For a few years I have stayed in this hotel and recommend it, rooms with good space and comfortable.
Food also very good, I recommend meat of very good quality.
Parking lot very large and is outside of town but close.

Van der Valk Exclusief Goes. Wij boekte daar de Bruidssuite.

Vanwege het tarief in vergelijking met andere Exclusiefs, wisten we dat we niet de luxe kunnen verwachten t.o.v bijvoorbeeld een Utrecht.

Bij binnenkomst was het behoorlijk warm in de kamer, de temparatuurmeter gaf 24 graden aan. De kamer rook een beetje muffig, maar dat hoort wel bij de inrichtig. Het is allemaal wat ouder, maargoed daar is de prijs ook naar. Het ronde hoge bad is echt geweldig en hebben wij heerlijk van genoten. De beveiliging van de thermostaatkraan van de douche is defect, waardoor de kraan behoorlijk heet was. Ook de spiegel heeft haar beste tijd wel gehad. Ook voelt de vloer in de aanloop naar het toilet en in het toilet erg warm aan. Waarschijnlijk vloerverwarming, maar de thermostaat hiervan hebben wij niet kunnen vinden. Mede door de warmte hiervan werd het ook warm in de kamer, en waren wij genoodzaakt de airco aan te zetten om het behagelijk te houden.

Het comfort van het bed is niet wat wij van een van der Valk exclusief gewend zijn, en is vermoedelijk ook wel aan vervanging toe. Ook had het bed geen hoeslaken, maar een normaal laken, waardoor deze bij beweging continu wegschoof.

Ondanks de prijs mag je er wel vanuit gaan dan bovenstaande genoemde zaken wel in orde zijn.

Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en in het restaurant hebben wij heerlijk gegeten. Chateau van de Chef is echt een aanrader! Hetzelfde geldt voor het klassieke dessert, Dame Blance. Ook de bediening (Josua) was zeer attent.

Wij hebben ondanks de kritische noot erg genoten van ons verblijf.

Simply good VALK restaurant in an easily accessible location on the edge of Goes to the Zeelandhallen. Here too the lunch buffet is excellent.

Bar is a nice place to have a drink and chat with people.

I like this hotel chain. They have many entrances and 2-3 floor buildings, where is very good to move with dogs. We stayed in the first floor and that was perfect! Wonderful breakfast! Very good choice of food, also red fish! A very nice green area around hotel. Well organized parking!

Never complained about anything, just good but I always find it so clean and cold inside, for the masses

Both service and food were excellent. The menu features the falafel Mustafa , highly recommended! Falafel as I've only eaten it before in the Middle East. This restaurant offers a good price / quality with a lovely terrace.

On the last day at breakfast we were confronted that we had to wear mouth masks. We did not bring it so you will understand that you could buy it there. We were told it was only needed at the buffet. To our surprise, the entire staff does not wear a cap at all. Not even the staff who work at the buffet. What a sham by van der valk. Just a mockery. But confront the guests with it at the last minute.

Be a little late but Jan 5 J.L. celebrated my birthday with a buffet lunch with 28 people, This was super fun and good food. Everyone happy, including me. The service was also good and the bill let me know; this is worth repeating.

Hotel is good and the food is also very tasty. I find the staff a little less nice! Did not feel so welcome.

We have been coming here for many years.Price quality just right one can always make comments but often wrongly. Certain comments are written by people who don't go to the hotel a lot or guests who expect miracles for these prices. Go to other hotels and make a comparison.,

We regularly visit the Van der Valk Exclusive Hotels and have spent two nights in Goes. Our first impression of the hotel Goes that the urge to innovate has stood still here. The bedroom was ok and the bathroom was recently renewed in our opinion. There was nothing about the brands. But the entrance, bar and bistro could use a makeover. Especially the seats in the bar and bistro had their longest time in terms of seating comfort. The kitchen also made a mistake. My food was served hot and then my partner's had cooled down reasonably well. Was solved again, but something like that should not happen to a cook. A matter of good timing and coordination in the kitchen. The prices of a bottle of Belgian beer and live cooking are above the average of the other exclusive hotels. In Apeldoorn, for example, live cooking costs 35 including all drinks from the Dutch range. In Goes the live cooking cost 32.50 excluding drinks. Only a bottle of flat water in Goes cost 3.00. In addition, live cooking is also relatively limited compared to the other exclusive hotels. Also a downside is the noise in the night hours. Between midnight and 2 am the necessary "partygoers" arrived, who were quite noisy and let their hotel room door slam shut. The hotel couldn't do anything about this, but we were a nuisance. At some hotels this is taken care of by double doors and a small corridor. We understand that there are necessary renovation plans in the drawer.

This is the 2nd time I have taken the buffet and it was good again. Good variety in the food and plenty of choice options.

The van der valk chain is a good chain. We did Beveren.Goes, and of course Verviers, and even celebrated our wedding there. It's worth the visit just for dinner or a drink.

Food super good but the crowds did not follow the kitchen and came 2nd sign fries not so we got for 5 people but potatoes for two people and left the main course waiting is very long.

Easter brunch. Excellent. Many choices and tasty dishes. Nice smooth operation.

That as a woman I didn't get into the room because my husband wasn't there yet, who would pay for the room. What customer unfriendly. I was tired, had a long journey and had been looking forward to a nice bath before my husband came. But no. I was not trusted, not even a free drink as compensation. While we are regular customers there ...

Clean rooms and friendly staff. The dogs are also allowed.

Room is clean and comfort, breakfast also with various food you can choose. Restaurant is having nice food, however need to improve on the service, it is quite take too long to wait.
