Good gig, nice theater with very good acoustics. Staff very polite and in lovely Edinburgh. Will definitely come again.
Gorgeous building, excellent kind and helpful staff and fair prices at the bar (for Edinburgh!)
My favourite concert hall in Scotland. Sounds beautiful and very grand!
Didn't know the seats in the upper circle would be so uncomfortable, but great views of the stage.
Nice concert venue, not too crowded, easily entered and vacated, small queue for cloak room.
This is a really nice venue. Comfortable seats, good acoustics and a nice bar.
Have been to Usher hall a number of times. All concerts have been excellent, while the venue itself is quite impressive. One minor thing, is that the cheapest seats have wooden backs and they are not the most comfortable in the world over a longer period of time
Amazing venue for all kinds of shows.. acoustics are awesome
Excellent venue ,saw Tom Odell ,great sound ,great show
Enjoyed a concert here. Rachmaninov's 3rd Piano Concerto, Tchaikovsky 's 4th Symphony and Khakaturian Suite. The Russian orchestra were fabulous as was the pianist. Sunday afternoon concerts are great. Huge variety of artists and music. Refreshments available during the interval. Book up for the RSNO Season and Edinburgh International Festival 2018!
Amazing Experience Staff Where Outstanding and So Helpful And They Where There When Needed Them At All Times Very Happy How They Treated My Desabled Mum and Sister
Beautiful concert hall showcasing current artists in the centre of this beautiful city
Auditorium very good afternoon refurb Staff excellent. Down side remoteness of toilets in basement area. All in all a good experience
Great venue, but the sound is extremely muddy on the upper level on metal/rock concerts
Lovely building which is well maintained. Easy to find your way around due to clear and plentiful signage. The staff were welcoming and friendly. There are lots of restrooms which means no long queues no matter how busy it gets. The sound and atmosphere in the theatre were great.
Great sound, comfortable seating, great range of concerts .
Went for my daughtes graduation nice place great location
Cracking old building...sloped floor in the standing area down towards the stage giving those at the rear a slightly elevated view...the stalls curved in an arc around the top give an outstanding view and also give the impression of being really close to the stage
Great venue. Extraordinarily expensive drinks though...
Shame that seating area can be hampered by those standing down the front who are tall and have big heads!
Truly a great space. I saw Pink Floyd here back in the day and Swan Lake, girlfriends choice but I did enjoy. I am not an opera fan but have shed tears to an opera singer who was a guest appearance during a classical concert.
World class concert hall with a varied programme of concerts and events throughout the year.
You can often find very reasonable last minute tickets - phone the helpful people at the box office to find out.
Most definitely include it in your plans if you're visiting Edinburgh.
GREAT VENUE AUSTRALIAN PINK FLOYD PLAYING 2ND NOV REALY HOOD SEATING LOTS OF LEG ROOM ACCOUSTICS REALY GOOD ALL IN ALL A GREAT NIGHT
The room is old and very beautiful, with good acoustics, we went to a music concert
Beautiful hall, great performance by the Performing Arts team!
Went to see the RSNO do the music of Harry Potter. Amazing concert.
Sat in the upper circle this evening to watch a concert. The most uncomfortable seating I have ever sat in with so little leg room. Just awful.
There on sat to see twilight sad gtmreat place for a gig and the guy at the door called bob was brilliant arranged for my wife to go on the disabilty platform which meant she could enjoy the concert bob is a credit to your venue
Beautiful. Always feels like a special occasion coming here.
Very interesting concert from Iceland Symphonic Orchestra. Will return for more.
Wonderful Snowman concert. An amazing experience especially for the kids.
Good venue for Christmas concert but felt a bit cold. Acoustics seemed very good.
Been here a few times to see various things, Billy Connolly and a few bands but most recently we went to see the Goonies with a live concert. It was fabulous, staff were attentive and informative and the event was well run.
Amazing music venue. Great acts. Beautiful building
Got tested here after a classmate got sick, and also had another test down in London some time later (both negative, thankfully). Level of cleanliness, guidance, and social distancing at this facility was MUCH better here. Scotland seems to be handling every aspect of the pandemic very well
Nice enough wee place. Went to see festival of the dead. Great atmosphere was really busy so queues were long but staff tried there best to serve everyone asap. Would recommend seeing anything here
Superb venue for concerts & other live things great place...
maniacs at the usher hall what more can you ask for
Excellent theatre venue, no bad seats and the sound is brilliant.
Friendly staff. However the top tier is very tightly packed in, no room to move once seated. Typical of older theatres.
Went to an Easter concert organised by Origin. Was very uplifting.
Was in a cub for buzz over 50 min.... Need to work on staff.... Poor service
Bit of a crush in the standing area. Great place for a concert though
A very nice theater where you can see good concerts
My sister and I travelled up from Kent to spend a few days in Edinburgh and see Anastacia at the usher hall. The venue was in a great location and the staff were friendly. Security was tight which made you feel safe after the events in Manchester. Had the best time.
Fantastic venue, great staff. Refit has improved accessibility no end
It is great concert hall and is an ideal size for most musical performances including symphony orchestras and choruses. It has a good reputation for acoustics and it has a very imposing classical style interior.
A great venue for music and speakers. Almost cosy. I have never felt a million miles away from the stage and would much rather see an act here than any larger venue.
Awful customer service. Smelly bathrooms and no facility to leave your bags and coat whilst at the concert !! Dreadful !!
A great venue for concerts, though I was disappointed with the over zealous security removing drinks etc from the patrons especially as the prices inside were extortionate.
The upper circle seats are way too small for a tall person.
Usher Hall is great venue with good acoustics and a good place to enjoy music . We saw Joan Armatrading and she held us all spellbound and it was just her on stage. Toilets plentiful but long walk from stalls.
Son's graduation held here. Was very up to the task.
It has been a good planning strategy by the Usher Hall management, when they introduced to their scheduling, Concerts on Sunday afternoons, particularly the current programme of visiting orchestras. I have seem the support increase over the period. Long may it continue!
I had a successful coronavirus test. Staff were helpful and efficient
