Good food, good service. Outside seating was nice. Tried the Mojito Wit beer, was different but refreshingly good on a hot day. Picante pizza was good! Only con was finding a parking spot!

Was not great...i had the raspberry chicken wife had the fish n chips. My veggies were raw and barley warm and the wifes fish was mediocre at best. The fries were tolerable.
However the service was fantastic as we were.with a party.of 13. So they have that going for them. Thanks Rachel you were great.
I had gastro distress for more than 24 hours after eating here. I had fish & chips, I think it was the cucumber side tho I only had a bite (not prepared as advertised, plain watery slices)
Omaha is full of amazing places to eat and drink. This isn't one of them. Mediocre, but popular with tourists and old-school thinkers. You can do better.
Wonderful stop. Quaint location in neighborhood of refinished older buildings. Delicious beer and food
This place is always great for a date night. I recommend eating upstairs if possible, as it's a little quieter than the ground floor. Otherwise, you've got great food (I recommend the beer battered fish and chips), good beer selection, and great desert options. (Try their cheesecake.)
Showed up tonight with an hour and a half to spare before I needed to be at Eppley. Grabbed a seat outside and ordered the Penguin Iceberg stout, while pointing directly at the beer menu.
I was then asked if I wanted that with dinner or before. Unaware of the miscommunication, I said as soon as possible.
5 minutes later, an iceberg lettuce wedge salad arrived. I ate it, assuming it was part of my dinner. The beer never showed.
My blackened chicken and fusilli arrived and I asked the lady who delivered it if she would please check on my beer. Our waitress reappeared stating that she must have missed the order and we zeroed in on the miscommunication. No biggie, I ll still have that beer please!
Long story short, the sauce was too soupy and the beer never showed up. I spent a frickin hour at a brewery and I couldn t get a beer. That s really something.
I explained my disappointment to her when she asked if we needed anything else. She assured me I wouldn t that the beer was on her (as though it had actually shown up). Then brought us the bill and charged us for the beer AND the salad. My mother s coffee came out, but was never refilled. Neither were our waters, for that matter. A special level of incompetence!
I now understand why the west location was closed and assume that this location is close behind. Jesus...
Delicious food! Really great atmosphere for dates, friend/family dinners, events, special occasions, etc. The staff is awesome and the location is perfect, right in the old market.
I am from out of town and came in with my wife, 3 and 5 year old. One of the waitresses went to the restroom with a food tray (void of food, none the less) and sat it on the floor in the stall with her as she used the toilet. Food was great before I learned this from my wife. Beer and root beer flat. If your looking for carb free (carbination) then this is the place for you.
Our server was cheerful and quick, and our food was absolutely delicious. Will definitely return in the future!
Food was amazing! We did cheese curds, beer cheese soup, and split the pork sandwich. All were delicious, priced reasonably, and great presentation.
We did a flight of all 12 beers - no big winners in the mix which is why 4 stars. Food was 5, beer was 3.
The food was good. Not sure it was a great value though
I initially thought the food was a little on the pricey side, however they really delivered for what I paid. Plus, you just can't beat local brews. Worth every penny.
Nice place. Good beer, had the do la do IPA.
And a Schnitzel.
We stopped over in Omaha just to have a great steak. 801 was rated highly by TripAdvisor & Google, so we selected it. Unfortunately only the salad was great. My filet was good - Not great. My husband's pork was dry with no taste. This is not the place to go unless someone else is paying for it.
Stopped in for a late dinner and a few brews. The food and beers were pretty good but the service was terrible. We sat in the bar area which I would not recommend as service was extremely slow.
Our server took an above average time to take our drink orders and when we were not ready to order food when she returned with our beers we did not see here again for over 15 minutes. By the time she returned to take our order I had already finished by 1st beer. We would have left but my wife hadn't finished hers yet and by that time most other restaurants in the area were closed and we specifically chose upstream because it was a brewery.
I ordered another beer before my 2nd was empty in the hopes of having it brought out sooner than before because I ordered the picante pizza which had a good kick to it. Shortly after I finished my beer the waitress came and asked which beer I ordered because she forgot to put it in. By this time I was almost done with my meal. The server apologized repeatedly throughout the meal for getting tied up with other things. We also heard her consistently apologizing to the other tables in our area for similar issues.
On top of the slow service the food runner who brought out our food handed me the plate that the pizza was on. The plate was still extremely hot and he did not warn me of this.
I would like to think we just hit an off night for service but if we ever visit Omaha again we will definetly not be making a return visit and I would recommend being cautious of stopping here...especially sitting in the bar area.
Great food and decent beer. Loved the choices but wish they had more IPAs. The service was excellent and the staff was friendly! Will visit again when in town.
We had a group of 8 adults 2 preschoolers and 2 toddlers. The food and service were out of this world!
Fantastic happy hour- $3 off appetizers and drink specials. Spin dip to die for!
Had a great experience with my friends. Great place.
Fantastic place to have my son's grad party. Great service, food, and atmosphere
We had a party of 45 during a busy volleyball tournament. Service was fast! They had our drinks and appetizers out within 30 minutes of taking orders And everyone s dinner was out within another 30 minutes. From the time we sat down to the time everyone got all their food was just over an hour! Great job!
Great food, fun atmosphere. Recommend the outdoor seating, but the inside of the old firehouse is incredible to see.
Cute historic building with friendly & responsive staff. Cornflake breaded pickles are awesome! The rest of the meal was really tasty and different as well. We'll be back.
Food good, service was terrible had to bus my own table for refill on drinks.
The restaurant offer wide range of their own beer on tap, with a large menu to choose from. The beer is good, and the food I had was above average.
It's a great place good beer and pizza. friendly staff.
I used to live in Omaha and visit about once a year. I only started going to this restaurant once I had moved, but now it's a must go whenever I come back. Beer cheese anything is my favorite and any of their dishes with beer cheese is FANTASTIC. Their dishes are consistently delicious and wait staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable.
Lots of choices! Great food, service ambience. Upstairs was quieter for lunch.
We had a great weekend party at upstream. Beer and sea food is good. O gold beer is my favourite.
The hostess was rude when I asked for a booth but the server was absolutely amazing which made up for it for sure. The food was crazy good. Amazing root beer and taps. Wish there was one closer to Cedar Rapids Iowa. Will be back next time we are in town.
Good beer selection, decent pub type food, friendly staff
Pot roast was very tender and good. I would suggest using the praline cookie and put it with ice cream and forget the warmed up brownie. Praline was very very good.
Service was great and food was perfect beer was excellent. Will be back again and again and again.
A great brewery in Omaha. Always has amazing drinks on tap. A new experience every time.
Great food, I had the rocky road desert... fenomenal! Happy hour makes a great deal! And the flagship ipa is highly recommended!! When I come back to Omaha... for sure I ll make it here again.
Wonderful beer , appetizers and entrees. Wait staff is quick and on point.
Get the Pot Roast and Spinach Artichoke Dip. Put the menu down and do it, now.
Their seasonal brews are very good as well as their regular selection. They have a variety of atmospheres including a lounge area, bar area and a restaurant area. All are great for date night or a nice night out with friends. Located in the heard of downtown in the old market it is a great location!
My daughter and I ate here last night, we are visiting from out of town during a volleyball tournament. Thought steaks (both got the New York strip steak - medium rare) would be good in Omaha Nebraska, but we're very disappointed. Steaks were tough/rubber and no flavor. No bueno for $28 a plate!!
We were in Omaha for just one night and the staff at our hotel Hyatt Place recommended this restaurant. We loved it! Had a great dinner. Wish we lived closer so we could go more often! Highly recommend!
I LOVE the patio! It s so cute and happy!! I think it s a wonderful place to sit and have dinner and the jambalaya is amazing!! Definitely had a kick to it so he prepared to sweat, but it s delicious! Lots of flavors and it s huge!
LOVE this place! Their appetizers are amazing and their home brew is soooo good!
Edit 03/13/19: ate here again last night and again, AMAZING!!!!!! Man I wish their out West location was still open. I need my Upstream fix far more often than I have time to get downtown!
American wheat yum!
Great food.
Wine and apps are the best. Always enjoy the outdoor seating in the early fall, so Nice! Great for friends and family!
Upstream Brewery was one of the first, if not the first in house brewery in Omaha. It was way ahead of the game with its beers, menu and layout. Upstream is now still a solid offering, but its concepts are now dated and food offerings are uneven. Still a good place for large groups, summer patio season and some very solid in house beers, but Upstream has been surpassed by breweries with better menus and local beers.
We love the brunch - great for families. Excellent mimosas, made to order omelets, great variety.
Good food and atmosphere. Service was unorganized in our area, took along time to get drinks and order food. Hopefully just an off day.
Food and service is always amazing here as well as their drinks!
I've only had attentive and courteous servers here. The food and drink are quality and the price is a bargain.
I use to really like their craft beers but now I consider them average. Ordered 2 pizza's, one was burnt. Service good.
Great food and atmosphere. They have a hearty Sunday brunch and their fish and chips entree is delicious - it comes with a very fresh and tasty cucumber salad - the perfect accompaniment.
Good brewery and very good food options to choose from.
Food at a retirement party. Can't recall details an hour later.
Our favorite casual spot in Omaha. Great beers, really good food, especially with the recent menu additions. Always good service, and three full-size pool tables upstairs. Torrence and Jill at the downstairs bar are always great. The new wings on the menu just unseated Wilson & Washburn as the best in town!
Best service I've had in a long time. Great food and beer too.
Food was excellent. Service was good. Tried their home made root beer tonight. It hardly had any flavor. Quite disappointing.
We were recently in Omaha for a concert and a friend recommended the Upstream Brewing Company for dinner. The experience before dinner was not fabulous but the food definitely made up for it. I ordered the pot roast and it was divine. I would recommend this place to any of my friends and family. Yum!
Everyone's food was ok except for mine. I ordered the pot roast. It was tough and dry, definitely overcooked. It was just two square blocks, very unnatural looking. Was quite disappointed, probably won't be returning anytime soon.
Great food. Great service. We are in town for a wedding. Party event after we ate dinner was very well done by the staff. My wife and I would highly recommend you visit Chophouse while in the area. I had their root beer as I don't drink beer. Very tasty.
Delicious food and well crafted beer. The beer bread is outstanding. The atmosphere is fun.
Comfortable food, reasonable prices, warm atmosphere. Friendly service and a good beer selection.
This is our go-to restaurant when visiting Omaha. Always great food and friendly service. Try the bread pudding!
