A most go if you are in the area. Amazing tasty beer!!!!! The food is incredible too!! Try the scallops and wings. Service is top notch!!!! Connor went above and beyond, he really made our experience.

I used to love the beer and the restaurant. Since the company was bought out the restaurant has gone down several notches. They are are also no longer selling several of my favorite beers (Baltic Porter and Very old brown dog). I was told they were too expensive to brew. Luckily there are many competitive breweries in NH so this weekend was my last stop. I also just crossed Smutty off of my store list as well.

Very good brewing company. The staff was all friendly and knew a lot about the product they were selling. This location has free tours which introduces the process on how they make the beer, the history behind Smuttynose brewing company, and the story behind their logo. The tasting room is small, but everything is very sanitary. They have a small merchandise room where you can also purchase beer to take with you. There is an outdoor area where dogs are invited and they host several events. It s hard to believe that this location is only an hour away from Boston. Across the tasting room is the restaurant where my peps and I really enjoyed their food! The customer service was great, we did not wait long at all for a table, and our waitress continued to check on us. Our glasses were always full (beer or water), and we were presented with a smile each visit. They do have some vegetarian options, so that is a big plus on my books. The parking lot is kind of small, but we did not have a problem finding parking. They even have a separate motorcycle section with more than enough room to fit a small group of riders. I recommend this place, drink responsibly!

My wife and I ordered the fish sandwich today and I wish I remembered to take a picture, but the fish was so over battered and the entire sandwich was bland as bland can be. Even the tarter sauce was bland. I did tell our waitress to tell the cook to back off on the coating so the next customers hopefully enjoy there.

Very nice brewery tour and tasting. I love how the have created a state of the art brewery that blends into the farmland surroundings. I look forward to spending more time here in the future.

Terrible service. Waitress walked by 20 times and completely avoided eye contact. Got our appetizers in and were almost done before we had a chance to order our meal. Asked for extra cheese for the salsa, it never was delivered. And when trying to pay the check, a different waitress had to take it for us, and apologized for all the waiting.
First and only time going here.

I really loved the make up of this brewery, starting from the tasting and swag shop to the beer pub across the street. I wish this place was closer to Kansas so I could visit more often. I will make sure this wasn't my last time visiting Smuttynose!

No doubt this was one of the best brewery tours I've been on. The tour guide, Ben, was very knowledgeable and lots of fun. He answered loads of questions and was quite enthusiastic about the brewery. I can't wait to see what they are able to do with their new facility.

Awesome place. Very nice facilities that have a lot of sustainable features (LEED Gold) with some great beers. The SmuttLabs has rotating beers that were all great, but limited batches. Restaurant on the campus built within an old farm house from the property.

These big breweries can often times be hit or miss but you don't want to miss this brewery on your beer travels through New Hampshire. You will really enjoy the small taproom they have set up right on the brewery floor and the service is phenomenal.

Great beers, a nice little tasting room that wasn't crowded (we had gone on a Tuesday). No tours on that day. Their flight set up is nice, in that you get one glass and you just go up for each pour, giving you time to change your mind as you try a couple. Had a solid lacto-sour and a superb brett beer, which is hard to find in the northeast.

Friendly staff and tours, good beer samples, and such a pretty building/area. I do wish their stuffed animal seals were better stitched/better quality though. Not even a month has passed by owning my stuffed seal and already his whiskers have fallen off!

Smuttynose Restaurant is slowly declining. We understand that covid has add numerous restrictions, but they are a brewery restaurant and evertime we go there are fewer and fewer beers to choose from. They have been posting on social media that they have their pumpkin ale...but its not even available. We love the location, but are very disappointed in the lack of beer selection at the restaurant. I hope they get it figured out sooner and later.

I give 2 stars for the pleasant atmosphere & friendly staff. Arrived at the Hayseed for an early dinner at 4:30pm & despite the dining room being nearly empty, the bathrooms were GROSS. Paper all over the floor & smelly. Ordered the brisket which was so fatty it was nearly inedible. Mac & cheese was flavorless. Come here for some drinks at the bar but do yourself a favor & eat somewhere else.

Smuttynose offers a fun tour with a great informative tasting at the end. A rotating selection of their beer is for sale in the gift shop too. East Coast Common is delicious but limited.

Fantastic restaurant with huge outdoor patio area for dining. Large menu with lots of great options. The burgers and wings are delicious. The appetizers are great to share while enjoying some great draft beer. Nachos, fried pickles and onion rings we enjoyed by everyone. The beer was fantastic my wife loved the IPAs and I had a fantastic sour and one of the best craft Pilsners I have ever tasted called "Iron Henry". There was also Live music from 1-4pm which put the cherry on top of our lunch family outing!

Great time at Smuttynose brewery. Tour and tasting is free, they just ask you to donate a few dollars. Also they must have changed the rules there, because Ive read some reviews on here saying that you had to do the tour to do the tasting. But when we went they said we didn't have to do the tour, so we skipped over it and went straight to the tasting. After going on so many brewery tours it gets old. If you have never done a tour before I recommend going because it is very interesting.

Used to be a HUGE fan of the Legend Brown, but it s a sell-out now. So sad that an excellent brewery blew up a fantastic beer. Jump down, turn around take the payoff. . Seriously sad as hell about the change.

Edit: Oh, oops! I was talking about Legend Brewing in Richmond. Old Brown Dog is still solid. Just don t drink it right after ///fear.movie.lions. Smuttynose stands strong. Sorry peeps stars adjusted.

Just call me Walt Whitman.

We showed up on a Thursday evening and had dinner at Hayseed (which was fantastic) then ventured to the brewery. The tasting room was open and we spent nearly an hour talking to the employees and the owner. It was a pretty cool experience.

Love the new location of this brewery. New brewery is beautiful and situated on an old farm. Great gift shop and tasting room. Other perks include the Hayseed Restaurant located in a remodeled farmhouse, and a 9 hole disc golf course. Must visit.

Gone on the tour once and eaten at the restaurant twice. Food was good on both occasions, especially the bbq on or last visit. Enjoyed the beer too, old brown dog is my favorite of theirs.

I'll admit, I'm a bit over brewery tours, but Smuttynose is a great place for first time visitors, or bitter veterans like myself. The tour is excellent, a good balance of useful information and whimsical details about the property and company. The beers are excellent and the tasting room normally has some snacks so the high gravity stuff doesn't go right to your head.

ProTip: Buy your tasting card before the tour to avoid the requisite line afterwards.

I knew I enjoyed the beer, but visiting the facility took it to a new level. I was able to try beers I hadn't had before. The Baltic Porter and Scotch Ale were amazing! They also have beautiful grounds, with Frisbee golf and other games on site and a beautiful restaurant. Most important for me, they have dedicated themselves to sustainable production, reusing heat, water and leftover grains. Amazing place, if you like beer, check it out!

Took my daughter, her fiance and my wife on a Friday night. Booked a table using the online system. There was live music, tables outside were spaced well apart. They did not have flights, but our server brought small cups for us to make our own. Beer and food was great and everyone agreed it was a awesome night out.

Great brewery! They have a nice menu of beers that constantly rotate, so there's always something new to try. The tasting room is a great time and very inexpensive. There's a foosball table in there as well in case you need a break between trying great beers.

They also offer tours of the brewery and have a gift shop in the front.

Your tasting room card also gets you a $3 beer across the street!

Only an hour from Boston...Beautiful facility, very friendly staff, and seriously great beers! Added bonuses: Resturant on sight, 9-hole disc golf course, and free tours. So many fun events in the Spring&Summer months!

The brewery tour is exactly what it should be: Short enough to keep interest but complete enough to explain the process and why their process is different and better. The tour includes a tasting of 4 of the beers they are serving. The night we were there, they had 8 beers on tap, so the two of us could get 4 each and taste them all. I do wish there was a little guidance in an order, but we found several we liked and bought to bring home. Love the spicy Baja Hoodie was our favorite.

Bourbon fried pickles were bomb! We were lucky to get a high top for Labor Day and it was so fun being able to bring the pup with us to enjoy some brews and great music.
They have these cool fire pit seats that I am curious about reserving for next time

We loved the setting, the restaurant on the property, the tour and samplings, their line of beers and merchandise. We were travelling through New England, coming down from Maine headed to CT and stopped on our way. We were glad we did, a nice experience.

Stopped in to see what's new. I tried some new and some old favorites. I wanted to get tickets for the event this weekend, but sadly they never set it up so you can buy tickets there. Maybe we'll see if they have tickets at the event ... It's just weird when a company makes it hard to be a customer.

To start, got seated at a dirty table.
Waited 25 minutes before we got up and left.
Several wait staff just playing with their phones walking by not one said " be right with you" they all had that look of "that's not my table". We tried the SN up in Laconia and that was just disgusting. Food was under cooked and the beer tasted like chilled hotdog water.
So we wanted to give it another try at a different location.
Same exact experience.
Extremely disappointing!
I'd give you negative -5 stars if possible.
I went on the Bud brewery tour a few weeks ago.
Maybe you should do a managment field trip there and see how to run a brewery and a bar.
Two try's and a total of 9 people will most likely never walk in or refer your place of business to anyone they actually like.
At least you consistently suck.
