Simply mega, everything delicious, the room was great, everything was well equipped

Nice hotel. Great bathroom with separate shower and jacuzzi

Because of the mass, a lot goes wrong here, but also a lot goes well.
Take it as it is.

Nice hotel at a convenient location. Didn't hear anything of the traffic though. Wellness and swimming pool are small bit really comfortable.
Breakfast was really nice.
Small coffee/tea maker in each room!

The luxurious buffet dance on Boxing Day was one big disappointment. The only luxury was .... the price of 79.50 per person, the normal live a cooking is many times more extensive and better. So this never again. This is the opinion of the group of 23 people

Nice hotel we come here often for brunch only the last time it was very disappointing by a renovation not notified to me

Found the rooms a bit old .... not what I'm used to from the falcon ... Food was great ... Super nice staff everywhere .... And I think that's the most important thing .....

Nice hotel, friendly staff, there was a small problem but we immediately got another room and also a voucher for 3 x free pastries and coffee. Also received a box of chocolates. Super solved! Booked this time incl. Dinner. Wide choice and delicious food. Breakfast was as always good! Corona measures fine!

Nice, good restaurant. Unfortunately in restaurant only lunch buffet so sat in lounge. Friendly staff, nice meal, don't miss the applesauce ...

Delicious eaten on Valentine's Day even though we had reserved far in advance we had to stand in line which I personally found a bit strange.

Slept wonderfully only against 7 hours more aircraft movements above the hotel.

Spacious rooms, clean, good restaurant, friendly staff. Beautiful location

A mini vacation, 3 nights with husband and son of 6. A 4-person room with comfortable beds. Spacious and clean room. There were only 3 chairs instead of 4 (room 43). Spacious walk-in shower with whirlpool bath. On the 1st floor a swimming pool, whirlpool and sauna. Neat and very clean!
Enough eating and drinking options. Alkmaar is easy to do by bike, the beach is also nearby. The Zaanse Schans is also fun to visit!

Clean rooms, a/c, spacious rooms. Large complex for guests. Only complaint I have so far is that it is near a cow pasture so there is a slight smell sometimes when you leave the building

The company renovates the restaurant - okay. An 80-year-old comes over for dinner and takes the family - okay. Three guests have driven 200 km and are simply ignored for 20 minutes - not okay.

A cozy lunch with the family at the Valk? , not really. there are thermos flasks on the table that are still too dirty to look at, you happen to see a few shelf life dates on it. a guest comes to the table who cannot carry 2 plates at the same time etc. etc. my desire to eat was quickly over

We only had breakfast here! The buffet is really awesome! It is affordable and very tasty.
It is also a super nice atmosphere, and the upholstery of the hotel is super.
1 thing was slightly less .. the donuts from the breakfast buffet were a bit dry

Only had frozen mackerel by myn lunch, that is not very tasty, I had said something about it, got new ones after half an hour

Too bad when I booked an extra night I was treated like a pariah. Could not stay in the same room. Was snubbed by the receptionist. Never again Valk Akersloot. ROOM 15 VERY NOISY.

We came from Amsterdam at around 8.30pm and were looking forward to our room.
However, the first impression spoke for itself.
An old towel (dirty) hung over our TV and the bathroom was anything but clean and that at Covid-19 times!
We immediately went to the reception and complained about the conditions in our room.
There we were simply told that someone would be sent.
The good man came immediately and told us that it would be the eighth room today, which would not be clean, but they had changed the provider for the cleaning company.
This young man tried but clinically pure was out of the question.
There is also enough renovation rope in the hallways.
For us this hotel is no longer an option !!

Disabled room is not barrier-free in contrast to what is on the site. Room was very dusty (thick layer of dust on table leg, in lampshades near bed, in / on ventilation grille, on windowsill). Bedside lamp broken. Hot tub in room broken. Space next to beds is very tight to walk past with wheelchair / walker. This could be more or less solved by sliding the bed to one side. Staff should (be able to) pay a little more attention to cleaning.

Fine hotel although it is not new it is cozy. It is also bigger than I expected. The food is fine especially the tomato soup was very tasty.
The pool is quite big I estimate 25m by 10m and it was very quiet. Rivm rules are well followed.

One windfall in every area. Modern furnished rooms, super breakfast and dinner. Very friendly and a lot of staff.

Very nice hotel. Nice spacious rooms, the bed is wonderfully soft. Spacious swimming pool in the hotel with a steam cabin, jaquzi and sauna, great to unwind. Cozy bar and a choice of 2 restaurants. Staff is friendly and helpful. Wide selection at breakfast. In short, definitely recommended.

The restaurant has been worse in the past, but now again top.

Great place to have lunch. Looks neat, clean and tidy. Follow the correct procedure within the "new normal". Registration and reservation is required. Sufficient opportunities to wash hands and the meter and a half is easy to maintain. Toilets are clean and fresh too.
