It was a Christmas package. Excellent, excellent care, it was very nice to be there.

Dogs are allowed, but are not allowed in the restaurant, but also not only in the room. So you can not go to eat, or the dog must be in the car.
Then say that dogs are not welcome

We went there for brunch it was fantastic highly recommended

Visited a lot of van der Valks and this was the first hotel where the staff is so unfriendly, too bad! In terms of room it is perfect, nothing to complain about. Provided you want to watch television, that works fine if you want to watch NPO 1, 2 and 3, but the rest is very annoying or doesn't work. (Turned out to be the case throughout the hotel.)

For a business meeting .... network ... with use of the vd Valk breakfast buffet. Is prims.

Nice place. Not much to do around the hotel unless you are willing to travel.

Come there regularly, have a nice lunch and then a cup of coffee on the cozy terrace!

Spacious room with pleasant facilities such as a Nespresso machine. Bathroom is spacious in size. Pleasant rain shower, large washbasin. Restaurant is spacious. It is strange that guests walk through each other and can hardly keep their distance with regard to corona. Friendly and very attentive staff. Minor inconveniences were immediately remedied.

Eten was 9/10 - kamer was 9/10 - bar was 7/10 - inchecken was 7/10.
Zolang hebben we nergens moeten wachten om ons aan te melden. Corona tijd, maar digitaal tijdperk ook; zou dus vlotter moeten gaan. ! Heb nog mensen hun ogen zien draaien als ze daar stonden te wachten. Spijtig !

De roomservice heeft een aantal steken laten vallen. Voor zo veel geld zou dit niet mogen.

Hotel had een dag geen warm water door werkzaamheden in de straat. Ik snap dat er werkzaamheden uitgevoerd moeten worden maar geeft dit aan met een briefje of persoonlijke melding. Na een nacht hard werken kwam ik zwart in de kamer aan en had geen gelegenheid een douche te nemen.

Food was poor and the room was large but quite old for 150euro I had expected more

We spend the night in a budget room, there was nothing wrong with that, simple but excellent, the service was also pleasant, when we arrived in our room the antenna was gone, well resolved, food good, tasty Zeeland mussels

Lunchen bij vd Valk Goes. NOOIT MEER.
Maak je via website een afspraak. Kom je binnen sta je gewoon 10 minuten bij de ingang van het restaurant te wachten.
Zelf maar naar personeel gezocht. Vraagt ze: komt u lunchen? Zoek maar een tafel, ik kom zo.
25 minuten gewacht en de serveerster maar geroepen. 'Wilt u lunchen?' was dezelfde vraag van dezelfde medewerkster.
Niets geen vragen corona gerelateerd, niets over een reservering.
Na ons kwam een ander stel, en werden meteen geholpen en kregen voor ons het eten.
Was het druk: Niet echt: 6 bezette tafels binnen, buiten 3 of 4.
Nooit meer lunchen bij Van der Valk Goes. Jammer.

Op mijn ingediende klacht kwam een ontkenning. Maar volgens mij was de klacht niet (goed) gelezen. Zelfs de aanhef was verkeerd.
Op mijn reactie op haar antwoord heeft de F&B manager nooit meer gereageerd. Gemiste kans.

Blijkbaar heeft u de klacht ook niet goed gelezen.
Teleurstellend uw reactie: medewerkster had het snel en accuraat opgelost?
Ze heeft eerst andere klanten geholpen, daarna een kwartier met twee andere vrouwelijke collega s staan kletsen achter de desk.
Toen ik haar riep en vertelde dat we al 20 minuten binnen waren, kwam er een zenuwachtig lachje.
Dat noem ik niet echt accuraat.
Echt waar: nog nooit zo slecht behandeld en dat in corona tijd. Helemaal geen gezondheidsvragen of noteren van gegevens.
Jammer dat u niet op z n minst aanbied om mijn teleurstellende lunch terug te betalen.
Ik laat mijn google review staan en zal zeker onder mijn zakelijke collega s Van der Valk Goes afraden.

The quality of the buffet was above expectations. Friendly, helpful and even funny staff. But I do think pre-cooking neat and fish before stir-fry in the same water is a bad thing.

Great hotel in a quiet location on the outskirts of Goes and directly on the four-lane. Good rooms, nice outdoor terrace at restaurant and great breakfast.

Slept well, but unfortunately no air conditioning in the room.

Een aantal keer afgelopen jaar van de kaart gegeten, dat was een verrassing. Vers, precies genoeg en gewoon lekker.
Prijsstelling ok, personeel vriendelijk.

The evening of November 6, we wanted to eat at the restaurant at 6 p.m. What depicts our surprise in a very impersonal way was that the restaurant was full. It was clear that a few tables were reserved but that most of the tables were not reserved. We were faced with the choice whether to eat at 7:00 pm in the restaurant or eat directly in the bar. In the end we opted for the bar, full of praise for the bar staff. All in all we think the way we treat is definitely not worthy of De Valk.

The food was great. What is very annoying is that the smokers stand in front of the revolving door and just stand still and obstruct the passage. The smoke is taken in through the revolving door. Not a nice end to your evening. Can you still smoke along?

Spacious, clean rooms! Friendly staff, extensive breakfast buffet. The dinner is of a large kitchen level and lacks finesse! A 4-star hotel not worthy, unfortunately!
