This is the most naturally beautiful resort that my wife and I have ever stayed in...From our seamless and relaxing check-in with Maribel at the Front Desk, everthing was seamless and relaxing.
Jorge at La Marche was the best in the world when it came to being a great person with great service. He deserves the world of kindness and praisebecause he made my wife and I feel like we were royalty the entire time.
I would highly recommend this resort to anyone of any age looking for paradise on Earth.

What an amazing place!! Me and my boyfriend spent three nights here and everything was just perfect. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, they take care of every little detail and are always willing to help with anything you need. Rooms are beautiful, spacious, and they clean them twice at day. The beach is gorgeous, drinks are nice and food is AMAZING. We fell in love with this place, so cool for LGBT couples and single visitors, we can't wait to come back!!

We just returned from a Week long vacation for our 32nd anniversary.
We had the best time. The resort was super clean, everyone in masks and safe shields. Lots of hand sanitizer and they were constantly cleaning everything. The food was AMAZING!!!
The staff was so friendly and helpful. Our room was super nice and the air worked great. So did the WiFi.
We can t wait to return in February. Wish I could give them 10 stars they deserve it.

This was our 5th trip and it gets better every time. Seriously the best pool in Riviera Maya. The food is 5 star quality.

The excellent service, the very spacious rooms, the ambience in the pool and activities seemed very complete, the beach is very pretty, the only thing I could complain about is that you should ask for a bigger room to lie right next to the bed the pool was very strange

We had a wonderful time at this resort. Nice beach where angel fish swarm you for the possibility of a snack. Restaurants are wonderful. We especially enjoyed the French, Japanese, and Mexican restaurants. Shows are great for a stand-alone resort. Rooms have great AC and included room service. No food at the beach or pools, and waits at restaurants can be long unless you go early or late. But we'd definitely go back!

It's a beautiful place, but everything feels like a scam. Cheapest massage at the spa is $175 US dollars, it's 30 min from playa del Carmen so it's like $20/person to get there and back, food has been ok but the only dinner offerings are very formal or room service. Breakfast and lunch are buffets but there isn't fast turnover so stuff get dried out. All the drinks are SUPER strong. Great place if you want to spend a lot + spend more once you're already here, but we probably won't come back. All the guests are either Honeymooners (like us) who didn't know what we signed up for, or old people. Gets kinda lonely, wish they offered shared seating at meals where they put you with another couple so you can get to know more people.

The service was amazing along with the entertainment staff. We stayed in a basic room but was very pleased with it. Could not hear the neighbors. Dinners were great, with the only low being the Mexican.

Food is not very good. Especially lunch. Pool and rooms are good

The most amazing all inclusive we have been too. From the clean and spotless rooms, amazing food and service, beautiful and manicured grounds, numerous pools and gorgeous beach and the most lovely staff... we will return and hopefully bring friends!!!! What a great trip!! Thank you Valentin!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. EVERYTHING about this place is amazing. The GO! Team made it so much fun, they truly are an amazing team. As soon as you make eye contact with one of them BOOM instant friends. It's like you've known them your whole life. Every single staff member we came in contact with (we're social, so it was a lot) had a smile on their faces and a "Hola" . The housekeeping are on point! The grounds are on point. The food , you guessed it...on point. There is not one thing I would change about this stay. We definitely will be back for many years to come. Thank you so much for an amazing week. Special shouts to Wilberth, who keeps the grounds looking fantastic. Diana, at the Golden pool for working her butt off to keep us happy with snacks and drinks. Had a wonderful vacation here, staff was very friendly.

We just returned from 5 days in paradise!!!! Wow. I can not say enough about this resort. The service was the best I've ever seen. It's truly all inclusive. The resort is very clean and beautifully landscaped. The food is amazing and the liquor is premium. The resort is very calm and peaceful but the option to party and dance is also there. We loved the DJ. Truly can not go wrong staying here. Only wish I have is there were bigger fans for outdoor eating. It was very hot and humid. Just a fantastic place!

Valentin Imperial Maya was everything and more! We never wanted for anything! The only thing we d do differently is add a day and take a direct flight if that tells you anything

Those guests we talked to all were repeat guests and all said we set the bar high coming to Valentin Imperial Maya on our first visit to Mexico

From the time we stepped off the plane to the time we arrived at the Resort, Lomas Travels were there to greet us and immediately took over we never felt uncertain about anything. When reaching the Resort, we were overwhelmed with the grand entrance and greetings like we were the only guest. The only thing missing was Tattoo and Mr. Roarke. You would never know the Resort was at full capacity the accommodations are tucked away in the vast tropical grounds

Every night there was something to do on at the Resort - music, dancing, shows and the FOOD - was amazingly superb, vegetables and fruits all freshly prepared and EVERYWHERE! Cooking classes poolside and then the food was available and ongoing for all

Once we discovered the room service and how easy it was by simply hitting the # ONE on the phone, coffee and breakfast arrived every morning @ 7 am and removal of the dishes several hours later without requesting.

Once we discovered we could set a time for room cleaning each day by simply hitting the # ONE on the phone, we made sure we were @ the pool during that time (such a sacrifice).

We took advantage of the Spa and WOW! set the tone for the entire week.

Others wrote enough about how fantastic the resort is which is very true. Since I noticed a few low rating reviews regarding safety, I must say we had 2 laptops and +10K worth of photography gears in our room and didn't experience any problem or concern. Safe was big enough to accommodate laptop but we only used it for money and IDs.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! Every detail is designed to please and put you at your ease. Everyone smiles and greets you and seems to truly enjoy your enjoyment. I've been here twice, once for a wedding (just gorgeous and so luxurious) and again a few years later for a girls' weekend and I will definitely be back again.

This is our 4 trip to VIM and we found the priviledge staff the best we have experienced the guys at pool and the beach where great . We had 10 wonderful days look forward to next January

The hotel is in the middle of the jungle. There is a lot of vegetation and fauna. The attention is first class. The beautiful rooms and the exquisite food in its specialty and buffet restaurants.

Beautiful resort, excellent food and service. This is our second time here, we are staying for 5 days this time and have loved every minute of it

Great resort to stay at with excellent service. My only complaint which is a big one, we were bussed inland due to a hurricane and we stood in a line for 4 hours then spend 4 hours on a bus. They did give us a small care package of cheese sandwiches, banana, water etc...but not a great ending to a great start.

Exceptional stay!
Great room, great room service, super all inclusive, extra food, never need to wait in the morning or at noon, and in the evening when we had to wait we changed our restaurant.
The gardens are beautiful, the pool is great but a little noisy, we preferred the beach which is beautiful! The waiters / waitresses do an amazing job serving us up to the end of the beach ...
The staff is friendly everywhere.

Loved it! Room service was Awesome! Great buffets and service (Luis at the beach side beach side restaurant always took care of us). Did TRX with Angie every morning (AMAZING instructor). Great selection of alcohol.

Simply and in short, I can tell you a simple qualifier: spectacular and unsurpassed. The rest as they say, better to live it. Considered by customers and residents of the area as one of the 3 best hotels in the area. You have to visit it, do not hesitate.

My first visit to Mexico and then just a hotel where you have to say rather resort. For me not comparable to German high-priced hotels. This hotel has just everything and also just what many German hotels are missing ... Humanity, openness and interest in the guest without being artificial. People just look at the pictures (sry if there was a double Google Maps error maybe my pictures are already online) this is THE PARADISE !!!!

Absolutely horrific customer service, especially towards gay people. They don't know how to offer anything close to 5-star experience, especially when it comes to gay patrons. Every excuse in the book and still can't even deliver on promises after taking to upper management. All people should reconside their resort when coming to Cancun and considering a 5-star facility - go someplace with a respectable dress code that offers air conditioning across their indoor facilities. For gays, find a place more gay friendly who doesn't discriminate...

Amazing food, service, and amenities! My wife has to eat gluten free and their attention to detail was almost impeccable! Noemi at the buffet went way above and beyond to take care of my wife's meals! We did a tour day off site and she had breakfast ready before we arrived and gluten free boxes lunches ready to go. We'll be back again and again!

I just returned from a vacation at VIRM and it was amazing!! The grounds were beautiful. I felt like i was in a tropical paradise. The rooms were spacious and beds were so comfortable. The food was delicious wherever we ate. The staff was always friendly and helpful. I will definitely return. The ocean was a bit rough during our stay but the water was a perfect temperature. I loved the pool and swim up bar and blue floaties. Only negative was smokers around pool and seats being saved on beach with no people using them. Overall it was a wonderful vacation and i would recommend VIRM to anyone and i will go back!

Only thing to say is excellent from start to finish could not wish for more young or old you will have a great time.Loads to do if that is what you like or just sit back and in joy doing nothing.

The resort is right next to the beach. The water is really clear and you can see fish. The rooms are spacious but if you need privacy in the bathroom, forget it. There's a large see thru curtain divider at best. Service is amazing...sometimes. Other times it feels slow and disorganized, possibly just that restaurant our server. The food is pretty good. A lot of variety but that also means some stuff isn't going to be good. Overall, second day here and enjoying it.

Everything about this place is excellent, we have been here 6 times.

Very large resort. Great food, friendly service, but workers are not quite as personable as other resort I have been to. Beach closed early. We we're suckered into upgrading to emerald suite for an ocean view, but could only see palm trees from our room. Jacuzzi in room was dirty.

We were there 2/27/16 - 3/5/16 and really loved it. It is definitely the nicest all inclusive resort we have ever visited. My wife and I especially enjoyed the morning yoga class each day with Barbara. She was a wonderful teacher and made everyone feel comfortable regardless of there ability. All of the staff were extremely nice and went out of there way to make sure you had everything you needed. We would definitely go back again.

Best resort I've ever been too. Fantastic food, people, service.

Everything is absolutely fabulous here! The food and drinks are great. The pools and beach are awesome! The only reason I give it a 4 and not a 5 is because we booked a king and got put in a room with 2 double beds. And we were placed on the first floor next to the stairs and elevator so we hear everyone and everything. However, we'll be moving in a day for the rest of our stay!

Not the first time coming here, won't be the last. We've been to other resorts in the Cancun area but always seem to come back to this place. Great food, service, and the drinks are top notch. Best of all no children.

I would give it 6 stars if I could. This was our first trip and they did not disappoint. Infact this resort exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived they made us feel at home. We will definitely be returning. The rooms were perfect and comfortable. The landscape and general layout of the resort was truly breathtaking. So much to do. The only problem was we booked for 7 days and wished we had done more. I would like to personally say that Anahi, Julian (Juicy Julian), David and Angel made this trip even better, they added a personal touch. I highly recommend booking a trip here.

Welcome to paradise / Welcome home ... We spent a wonderful 10 days at the Valentin Imperial. The beach is a dream, the area was well maintained, the food and the selection of drinks are fantastic and the service was indescribably great! The evening program is varied and at a very high level. And the foam party on Sunday in the pool is an absolute must! Highly Recommended!!! We will definitely be back!

This resort is absolutely amazing! It has lush green gardens, an abundance of colorful flowers, lots of palm trees, and 3 beautiful pools! The staff are friendly and accommodating. There is a swim up bar and all of the cocktails are delicious. Feels like I'm in paradise. I highly recommend staying at the Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya Hotel!

We were there 08/39/20-09/95/20. This is an EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT place! We have been in many resorts in Cancun and the Riviera Maya and this has been the best one ever! The people are all so nice! Every employee is so, so, so, so nice! It doesn t matter what title they have, they always greet you and are very cordial. The food is amazing in all of the restaurants we ate. The food in the evening restaurant (a la cart ) are first class!! So authentic (Japanese, Mexican, French, Asian, etc). The buffet has so much of a variety to offer and if they don t have it, the chef will make if for you. I like my chilaquiles a specific way and he made them for me very morning:). The campus is so beautiful and even though the rooms are not like a hotel and the villas are not connected, everything is within walking distance. We enjoyed the music as we walked through the paths. They do have a golf car that can take you if you wish not to walk but you should be fine walking. The service everywhere is great too. Everyone is willing and ready to help in your needs. Some restaurants and activities were closed due to COVID-19 but other people who go there yearly, told us that we need to go back so we can enjoy everything and we will definitely be going back again! The only down was that we didn t get in the pool due to so much seaweed because of the tail of a Hurricane that had recently passed. The water was not turquoise like when we have gone to the Riviera Maya but this was pretty much in all of the Hotels/Resorts in the area. We have never experienced a resort like this ever! I recommend it highly!!!!!! Hope your experience will be the same.

This is five star for sure! My first all inclusive and I am so spoiled now. The staff was always cheerful and had a kind word or hello everywhere was impeccably manicured and constantly being upkept...so much fun food drink and entertainment..you will not regret the few extra dollars for the quality

Adults only resort. Immaculately kept. Rooms extremely comfortable. Nice beach.6 excellent restaurants. Staff friendly, and all the people there are too. All inclusive. I hated having to leave!

Wow! 5 star resort overall. We felt like celebrities the entire time. The staff provided friendly service throughout the resort. The maids were fantastic and cleaned our rooms so well every day. The resort also had some of the best food compared to other places I have stayed. The room service chicken fajitas are the best! My group consisted of ~25 year olds and we felt like we were the youngest at the resort, so if you're looking for a place with more younger groups maybe this isn't the place for you. But we throughly enjoyed the low-key vibe. The sports bar easily had the best bartenders who were a blast! Overall, I would return in a heart beat!!

The check in process is a little painful...the front desk staff will try to upsell you but dont fall for it. It's not worth the upgrade. The restaurants were lovely and super nice!

This all inclusive is truly worth every penny. No matter how long you are here there is plenty of variety to occupy the person who wants activities, or the one who wants to be left alone and read a book in the sun all day.

Plenty of space at the beach and pools while we were here, during busier times you might only had one or two options, but we never weren t able to find a place.

Staff is well trained and incredibly friendly. They are always looking to make your stay better any way they can.

Drinks and food are great for an all inclusive of this value. You can always ask to upgrade your Marg with reposado or anejo tequila upon request.

100% recommend! We will be coming back!

RESTAURANTS:

> La Hacienda: Recommend getting the blue tuna salad, the octopus ceviche, and the taco tasting, Ribeye, and the Pipil Pork was incredible (latter 3 pictured)
> Ginger: If you love sashimi, sit at the sushi bar and get some delicious thick cuts of Octopus, Salmon, Tuna, Squid. Ask for the special roll, too, its unreal.
> Taman Sari: The chicken satay wasn't good unfortunately. But the Braised Salmon and Smoked Duck were very tasty
> L Alsace: The Foie Gras and Escargots (if you like snails), and steak tartare were very delicious. The filet mignon and duck leg entrees were out of this world.

> Mar y Tierra: For dinner, its pretty much a steakhouse and you really can't go wrong if you love steak. We got the Ribeye there twice and the cut is nice and fatty as it should be.
> Pool Side Grill: Wow, don't miss on the grilled chicken, it has amazing flavor. Same with the grilled steak.

SERVICE:

Can't say enough great things about the staff and every single person who made us feel welcome, comfortable, and loved here at the resort. Special shout out to Lorenzo who was always entertaining pool side. We loved his energy.

ESTATE:

Heard many people talk about how difficult it is to walk the grounds here because it's too large. I would have to respectfully disagree, but we are on the younger side (31 + 25 years old). It's easy to get around and it's beautiful everywhere you go. Love the wild animals like the coatis and vast assortment of wild birds, it was like being in a sanctuary too.

ENTERTAINMENT:

Lots to do and see. We liked that this place had some younger people compared to other resorts. At night, dancing to the DJ and live band were always fun. During the day, lots of fitness activities and you can go explore some sandbars on the beach or go snorkeling for the day and see some incredible wild life.

OVERALL:

This place rocks, don't miss out. We'll definitely be going back in the future!

Loved this beautiful place! Room was nice, cleaning service great, go team staff was awesome. Great hospitality staff all around. Pools were all nice, clean and not crowded. The beach was incredible and the water picture perfect with Angel fish swimming right up to you. We were able to see baby sea turtles released that the resort hatched. Group of 11 family went together. Only negative was all of us at some point through the week had "bad" stomachs. Some worse than others. Never drink the water, only bottled.

Nice hotel. Unfortunately, even the concierge doesn't know exactly what is included in the all-inclusive package.
You have to make a reservation at a restaurant, but it's worth it! The remaining restaurants can be visited without a reservation.
Fortunately, at no point does the feeling of a classic all-inclusive vacation arise!

Top notch amenities, fantastic service, delicious food, and everyone that works here is professional and very friendly and interested in making our stay an excellent exceptional time
