It's a middle-class Asian market. You could find some of the stuff in more discreet, lesser known markets at a better price, but this place is convenient and has a good selection of produce that Safeway doesn't

Great sales each day.

Great sales each day.
Needs an entire section of bottled and canned Milk Teas to hone my inner Asian.
Lacks those red Fukujinzuke like in the Seattle location.
Has Hawaiian food in the frozen seafood section (e.g. Zippy s Chili).
Poke on the far left as you enter bldg as good as Hawaii poke!
Awesome hot deli; cold items go on sale after 7pm.
Buy the mini mochi close to the ice cream aisle on the far side close to the bathrooms!

I almost find everything I need when I shop the Renton Uwajimaya. I shop for my elderly mom , somethings are not available in the states anymore and more items are being restricted or discontinued. So I have to say "almost" find everything I need. I have shopped the Seattle store for years and the Renton location is by far more convenient. The Renton store can also order things they don't carry from the Seattle store. So if you are looking for Asian foods and decor Uwajimaya is great place to shop!

Best Asian market I have been to in America! I used to live in Japan and I missed many foods moving back to the states. But I was pleasantly surprised by the food availability and found many of the same products I used to find in Japan. The staff are very nice. Also, I was very excited to see all of the pottery on sale!

This uwajimaya is awesome-they have great variety, and produce you would not find in your typical supermarket. Really huge selection of sake, and they have lots of interesting snacks as well as staples. They have gone above and beyond during COVID to not only enforce their mask policy, but this is the cleanest grocery I have been to, ever. I also love their spam nigiri!

So I mistakenly stumbled across this one when I was looking to see how far the original one was from my location. Very similar to the original in seattle international district. This one is a mini version of the other one and just as expensive. I went here and enjoyed half a duck with steamed rice and veggies. Super delicious and lean. The duck is always good and has a good lean yet fatty meaty flavor to it. It seems they use cloves from what I was able to taste and smell. (Very delicious ) very good amount of Asian delicacies and items if you are trying to make a certain Asian dish. Awesome place to shop at. Love going to it.

Great store! Tired of the same old same old? Just take a walk down these isles! Whole new world. First time there and easily spent an hour just browsing.. can't wait to go back! 4 stars though because the prices are a little high but not overly.

On 6/23/16 at 4:45 I asked the gentleman at the seafood counter to grab me 4 live crab and to make shure they have both their claws. He told me it would take a few minutes so I did some other shopping. When I returned he told me I picked 4 that had rubber bands on both claws to insure they had original claws. Me thinking he went above and beyond thanked him for his effort. I get home remove the crab and find out that not only did he lie to me about the claws he sold me a dead crab. You can't cook dead crabs so he pretty much stole $25 from me. 4 crabs $100 but I can only eat 3.

Convenient place to find all my favorite Asian brands and foods. Sashimi blocks are the best I've ever found anywhere. They have a nice little hot bar. Prices are very reasonable. It's not as big as the one in the International District, but it has everything I need.

I love having an Uwajimaya closer to home. It's not the same to the one in downtown Seattle, but I still love it. I love that they have hot food (so bomb!) and Oasis bubble tea here. They hold really cool events at their location as well.

I didn't know this Uwajimaya existed for the longest time, which I regret. But once I discovered it, this has become my favorite one. There is a lot of free parking and an Oasis located inside. Plus they have the best poke selection, much better than the Chinatown location. They also have a hot deli section, gift shop area and fresh seafood. Items are a little overpriced but this is the only place you can find authentic Japanese groceries.

The store was still restocking when I arrived around 9:15 am so the selection was limited. Everyone shopping wore their masks. The food court area was also not ready @ this time. The seafood area also had limited choices today. It was not very crowded.

I got some food from the deli and while it was delicious and filling, it was kind of pricey. I also got boba from Oasis, which is near the cash registers. My drink was delicious and was ready within a few minutes. Lots of interesting products to choose from.
