I sincerely hope that someone who goes to Van Der Valk reads my review first and decides to go elsewhere. Restaurant was awful! The menu was very boring, not what you expect from Van Der Valk.

The spare ribs that my sister and mother ordered have barely eaten. This was not well made, the problem has already been mentioned in the kitchen but nothing has been done. We asked for compensation for the lost food, the only thing the floor manager could offer us was a sandwich or some grilled vegetables. Paid 88.70 for nothing. The service was bad and the floor manager service was even worse. We paid the amount and left.

Disgusting are the Van Der Valk employees. From all the reviews left by others I can see that I am not alone. The thing that irritates me the most are the reactions of Van Der Valk. They can apologize online for the inconvenience and any other bad experiences. But when push comes to shove, not! I sincerely hope you will go out of business and have a better hotel in its place.

No hairdryer in the room. Only noticed this after I had showered. Called reception and told them this and they wanted me to walk down soaking wet to get it. Said I wasn't prepared to do this and the staff had attitude.

Really nice hotel. Rooms are really big and modern. Hotel restaurant serves big menu full of good and well made food.

A la carte dinner at Van der Valk in Almere and it was well cared for. Very nice friendly and cared staff! Beautiful surroundings really a must!

Hotel is ok. Not many facilities, but good enough for a short stay. Food in the restaurant is good. You'll be served by students, so there'll be imperfections. They're giving their best. Atmosphere in restaurant is pretty romantic in the evening.

We had a great Brunch at Van Der Valk in Almere. So much fresh and delicious food. To much to try all. For every one there is something they will like. Very nice for large groups also and childeren will love this too. Helpful and friendly staff.

Bit strange that the cleaning ladies sat on our terrace smoking while we were still there. Anyway, top hotel, good food, friendly staff.

Delicious dinner tonight with the four of us. In a cozy atmosphere and friendly service.

Great hotel. Good freeway access. Good Resteraunt. Good Bar. Very nice indoor pool. Bicycle rentals. I stayed in a 3 bed room and it was very large. Roomy bathroom. Walking and riding paths very near by (woods, water, shopping). Very quite location on at business park/residential transition. About 45 km from airport. My only complaint - the telephone was near the beds and not on the desk - bit of a hassle.

Beautiful place for family Xmas. We had such a wonderful time for Xmas lunch buffet. Definitely next year for the Xmas. Spacious and tastefully decorated. Had a father Xmas who popped in to give presents to the young ones. Highly recommended

The hotel is comfortable and very clean. The beds are lovely. Wonderful shower and baths big enough for two! The food is good and plentiful. Very friendly staff. You need a car as the hotel is quite a long way from everything.

Nice rooms, good breakfast, friendly staff. They provide gluten-free bread on request (during breakfast).

Attended luxerious brunch at Van der Valk Almere at the conference room. Very chique interior, lots of good food (although the carpacchio was a bit stringy). Defiantly worth attending.

Food poisoning after dinner restaurant.
I ate mussels there and fell ill within 2 hours. Called and emailed the hotel but they do not take any responsibility, but simply states that this is not possible.

The lobby is a great place to work. Free wifi and the waiters only bother now and then.

Today our party had a meeting at Van der Valk Almere including lunch. Because I want to live as sustainable as possible, I am against animal suffering and I want to do as much as possible against climate change, I wanted to get a vegan lunch. That turned out to be quite a challenge. Apparently the serving of suffering is still common. How is it possible that in 2020 we still get a salad if we do not want to eat animal cruelty. Too bad Van der Valk, because the meeting lasted from 12.30-17.30 and all that time I had to eat a salad :-(

Very luxurious hotel, rooms and bathrooms are spacious, staff is very friendly and breakfast is heavenly. It's only disadvantage is its distance from the city center. I would recommend it to whoever is looking for a nice place to spend the night and relax.
