Van der Valk Goes Review

What should have been a party turned into a nightmare by very rude staff (not all)

We come here (quite) often. Because the food here is superb and especially the buffet. The service also great, they do everything to make you happy. The children also find it wonderful that you can tackle yourself. We always go for the delicious buffet with various dressings, soups, carpaccio, smoked salmon, shrimp, trout, eel, etc. etc. Hot dishes with meat, fish, prawns etc. that can make grilling or stir-fried. In addition, a dessert buffet with a wide selection of cakes, pastries, ice cream, chocolate fondue and fruit and various cheeses and nuts. Too many to mention. You can also grab the tea, coffee and hot chocolate from the buffet. Mmm I get hungry again ....

Nice rooms, friendly staff, ample parking, good food, good atmosphere, good service, cleanliness is a high priority

The hotel is very centrally located near Goes in the middle of Zealand. The breakfast is very Dutch, so there is a lot to eat and you can extensively and long breakfast. The rooms and the whole hotel are very clean, the whole staff was very friendly and helpful. The highway nearby you can hear little traffic. Especially the evening buff is recommended and the restaurant is very good food. The shells are very good and there is, if you want, free refill once. The hotel was good and we would always spend our short break there.

It is a good alternative if VdV Middelburg is too far or too expensive. A prime location, but it would be cool if the interior were given a facelift. The food is also very good.

Delicious eaten. Live cooking. Steak and fish on the green egg. Raw buffet for the wok. Very extensive hot buffet. But also extensive before and desserts buffet, coffee and tea. Everything fine.

The Christmas dinner in buffet form was again excellent. Well cared for and friendly service. Just like every year

I can only judge the lunchroom / bar but that was really great. A great place to work but also to have lunch. Delicious dish for a very friendly price.

Het is een gemiddeld hotel en restaurant. Kamers zijn netjes en sanitair lijkt nieuw. Helaas lijkt het bubbelbad op de foto's van de website een stuk groter. Het is maar een eenpersoonsbad! Uitzicht op parkeerplaats en snelweg was ook niet heel bijzonder.

Restaurant kon je prima eten. Uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet en goed als cart diner. Vlees was wel te lang doorgebakken helaas.

Great hotel. Good meals neatly cared for. Very clean. Especially nice and smooth service. Worth 10.

It's not a boutique hotel but it's very comfortable and modern. Good restaurant. The terrace is nice

Best stay ever, plus the effort that all employees do for you is ab nor times. Plus the nicest receptionists !!

Today enjoyed the lunch buffet. Was very good and plentiful. Also positive that our dog was allowed. It is in a separate room, but it was wonderfully quiet.

Nice breakfast, decent room (even for the budgetroom a large shower and a large tv). Even though on the map it doesn't look like it, still quietly situated.

Outdated hotel, food is good but a mix of fresh food and probably frozen food, nice rooms that can require maintenance (one light not working). Overall ok experience with a little more attention the experience could be great.

From August 22 to August 24, we stayed at van der Valk in Goes.
Fantastic days, nice big room, great food.
And above all, what a friendly staff. Always ready for you.
We really felt at home at van der Valk. Very customer friendly.

Great brunch location! Food was good and the welcome was well arranged

Not up to what we are used to in Van Der Valk Hotels. Large suite a little tired. Beautiful terrace overlooking the highway with the noise that goes with it. Lawn tractor in action under your windows from 7:30 in the morning. Good dinner (helpful and friendly staff). Good breakfast but unfriendly staff - not the same team as the day before. No shelter for bikes. We will not go back even if the stay was pleasant to two.

Gezellig valkhotel, supervriendelijk en attent personeel. Goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding,
wij hadden kamer 232, met balkon,rustig gelegen en mooi tuinzicht. Grote kamers.
Lekker en zeer uitgebreid ontbijt.

Was looking for a Van der Valk hotel in Zeeland and according to the website Middelburg was full. So Goes done. Everything looked very neat and tidy, as you can expect from a Van der Valk hotel. It was outside around 22 degrees and quite warm in the room, unfortunately there was no air conditioning in the room ...
The terrace was nice and quiet, nice to eat outside.

Very solid and well-kept hotel, highly recommended.

Perfect room live cooking was compared to Hengelo Apeldoorn less staff was great all in all quite nice.

great hotel, slept well, just before we received a message from the hotel that there would be a wedding party. yet we have not had any problems with this, slept well and had a good meal in the morning at breakfast, definitely worth repeating
