Wide variety of fresh foods packed food and meats. Bubble tea, and Japanese bbq, fresh and ready to go.

The store was quiet as I went in at 8 AM for the early senior shopping. The store was pretty well stocked except for a few essentials, like butter, some meats. They were not serving hot foods and they were out of guava cake. I'll have to make it myself. The staff at this location is friendly.

Good quality and friendly staff. Prices can be a bid high on some things though.

Delicious assortment of Asian food along with a great giftware section. It might be nice if the bakery section had a bit more like the Uwajimaya in the International District but it is still really good.

Great store. Store has gotten a little worn since it opened but it's nice not to have to go all the way into Seattle or Bellevue for Uwajimaya. I'm glad i know how to read Japanese or it would take me for ever to find stuff.

Only place in the area to get Hawaiian Sun. Great store, well stocked, knowledgeable staff, and a good atmosphere. Also a good place to find chopsticks and bulk rice.

I like this store because they have Japanese products. And I don't know why but Japanese things tend to be of a high quality. They taste good, the function good, they're clean, they're cute. If you are out of ideas, come here and shop!

Uwajimaya's price becomes competitive as other Asian grocery. It means cheaper than before for the quality.

It is good but don't expect anything like the size and variety of the one in the international district.

Although the smaller sibling compared to the Seattle and Bellevue location, I still enjoy shopping at this Uwajimaya. Store is clean and great customer service every time i visit. The only thing would be sometimes my favorite items are out of stock (obviously not only my favorite items), but I mainly shop there not for things I need, but to pick up stuff they have or to try something new.

They carry reasonably priced sashimi grade fish. Great prices on pantry staples.

Later in the day you can occasionally get $1- $2 off food in the prepackaged fresh cooked food area.

They always have what I need & more & always have unlimited items too so I stock up on those items have hard to find items they have available here. I've only been to the one downtown 1x but I like the Renton one better

So far, this is the best Asian Mart yet. They got Poke and Cake from Cakes from Paradise!

Love this store. Great quality produce and meats. Amazing selection of snacks and groceries. Just wish the poke counter made more on a daily basis as they are consistently nearly/completely sold out by 5pm making it hard to grab some of their delicious poke for dinner.

Solid Japanese supermarket. Not as nice as the one located in the international district in downtown Seattle but still offers the bulk of the produce and Asian dry goods. Meats are decent. Never really ventured to try any of the seafood here as I feel you d greet higher quality elsewhere. The bonus is there is an Oasis Bubble Tea station inside this location.

The Renton Uwajimaya is the cute, smaller version of the large one in ID, and it's much closer to home! They still have a great selection of products, all without the hassle of parking and dealing with hordes of people.

This is my absolute favourite place in all of Renton

They have all what you need in oriental foods and things. I just wish their prices were cheaper.

I'm sad I can't find the custard like filled Taiyaki that we had in Japan. So I bought a mold and am attempting them myself. I love Uwa! Have so many rare and odd ingredients and snacks. Thank you for expanding further South

Excellent selection of all sorts of Asian foods. Helpful staff. I particularly like the hot food.

Grab your favorite Asian recipe, make an ingredients list and go. You'll find everything there. Prepare to pay a little more for each item. It's pricey.

Poke bar makes this the best Japanese grocery store around!

I love Uwajimaya. This one is smaller than the one in china town/Seattle however it has just about all of the same offerings. They have oasis tea located inside so u can order bubble tea if u want while shopping. They have a small baked goods type area next to the hot deli and produce. On the opposite end there are Korean and Japanese beauty products, housewares and more as well as fresh/live seafood and meat. In the middle you will find frozen foods and things of that nature. My oldest daughter is studying Chinese and is very interested in Chinese, Japanese and Korean culture. I love to bring her random things home to try. The prices are on the high end but this place is a lot of fun and you will find what you need for sure.

Vast selection of fresh, frozen and canned Asian food products. In store Asian style deli with sushi and noodle dishes. Store always clean. Staff helpful.

Not as big as the one in Seattle but still pretty awesome. Got some of my favorite snacks and some good sake.

I love this Store. They have the best Produce and readymade Sushi. The Seafood is great too! Friendly & fast checkout too.

My go-to grocery store if I'm trying out a recipe from Cooking With Dog's brilliant Chef or I just want a cold noodle salad and a boba tea. High quality staples (they carry Smith Bro's dairy products!!) and always new things to try

Five stars, everything the local grocery chains don't carry. Brands I cant pronounce. Make your favorite dishes at home. Or stop by there hot food counter, its already made.

Love this grocery. Great selection of hot and cold foods. They frequently have good sales on Hawaiian snacks and chocolates.

Amazing cooked food (and Sashimi) made daily and tons of home food selections.

Always a classic. Found what I wanted and more. Picked up breaded oysters ready to go from the fresh/frozen seafood section. Who has that??? Uwajimaia...cannot wait to try them in my air fryer. I went for Ginger...found it! Also caught the tail end of the Seahawk game with some other shoppers. It made me feel like I was a regular. Scoped out their deli and desserts/bakery area...excellent selection and super clean. Classic Seattle Institution, made me...a native, super proud. I Love the Northwest and the cultural iconic-ness of this Seattle classic now serving Renton. Watch out Trader Joe's and Whole Foods, this is stiff competition. I will return! I got my rice candy and played pokemon under the dragon too! I love my hometown.

Love not having to not go into Seattle to shop. I grew up going to the Seattle store as a young child with my parents, and we lived in Lakewood. The Renton store carries most of the items I generally need...The fish and deli departments are great!

Great selection of fresh seafood. If you like fresh oysters this is the place to get them. Much cheaper than the Taylor's. Also like to come here to grab a quick lunch. They have prepared Asian food for to go. Also have Oasis, bubble tea place inside.

All your asian food needs in one location. Lots to look at with all sorts of imported goods and trinkets. Fish so fresh its still swimming in the tank. They specialize in seafoods. Staff very knowledgeable. And the deli has amazing dishes available every day.

Clean place to get live seafood. The cantonese roasted pork are good.... Beware of MSG in the cooked food if you are allergic yo it.

I love the great selection of Asian food and products.This is one of my favorite stores with great staff like Nathan (Deli Dept.) and Lily (cashier) who are friendly, professional and kind.

Got what we went to buy, only place I can get! Other stuff are bit pricey but I guess convenience cost too!
