The staff was fantastic and there is no fear of claustrophobia what so ever

The entire group of people are amazing! I was in extreme pain and was met outside with a wheelchair. They took me in, got everything situated and took me back to a room. They were so kind and gentle and helped me get the best position to help get answers of my pain. When I was done the pain was so excruciating all I could do was cry and they consoled me and took all the time needed to get me to calm down and took me to my car, helped me in and talked to me until I got into the Car and comfortable to drive. I appreciate all the staff here more than they know. THANK YOU!! -Kari

Let me begin by saying that the staff here is very courteous, unlike some other practices in the Denver area.

However they receive a bad review due to a critical error that Upright MRI made with my health insurance provider. I scheduled for a scan to look for any tumors in my head. Upright MRI was provided every detail about my health insurance plan; account number, deductibles etc and they told me that the total would be $250.00. 2 months after my scan I receive another bill from them for $375.00. When inquiring about the additional charge, I was basically told by Upright MRI that my health insurance provider was only going to cover so much of the scan and now I would have to cough up that additional difference. So then why was I told the total bill would only be $250 back when I initially got the scan? Upright MRI had all the information they needed from me and they dropped the ball hard due to poor communication or maybe even lack of.

Needless to say the next time I think I may have a tumor in my head, I'll just live with the tumor rather than deal with this level of carelessness.

I had an MRI here last week, wow, how nice to do an MRI and watch the Rockies game! Yep, that is right, while having an MRI, I am sitting and watching TV. I am so happy that finally there is an MRI that doesn't shove you in some small tube. The Staff did a great job explaining what the procedure would be like and the images were perfect for my doctor.
The traditional MRI is stressful and uncomfortable, give the fine folks at Upright MRI of Colorado a call. The most stressful part of my MRI was watching the Colorado Rockies pitching! I highly recommend them.

It was actually relaxing to have my MRI done at this location. There wasn't anything in front of my face. Got to watch TV which was different than my previous tube MRI experiences. Great staff, highly recommend.

I needed a certain type of specialized MRI and I was calling around to see if Upright did the MRI I needed. Tabitha took my call. She told me Upright didn't do the MRI I wanted but she suggested a hospital that would, then set up a conference call with that hospital to confirm and then helped confirm insurance acceptance at the hospital. What a nice person!!! If you need assistance for most MRIs, Upright is the place. Ask for Tabitha.

Be careful! Quick and easy MRI, and results sent to the Dr. in a fair amount of time. But be careful when working with the billing office. I paid my balance after insurance did their part with someone in the office over the phone and yet they seemed to "still not get it". Now my account is in collections even after they promised to look in to the issue. Can't say I can send anyone I know there after this mess. This is the kind of error that gives companies one star!

From the front desk to the back of the house they were all phenomenal. Being in the customer service business for over 35 years, I should know good customer services. The staff are great, outgoing and fun to be around. I give them 10 stars.

Upright MRI successfully appealed my insurance's denial of coverage based on medical necessity which automatically earned them points in my book. They were then able to take multiple images of my spine in a seated position, and identify bulged discs that are more prominent during neck extension. Upright MRI was able to provide images that an X-Ray could not. The staff was friendly and polite, including the tech who listened to my concerns and let me adjust how I would be positioned for the MRI in order to replicate my symptoms.

Very professional and courteous staff! I feel fortunate to have a place nearby that can provide an upright MRI. So many of my spinal conditions are worse when upright and better when lying down. Thank you for making my MRI experience so easy and welcoming. I highly recommend this business!!

Great MRI was able to watch TV they made me feel very comfortable.

HIGHLY recommend! The only way I was able to get urgently needed imagining. Getting MRIs is awful on my body, they were professional yet were so much more caring than your typical MRI facility. This can make all the difference when you are in insurmountable pain trying to get imaging you desperately need to move forward. Very very grateful we found this place. Thank you guys!

Great experience, professional staff, and much easier MRI than standard ones. For back problems, all my pain was in sitting. It just makes sense to get an MRI in that position. It was a smooth experience without the claustrophobia of a normal MRI machine. Nice people there too.

Was real nervous because, I tried an MRI, then an open MRI, then the up right one and was surprised. I was able to get it done finally.

I'm glad that I went there for my MRI the people there very nice especially the front dest they are excellent they are the best to soul your problem

Folks, having an MRI radiological examination can be a critical component in your health and well being. There is a significantly important reason that you are having such. Having said this, the examination or study performed IS ONLY AS GOOD AS THE RADIOLOGY PHYSICIAN THAT READS AND INTERPRETS IT! This part of the process IS CRITICALLY IMPORTANT. You need a well trained, extremely competent radiologist to identify potential issues and important findings, accompanied by a thorough report. This aspect of doing business with Upright is frankly HIGHLY SUSPECT, as they utilize non-Colorado based radiologists primarily, and ones that are locally unfamiliar, often remotely via the internet, etc. Some could be based in say, Florida or New Jersey, and potentially inaccessible to your physician that ordered your MRI. Upright utilizes often inexpensive radiology "services" for their readings due to cost savings. However, Upright's MRI itself is wonderful technology, much more comfortable and patient friendly that older, claustrophobic, and unpleasant MRI facilities that exist throughout our metropolitan community. The staff IS friendly and accommodating, except when you ask too many questions about the credentials and location of the radiologists that may end up interpreting your MRI. TRY TO SELECT YOUR OWN PREFERRED, LOCALLY BASED, AND COMPETENT RADIOLOGIST TO REVIEW YOUR MRI, rather than some "service" they use from who knows where. Avoid "GIGO" with respect to your health. GOOD LUCK! UPDATE ON NOVEMBER 3, 2020, REGARDING "UPRIGHT MRI": I just had another group of physician providers request a new cervical MRI to be undertaken. When I mentioned Upright MRI, the physician informed me that they would not accept ANY MRI studies from Upright due to the consistently poor quality of the radiological readings, interpretations, and reports. PLEASE MAKE CERTAIN THAT YOUR "ORDERING PHYSICIAN " WILL ACCEPT THE WORK OF UPRIGHT MRI BEFORE HAVING YOUR MRI, as many physicians in our community will not allow their patients to obtain MRI's from Upright. Words of caution, as MRI's are expensive!

Tried scheduling an appointment here for a potentially serious illness. Spoke to them prior to having my Doctor send over orders, explained everything and everything seemed great! Not the experience after that first phone call! It has now taken them 5+ days to get preauthorization from my insurance. They refuse/won t schedule me appointment until they receive pre-auth. I have called them everyday to check and remind for 5 days and still nothing. I finally asked how soon they could even get me in and the woman on the phone begrudgingly told me it would be at least a week and half!! This on top of the 5 days I ve already been calling and asking them for an update on my appointment. Seriously!?
I asked to speak to an office Manager and was told she was out of town. I asked to speak to a supervisor or someone else and was told that everyone was out of town. I should have been told that 5 days ago when I called and asked to make the soonest appt available! Instead I was misled and dragged on for 5+ days with nothing to show for all the time and effort I have spent trying to simply get an appointment setup here.

I called another place in town (Health Images) and had insurance pre-authorized in a matter of hours and an appointment scheduled for the very next day on the same type of open/sit down extremity MRI machine!

When no other health care provider could schedule me for an MRI on the same day I received a referral stating I needed one STAT, Upright MRI took me in and took great care of me allowing me to get my MRI on the same day! They are awesome! I would highly recommend!

We are so thankful we found this place! Amazing care from start to finish. The place was sanitized and spotless, they were very kind, professional, respectful, and of course the machine made all the difference!! HIGHLY recommend!

The best MRI experience! I went to another local MRI imaging place in Littleton and had a horrible experience. The techs at Upright treat you like family. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and safe during the experience. I went from being scared from the prior MRI place to falling asleep towards the end of getting my MRI at Upright. If you are having cervical vertebrae issues, most symptoms are aggravated when upright so it makes sense also to have an MRI while you are in that position. Highly recommend!

I got my MRI here because it is load bearing and I believe it makes more sense and will provide better results for my care providers to treat me. I have pain everywhere in back and neck and can t say it was real comfortable in all positions, however, I didn t come here for comfort...I came for a superior MRI to get better! Andy is AWESOME! The staff was great and very kind. I don t want to have to get more MRIs in my future, but if I need any, this is the place!

The staff is very knowledgeable, and professional. They helped my daughter do her imaging by being there for her every step. Because I am pregnant I could not be in the imaging room with her, so the staff stayed in there with her for the imaging. My daughter watch a movie while the imaging was done. I am so thankful for the care the staff took for the MRI imaging of my daughter. I highly recommend upright MRI of Colorado.

The staff is very friendly and the MRI machine was great! I'm very claustrophobic. The technician was patient and understanding, he explained the process of the scan. During the MRI you get to watch tv to relax.
