The food is always good and fresh. So many good choices. And the staff is the best! The owner is kind and nice to chit chat with. It's always nice to visit!

Great sandwiches and salads. Very reasonable prices and excellent staff. I recommend phoning ahead and skipping the lines!

French toast with strawberry... Delicious! Staff is friendly! Good to feel welcome at a place so early as breakfast.

Had a traditional italian and...... IT WAS AMAZING. SO MUCH MEAT SO MUCH SAUCE it was amazing. By far the best and yes they use Boars Head.

Good deli, very busy due to be across from train station. Alex, Josue, Eric and Lety make you feel at home. Great food at lunch time.

Use to be our favorite deli here at work. Recently all my coworkers and I have stopped going due to the chicken cutlets being super dry and rubbery. Let me know when you guys get this fixed

The place was awesome the I'm a sphere was great. I like how the staff was able to guide me with what I would like since you have a lot of different options to choose.

Food was good. Different varieties of sandwiches to choose from or you can make your own. Good plce for a quick bite.

The selection here is crazy. Something for everyone. The menu is almost intimidating. But if you take a step back told see a few that may become your favorites. Plenty of drink and chip choices along with coffee tea and other assorted snack items. Fast service as well. Plus everything smells wonderful and looks fresh.

Breakfast or lunch, one of the best delis in the area. They have a ton of sandwich choices, or you can make your own.

I ordered small tray of assorted wraps. It was enough to feed an army, delicious! Staff was easy to work with, pricing good.

I have a lot of experience with the food business and this Deli disappointed me because of its quality specifically not to mention the service was not inviting so to speak. So I ordered a #29 for lunch today which is one my favorites, a California grilled chicken sandwich. Long story short it was gross, the grilled chicken was already hardening (No the sandwich wasnt heated) and from my experience working in a deli this was far from fresh and almost seemed not edible. The chicken was starting to turn that brown opaque color, you know like when you leave chicken out from the night before. A friend that joined me got the same sandwich with breaded chicken instead fortunately enough for him, but still he thought the avocado was not fresh to add. I do not tend to complain to these businesses bc ive noticed usually the staff could care less. So I prefer to take it to the web where my review will be heard and save someone else from paying $9 for a wedge that was less the mediocre. I'm disappointed they serve food like this and strongly believe they need to take some quality control measures.

Sandwiches are staple food in New York and this Deli definitely knows how to make them. The place definitely needs some renovations but the quality of the food is very good and the coffee is fresh.

Incredible place and amazing location by the train station. Kind employees and amazing service and clean store. The bacon egg and cheese is easily the best I've had in my life and best in New York hands down. Their bread and rolls are phenomenal and they are very generous with the egg and bacon on the sandwich. Trust me. Best ever.

In my opinion, best deli in area although delis in area are quite lacking. Unfortunately Pat's deli is taking all the business even though it is not an improvement in taste.

If you like a cheap sandwich for $8.00 you'll love this place! It's a typical NY deli, unlike the old days when you got a real sandwich.
you get a pile of shredded lettuce with paper thin tomatoes and a single paper thin slice of cheese. A few slices of meat piled into the middle of the roll.
You get about $2,50 worth of food for $7.00!
Hasn't gotten much better in 3 months since I posted the above review. It depends greatly on who makes the sandwich for you. If it's the young lady she's good! They do have a good store made roast beef.
Update !! They have their act together now. They seem to be running on all cylinders. The last year and a half the sandwiches have been spot on. He has a very good team of workers that know what they are doing and they all work together very well. The roast beef is really to die for. Perfectly rare and taste sooooo good. On a roll with a little extra mayo .... perfect.

I really enjoy coming to the Viking Deli! My school cafeteria wraps are so small they are not even good for a mouse! I come to Viking Deli because the quality of their food is amazing and reasonably priced!I order my wraps from Viking Deli and they are very delicious and satisfying! The staff is always very nice! Highly recommend coming here !
