Great salon with lovely atmosphere and wonderful people! I've been going here for 5 years.

You know you are in good hands when Courtney does you hair. I have never gone in with a clear idea in mind and let Courtney do whatever she thinks will look best. I have never walked out of Urbane disappointed. She is absolutely amazing and you can tell how much she enjoys her career by how much love she puts into your hair.

Love this salon. I only use Aveda Salons and this one is by far the best in town! Carissa is my go to hairstylist. Expert cut and colorist.

Excellent salon, with highly experienced professionals. Natalie gives phenomenal pedicures! Experienced, kind, friendly, and very knowledgeable.

She was absolutely so sweet!! I was a bit of an emotional trainwreck with my drastic haircut difference, but she got it perfectly. I left with such an amazing haircut!

Claudia was excellent, and I have already made another appointment with her! The salon itself is beautiful, and everyone was very kind!

My experience was a facial with Alyssa along with an eye treatment. She did an excellent job it was very relaxing and I will certainly be back without a doubt!

Carissa is my girl! I don't even have to know what I want when I sit down in her chair and I am always happy with the results. I love Urbane. I've referred basically all of the women in my family and they love it too.

Sarah really listened to the challenges I was having with my hair and also listened to what I was looking for with a hairstyle. She gave me a fabulous cut and gave me some strategies for controlling my frizzy, curly hair. She also recommended products and showed me how to use them. Would definitely reccomend Sara 100%. Jenny is the best! Even though I m usually the only male customer in the store, it s worth it. She has vision. She doesn t just cut your hair. She analyzes it, gives you a plan, tells you how many weeks it will take to get your hair to how you want it, and executes perfectly every time.

Courtney you are truly a hair goddess and are absolutely AMAZING at what you do. THE BEST color I ve ever had in my entire life!

Was in town for just a week and decided to try Urbane. I got SO lucky to find this gem and get Jenny who was the absolute best! She was so friendly and very talented at what she does. I went in and got my hair done with Fjeran last week on Thursday, and it's EVERYTHING I wanted! She took one look at my picture, and nailed it. I will always be an Urbane customer!! From the quickness of services, to the amazing head massages, it would be hard to ever stop going!

Today, while touring Omaha, my husband and thought we d stop and inquire about getting hair done while out and about. On the way here I needed to go to the restroom no place was open. So by the time I made it to this salon (which I thought I wanted to pay for services from) I was clearly in crisis between a mask that makes where I can t see, triggers my asthma, and needing to go to the bathroom. With tears in my eyes, I begged to borrow the bathroom and explained that I would like to book services- but was having an emergency. The two people at the desk had no empathy or sympathy and plainly were downright rude. Maybe they don t know but it s against ADA to deny someone a bathroom in a medical emergency- and I was definitely was. So please don t give patronage to a place denies your basic human rights when you are obviously in crisis and a kind word and help would have been appreciated.

Lovely salon and spa tucked in the Old Market. Friendly, helpful staff. Quality professionals. Beautiful surroundings and atmosphere. Wide variety of Aveda products. All worth the effort.

I was in town for the weekend and made an hair cut appointment with Jenny. She is a rockstar! My hair turned out amazing!

Claudia does my lashes and brows she is AMAZING!! She always takes her time to make sure everything looks perfect and makes my appointment as comfortable as possible. Ask for Claudia, she is the best!!

You should get your haircut from Jenny. I always get compliments afterwards!

I always feel like a million dollars when I walk out the door. Instantly my day is great

I would leave negative stars if I could. I have naturally curly hair, so finding someone who knows what they re doing is tough. My stylist Angelina left, and the staff at Urbane recommended Sarah. I ve had Sarah cut my hair a few times over the past couple years. In the past, my haircuts from Sarah were decent, nothing great but not awful which is really all I cared about. Again, finding someone who has a clue how to cut curly is really, really hard. So, 2.5 weeks ago I have an appt with Sarah. I show her multiple pictures of the length and style I want. I also physically show her how long I want my hair to be, which was basically in line with my underarms. She started cutting and I knew instantly it was too short. I said something to her, but at that point what can be done? Several times I expressed concern about how short it was, but again at that point the hair is gone. I wanted about 5 inches cut off, and I m estimating she cut closer to 14 inches. My hair now, when curly, is up to my chin. I can t figure for the life of me how she could have messed this up so badly. My hair looks horrid, and now is a triangle if I were to wear it curly, which I can t. I ll be straightening my hair for probably 6 months to a year. I ve cried so many times in the past couple of weeks about this. I m sure she didn t mean to do it, but that s not the issue at this point. I m stuck with horribly short hair for the foreseeable future. Ladies, if you have curly hair please be very careful about who you let near it. I would advise you seek someone other than her.

Edit: JaRee fixed my hair so it no longer has the triangle shape, which I greatly appreciate. The salon did give me my money back when I went in to have the shape fixed, which at first I didn t care about but I ve spent about $250 between a flat iron and hair products since I now have to straighten it daily. It s been just been over a month now, and I still am so disappointed in how my hair looks, but time is the only thing that will fix it. I do appreciate Lance and JaRee helping me try to fix this. Please note in my original review I didn t say avoid the salon, I just wouldn t go to that stylist if you have curly hair.

I saw Fjeran and she was very impressive. I loved her positive energy and she made me feel like a million bucks!

Over the years I have had plenty of good massages. This was one of the best ever.

Lance did an amazing job! I'm very picky and he exceeded my expectation. Everyone else was very friendly and nice. I'll never go anywhere else!

Hope is AMAZING!!! She definitely knows the intricacies of hand-tied hair extensions. Best first impression I ve had! Will definitely send family and friends to her in the future when they are in town visiting.

Claudia is amazing!! My eyelashes always look GREAT!! I also go to Natalie for my brow wax/tint. She is the best! Between both of these women taking care of my brows/lashes all the time, it s like I don t even have to worry about wearing makeup anymore! I HIGHLY recommend them both for lashes and brows!!

The service was phenomenal! Jeanette did massage and Claudia did a facial, manicure, and pedicure. The Polished spa package is well worth the money. I highly recommend it!

The whole staff is awesome, never had anything but pleasant interactions while in there. I've gone here for about a year and it's impossible to beat the quality you receive here. Always very happy with my hair cut. For $30 for a men's cut, it's well worth the premium you pay over a generic hair care place.

Lance **actually listens** to what you have in mind, and finds the best way to make that style/color/vibe work for YOU. It s a gift, and Lance has it. He s also very warm and clever!

I only had a lunch hour available to get hair styled. The stylist did a phenomenal job with curly, beachy wavy hair set up to lay nicely 7 hours later for our engagement pictures. It worked out perfectly! Appreciate their attention to detail at this salon!

This visit was the best experience I could have hoped for! They were able to work with last minute changes and made my best friend fall asleep during her pedicure. She never does that. The atmosphere was amazing and very tranquil. I also recieved a brow wax. I havent had one since I was a teenager and was slightly wary going in. My eyebrows look amazing and I couldn't have asked for entering better. 5 stars.

I love working with Kari, one of the massage therapists there. She s fun, a great listener, and an outside the box kind of thinker. I love her whole person approach to massage. She s helped me a lot with reducing headaches and anxiety. I ll be coming to Kari for life!

I had a facial here and it was an amazing experience and very well priced!! Alyssa was amazing and made me feel so comfortable! This self care was definitely well worth it and I will 100% be a returning customer and telling others about it!

Hope was amazing! I was really nervous about trying a new stylist and went to her based on reviews and she did not disappoint! I love my hair and can t stop looking at it. She took her time and cared about the integrity of my hair, not just getting me in and out and on to the next client. Definitely go to her if you need a stylist, especially if you re nervous like I was because she walks you through everything and really takes an understanding of what you actually want. The salon was also well sanitized, clean, and everyone was really friendly!

I've been here twice now and have really enjoyed the Aveda salon experience. I feel like I'm finally getting what I pay for in regards to pampering. I see Jenny Murray and she is very thorough and detailed. It's worth it to upgrade to the scalp treatment which comes with a scalp massage.

Jenny took the time to discuss my hair at her chair before shampooing. She checked in with me multiple times during the haircut to make sure I liked it. Very easy conversation. Will definitely be back!

I will never let another person touch my hair other than Lance at Urbane! He is so friendly and I trust my hair in his hands 100%. The atmosphere at the salon is so welcoming and warm, but still modern and chic. I love that they use Aveda products. I am always able to get in in a timely manner. So i am posting this review since i was really unhappy with the service i got the past couple of times i went to get a haircut, the first few time were great i got no complaints, she took her time and took care of exactly what i wanted, then i just felt like she was rushing to get things done, i remember that the last time i was there it only took her like 15 mins to cut my hair maybe a little more but somewhere around that. When i got home i noticed she left a lot of hair behind my ears and around my head long hairs like come on, i am paying for a $35 dollar hair cut and this is what i get, on top of it i was always really nice and on every hair cut i got i always used to tip her goo.d, 10 or 15 dollars. Over all very very disappointed, would never go back and would never recommend anyone, i should also call the BBB and post a review with them but hopefully they take in consideration my review and always do a goos job

Traveling to Omaha on business and had a deep tissue body massage with Marilyn. She was very professional and gave me one of the best massages I ever had. Her consistent pressure was amazing. When back in Omaha I will ask for her again. Thank you.

Went to Salon Urbane for a last minute appointment. They were able to fit me in within two days. Chelsea was my stylist and she was great. She did exactly what I wanted and gave me a great style. I would say it was one of the best haircuts/style I've ever had. The service prices were reasonable and the salon was clean and nicely decorated. I will be coming back again!

I am glad to have found Sarah. Your care with sanitizing spaces before and after each client is much appreciated. I feel unburieded without my long, white "Covid" ponytail!

Wonderful atmosphere, and loved the pampering during the hair wash, cut, and style!

I don't normally leave reviews but I'm pretty bummed about the haircut I received. While my hairdresser was very kind in talking me through the process, the results came out poorly. Even though I wanted a transitional haircut to go from mid-shoulder to a pixie cut, it is at a very unflattering length. I spent $40 on a haircut that was shorter than desired and then came out uneven. So, because I can't go anywhere to get it fixed because I don't want it to be any shorter than it is now, I am stuck waiting for it to grow back out again. I could have received the same outcome for $15 at Great Clips. I look like a twelve year old in college and I cringe looking in the mirror now because of it.

His hairstylest was very patient and tried to make sure his hair was out off of him as much as she could. She did a great job fading. Happy with my son's haircut. My son is 7 and the charge was $25 which I was not expecting. The price for children could be better. Otherwise great experience

I got a 60 minute massage from Julia. It was easily one of the best massages I have ever had. Urbane and Julia are highly recommended.

Fjeran suggested hair extensions to preserve my hair rather than to color it. I love them We added blue & teal, my hair is amazing!

I ve used this salon and Fjeran for several years and have never need disappointed! She works around my crazy schedule as well which is so appreciated! The moment you walk in you re greeted by friendly staff and the salon is always so clean. Love the new renovations...especially during covid . Fjeran colors my hair, massages my scalp and styles it and I walk out feeling like a million dollars! Thank you Fjeran!!

Vanessa is the best stylist I have ever had! Every time I walk out of the salon, I am over the moon with her work and personality. This last time I came in, I was going out with friends afterwards. Vanessa did a great job as always, and Morgan even did a makeup retouch for me! The staff is amazing and am thankful for these two in particular! Morgan is always friendly and helpful when I come in, but especially impressed me the last time I was here (last week). Thank you ladies for always being amazing!

This place is absolutely amazing! I highly recommend Jasmine or Amy, they are up front and honest about what you want. I came in wanting to go from dark brown to platinum blonde in 2 sessions. They educated me on the process and products to use. Just sitting there and seeing the interaction with the ladies is a whole completely different level of family. They look out for each other and respect each other. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

All I can say is WOW!!!! Crystal exceeded my expectations for how I wanted my hair to look!!! Not only is she a hair genius, she is really fun to talk to and makes you feel so welcome! Will definitely book with Crystal again!!

I have tried multiple salons in Omaha and have never been as satisfied with a hair stylist as I have at Urbane Salon on Farnam. Vanessa is an amazing hair stylist. She listens to what I want, teaches me about hair and the best ways to manage it, and I always leave with the exact haircut and style I was envisioning. Vanessa is a magician! Highly recommend this salon and her.

I'm new to the area and was worried about trusting someone to wax my eyebrows the way I wanted them. Claudia was excellent.the staff is very friendly and the Salon is calm and relaxing.

Becky is absolutely amazing! I had a few kinks in my neck but after my massage I can't feel a thing. She made me feel very comfortable. I definitely recommend her to anyone and I will definitely be back.

We got two message packages. My daughter said her message was great! The message therapist gave it her all! Mine... Not so much. The first one just gave a repetitive light rub then the next one gave you a fast " in a hurry" rub. For $400.00 I was not impressed and my sea weed wrap was almost on for 20minutes which was the reason I went. The place was very nice and staff was great! I would not recommend the package deals, over price for the experience. By way if your used to getting a mani at a nail salon don't get a mani there! The polish they use doesn't cure well with the ultra violet lights so you leave with wet/ un-cured nails and you paid way more than you would of at a "nail salon!"

Tried to get my bridal party all together and they somehow made arrangements so it would work!!! The girls all looked great and were happy with their results. And each artist really listened to their clients before working their magic. Would recommend for any hair beauty needs!

AMAZING! esthetician, took her time calming me because previously I've had painfully bad experiences.
I especially appreciated the kindness I received from the young lady stationed at the front desk. I drive over an hour to get there, only to realize I had the wrong time. Even though I had missed my initial appointment, she didn't give me any grief or attitude, just got me in as quickly as possible.

I absolutely LOVE this salon!! Had the most incredibly relaxing day getting pampered head to toe. I especially appreciated the ability to customize my spa day package. I never felt rushed, even after my last minute change of service request. Alyssa is such a wonderfully talented & dedicated technician that my waxing (I'm overly sensitive & particular) went as smoothly as my mani/pedi. Then, I had such fun (and absolutely no qualms!) about leaving my extremely long, fine hair in Lance's experienced hands & letting him take over. Definitely going to have to schedule this spa event a couple times a year because I haven't felt this cared for (incredibly kind people, too) in a long time! I've been to MANY! so called 'high end' salons. Most seem to think that 'uppity' attitudes replaces kindness & you should thank them for it. All the staff here are genuinely caring. Thank you, Urbane!!!!!

I am very picky about my hair. I went to Lance 8 years ago on a chance recommendation and I wont go anywhere else. He listens, evaluates and delivers beautiful hair every visit.

Always such a pleasant experience and a fantastic atmosphere. Lance knows I never have a plan and is great to work with in coming up with a plan of action. I always leave feeling relaxed and happy.

Kari is an amazing massage therapist. So much stress and tension was released during my session. She also sent me away with great council for continued health and reduced tension. An amazing experience!

I was gifted a spa day at Urbane with massage, facial, and mani/pedi with lunch and I HIGHLY recommend seeing Jeanette and Natalie for anyone interested in these services. My massage was relaxing and thoughtfully catered to the needs and preferences I had expressed, the facial was personalized to meet the individual needs and concerns of my skin type, and the mani + pedi were both flawless!

My daughter and I had a spa day. Body scrub, pedicure, mini massage and hair. We were there for about 4 hours. This is a really nice salon and spa and the staff was great. They took care of us as if we were queen for the day. The only negative I had was the pedicure. They do not have comfortable chairs for you to sit in for this. They also do not have whirlpool tubs to put your feet in. It's just a big bowl of hot water. The best part of a pedicure it the chair and whirlpool. I would go back for sure, but I would do the body stuff and hair. Our day cost us well over $500 so choose your treatment wisely.

Always a pleasure to see Jenny and let her do her magic on my hair. She is great at listening to my feedback and adjusting to make things better with the cut, color, or style. So talented!
