We d I d not participate in any activities. The museum is informative. Cool to see an Olympic Gold Medal up close. Fun watching skiers fly on the training slopes into the pool. A bit warm but there was ample shade to watch.

My family decided to head there for a small vacation before I left for college. I was genuinely interested in the place as I enjoy watching the Olympics and come on, they have a giant extreme tubing hill!! As the hours dragged on it became apparent that it wasn't all I was hoping it would be. The tubing was fun but required a hike each time. 5 minutes isn't bad but when you just want to relax and have fun, and you have to hike a hill everytime you want to ride down it definitely detracts from the fun. In the end the high ropes course and some free jumping redeemed the day but it's a lot of money for what you get. Not to mention a lot of the stuff (bobsledding, zip line tour) all cost extra on top of your $70 ticket. If you really have the urge then by all means go but if you're not willing to do some hiking and pay $100 for extra attractions don't bother.

Great place to visit. Every modern child should go through this experience to realize that there is a world outside the 5" touchscreen.
Great events and shows, most of the below posted views can be seen for free. The bobsled and the Ziptour are definitely worth the additional charge.

Great visit to see a lot of Olympic history (obviously!) I would highly recommend you go after May 20th, because the only thing open before then is the Museum's and a little guided tour. The Tour guide Deani was great. Very informative and cheery attitude made her very pleasant to spend time with...

We purchased Jumpside passes that were good for unlimited use of the Alpine Slide, tubing and zip-line...for 2 hours. We spent 40 mins just waiting in line for the Alpine Slide. The zip-line from start to finish took 1 hour. We were very frustrated as the "unlimited" 2 hours was spent waiting in line. They were not very efficient with getting people through the attractions. The chairlift moved at a snail's pace! They had four zip-line cables, but only used two. Randomly, you'd see four come down the Zip-line at a time. Why not do that always to move more people through? The Alpine slide was frustrating with people going down sporadically (every 20 minutes or so) at one moment and then a cluster the next. Maybe a punch pass or at least 4 hour unlimited would be more fair. We left feeling frustrated and disappointed. We didn't even bother with the museum.

There's a neat museum from the 2002 games here and a number of outrageously-priced attractions that are really quite fun besides the hefty price tag. It has neat facilities and is worth a visit.

We saw a bunch of skiers doing flips into the pool and it was outstanding. We were there in the late morning. It seemed to be the best time.oat did simple flips and spins, but some did some amazing twisting tricks of of huge jumps into the pool. It was a huge surprise and the best part of our trip.

We had a great time going down the ski hills on tubes and zip-lines. Tons of fun for older kids and young adults. It would be a great date spot.
On top of that Utah fosters one of the best Olympic athlete communities in the world. We have visitors come here from all over preparing for the next winter games.
Whether you are looking to have some fun or become elite this is a great place to do it.

A complete waste of time. 1 hour and 20 minutes into it and we had finally made it to the second ride. Don t waste your time and money. The staff is extremely unhappy to be there minus the nice girl and boy on the extreme tube hill.

Our first time to do the activities and all was good. They weren't very helpful in the direction of how to get started but we figured it out. The zip tour was over an hour so we didn't do that but allow for at least a few hours if you were wanting to do everything else. There was little to no wait Monday afternoon mid July.

Really great place! The museum is free and it was super fun to watch the skiers practicing in the pool. There's more programs if you are a local that you can do but for someone just passing through park city this place was worth it. Learned a lot about the history of skiing, Park City, and about the 2002 olympics

Cool place to stop by for a visit on a down day from the slopes or if the weather sucks. The have some cool Olympic memorabilia, skiing and snowboarding outfits from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. You can also pay to ride a bobsled, as a passenger, not the driver.

I've been to Park City a few times, but somehow always missed this awesome park and museum...thankfully we had an hour to kill before our flight so we stopped in this (FREE!) little gem :)

After parking, you'll have a nice view of the bobsled track and freestyle practice area. We were lucky enough to catch a youth ski team practice here - it was pretty cool to see these little kids nailing huge jumps and diving right back into a series of moguls!

Indoors, the museum's first floor is dedicated to the sport of skiing, with a mixture of pioneers of the sport, famous athletes, and the science of snow (and avalanches). There were plenty of hands-on exhibits and even a virtual ski simulator to keep everyone engaged. The second floor is dedicated to the 2002 SLC Winter Olympics, and is loaded with molds of the various medals, skis used, torch relay pictures, and lots of videos, including the opening ceremonies. There's a souvenir and snack stand with tables overlooking the outside park elements.

Even if it had a paid admission, I'd still say the quality and uniqueness of the indoor museum warrants a visit and a five-star review. The free admission is the icing on the cake however, and well worth an hour or two of your visit to the Park City area!

This is a great place to visit. The park is very clean and they have plenty of things including a museum for free. You have to pay to do the ziplines and chairlifts but overall a great place.

Ropes courses and drop tower are Awesome! We came in the spring when the weather is nice and there are virtually no lines. Great for those who are only a little brave, and fun for the adrenaline junkies. If you want to do more than two activities then you save money by getting a day pass. our family enjoyed doing all three courses and the drop tower.

About Utah Olympic Oval

Utah Olympic Oval: A World-Class Venue for Winter Sports Enthusiasts

The Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation is a non-profit organization that manages and maintains the world-renowned Utah Olympic Oval in Park City, Utah. The facility was built for the 2002 Winter Olympics and has since become a hub for winter sports enthusiasts from around the world.

The oval is an impressive 400-meter speed skating track that has hosted numerous international competitions, including the World Single Distance Championships and the U.S. Speed Skating Championships. It's also home to several local clubs and teams who use it as their training ground.

But speed skating isn't the only sport you can enjoy at the Utah Olympic Oval. The facility also offers public ice skating sessions, figure skating lessons, curling clinics, hockey games, and more. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or just looking for some family fun on the ice, there's something for everyone at this world-class venue.

One of the unique features of the Utah Olympic Oval is its altitude. At an elevation of over 6,000 feet above sea level, it's one of the highest indoor tracks in North America. This makes it an ideal location for athletes who want to train at high altitude to improve their endurance and performance.

In addition to its impressive facilities, the Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation is committed to providing visitors with an authentic Winter Olympics experience. They offer guided tours of both Park City venues used during the 2002 Games –the oval itself as well as nearby ski jumps– where visitors can learn about what goes into hosting such a massive event while taking in breathtaking views of Park City’s mountainous landscape.

The foundation also hosts events throughout each year that celebrate winter sports culture while raising funds to support their mission: "to inspire people of all ages through sport." These events include everything from charity runs on snowshoes or cross-country skis (depending on snow conditions) to outdoor concerts featuring local musicians.

If you're planning a trip to Park City or simply looking for something new and exciting to do this winter season –look no further than Utah Olympic Oval! With its state-of-the-art facilities and commitment to promoting winter sports culture worldwide through education programs & community outreach initiatives alike–it truly stands out among other venues across North America when it comes down not only quality but authenticity too!
