Fantastic tasty lunch with a group of 20 people. Nice tomato soup to cheer up yourself, lots of choice in cold and hot dishes, excellent quality, sufficient for everyone, friendly staff.

Rooms are nice and staff is friendly. I couldn't figure out how to adjust the heat in my room and it was often too high. There is also no fitness center which I feel should be a standard at all hotels.

My experience with food at hotels is that it's generally not so good. Van de Valk in Goes did positively surprise me with a very nice meal and excellent service. The atmosphere is nice, although it's a hotel setting of course. Definitely recommend this.

The central location for trips in Zeeland is great. The service and the breakfast are really good. Dog was also welcome. Unfortunately, some parts of the decor got a bit old and at the bar the cocktails were too exotic (for example: gin tonic with cucumbers, blueberries and lemons) therefore a star deduction.

Reservation through their own website are not held and automatically cancelled at 6pm on day of arrival, if you book through their website you receive a free drink (coupon to be used on the day of arrival) to prevent you from using it the bar will close much earlier then advertised.

I wont go again, you would expect more friendly personel.

The hotel is a bit older, here and there in need of renovation, not in spite of the very delicious breakfast, many different juices. Just great.

Not worthy of the falcon. Food okay. In the morning you are waiting for half an hour at the reception to check out, they have the printer in another office in the hall, who makes this up. Then after a half the second lady finally comes in, it seems ridiculous at 8 o'clock in the morning that there is only one lady to check out. I will never book again. Then Middelburg is a model of class

Been a few times for lunch. Food is always good and the staff very friendly. Feels only a bit dated, especially if you have been to Van der Valk in Middelburg.

As you would expect a Van der Valk: simply very good. Kitchen a little better, accommodation a little less (no kleenex, no coffee in the room, nor bottle of water ...), but generally speaking: very good.

The rooms are very nice and the restaurant is great. The food tastes great. In the bar you can make it very comfortable. The environment is also very nice as the hotel is a bit out of town. About the staff I can only say good things, all are very friendly.

Live cooking buffet: food is of good quality, only little choice. Price is relatively high certainly because drinking is not included. We were there on May 4th and it was beautiful and impressive that everyone was quiet at 8pm.

Very well. Too bad they only have 1 disabled person. I saw more people in a wheelchair this weekend. Maybe Van der Valk can make 1 more room. Breakfast and dinner was excellent. Room was great and spacious. Only the bed was not height adjustable. Fortunately my walker was a solution. Bathroom has a chair on wall to shower and toilet has 2 safety rails. And it is spacious and barrier-free.

I only ate a burger, but was great. Attentive staff and good cook.

Neat room, received free consumption. A transformer for lighting in the room made a squeaky noise, they immediately went to look at it.

For convenience it's excellent. For a special experience it's mediocre at best.

Agree with previous reviewers: the hotel could use a minor upgrade. Neatly clean room, but it is all just not: damage here and there, sealant in the bathroom that has had its day, bed that creaks on all sides, etc.

The staff is friendly, but don't order a cocktail at the bar: using dubbelfriss as a substitute for cranberry juice is really not possible.

Breakfast was quite chaotic, way too busy and no more tables available, so we sat in the brasserie on the other side of the hall. No idea if that was allowed, but you have to do something.

Food is delicious. Room are clean and big enough. Very customer friendly.

Comfort room is actually comfortable. Good finish, up-to-date and clean. Bathroom is very good. Seems very busy when you enter in the evening, but that was because the restaurant was overcrowded.

After a nasty start to our holiday here we had a lovely dinner in the evening and after we asked at the desk if they still had a room for 3 people, because the park manager of the park where we were staying left us in the cold and there were so many things went wrong, they were quickly checked to see if they still had a room and we could sleep well and have breakfast the next morning with various sandwiches, coffee, fruit juices and many other delicacies. Top location, super friendly staff, wonderful beds and ... a super breakfast. Van der Valk Goes ..... Thank you very much, thanks to you we were able to enjoy Zeeland together.

Zeer ruime en goed verzorgde kamers. Wel vrij warm in de zomer en geen ventilator of airconditioning.
Goed met de auto bereikbare plaats, maar te ver aan de rand van Goes om 's avonds naar het centrum te wandelen. Prima ontbijt en faciliteiten.

Renovated rooms are spacious and tidy. Only a little dark clean. Great breakfast. Friendlier. Service. And to wheelchair fair. We will definitely be back.

A good hotel in Zeeland in the south of Netherland near the border with Belgium, good rooms, food varieties, you can rent a bike to go shopping at city center for 7 Euros only, also they afford a lunch box to take with u in case you would go back after launch hours, sometimes I had to travel early in the morning to France and the hotel opens the restaurant at 5 AM to have my breakfast before traveling.
Very very nice place and staff is so professional.

I am very disappointed with this hotel. Everything went really well in preparation. Great customer service, I was asked how our group wants to pay for the food on the first night, all right. At dinner, the service staff were unfortunately not able to separate the bill, you just got eight bons (group of 11 people), and could choose which one to pay. At the subsequent visit to the bar each order was commented that we made the wrong choice that would and would not taste .. at 12 o'clock we were barbecued from the bar, but on Saturday you can stay until 1 o'clock. After several drinks on the Saturday evening on the terrace we wanted to change then at 23.30 clock in the warm, where we were then thrown out of the bar, because you should call it a day, if no guest is there. It was warm, the people were sitting outside! There was nothing to drink! How paid with eleven people just under the 3,000 euros for two nights, ate and drank, that's a joke! I can not recommend the van der Valk Hotel in Goes after these experiences for private travel.

I slept there from Wednesday night to Thursday. Well slept well! Room 113, a lot of passage through the hall and noise. I should have slept better in the hall or somewhere under the bridge. Room price 129 without breakfast! For this money it can be better.

Great experience with the buffet package, very well taken into account various food intolerances. including gluten free, nuts, egg and lactose free was all no problem. Gluten-free sandwiches were specially baked. Even a portion of carpaccio was prepared separately without cheese and pine nuts. The dessert was also great, instead of ice cream, a cherry sorbet with fresh fruits was made separately :-)
