UpCountry Canada Review

I have terrible experience with this company . I was looking for Queen Bed I saw in gussying website after research how I can buy. close d the are I I've Toronto . I found the UP Country I called and spoke David if have in stock . He said yes me I drive Saturday 17 Aug there the same day . I purchase Queen size white bed pay full by crerdicard . I ask before if can storage the bed because I moving in September 1 . He said was fine he have two in storage just call him and will delivery. Suddenly we call this week in 3 Sep to arrangement the delivery First surprise he said I need to call the company to set up the delivery and second surprise I need pay $175 . He never told us finally we decide agree go further we set the delivery for yesterday . The delivery company bring the BED but not surprise the was king . We call David he said sorry I sent wrong bed .Will arrange the delivery until Friday. Today we call to update the situation he said dent have bed avalaible and not be able to delivery he said just cancel the order . So hHOW BAD this Company represent the GUS have terrible, unprofessional man name David doing the customer service in the name the company. He a lier because the day we purchase he said we have two in stock , he probably split . Also after already had our order pay ? As well I try contact GUS today nobody answer any the extension poor customer service It's very disappoint and aggravate as customer my time consumer since buy and now and I don't have the Bed Shame David Up county very umproffesional I just lend there because GUS referral by the website

We have purchased several items from this wonderful store. Brenda has always been friendly and has a memory of the furniture and accessories she helped us decide on. This makes you feel right at home and that you will be well taken care of when making your selections. Delivery is always on time and professionally managed. We have nothing but praise for the staff at Upcountry. Of note, we had the pleasure of working with Shannon Murphy at the Upcountry, Burlington location. We were looking for a study desk for our home office. . Shannon showed us a variety of different options within our assigned budget. Customer satisfaction was her priority. When our desk was delivered and we noticed some issues with the piece, we informed Shannon. She took it up immediately with the manufacturer and provided us prompt updates . Shannon worked with the delivery team to ensure we received the replacement product before the given date and went out of her way to make sure that we were happy with the final product. THANK YOU!

I walked in to browse... I went in for inspiration and ideas, not expecting to purchase...but Beth was very patient and took the time to help me...

Needless to say, I left with a sofa!

My husband and I just moved into our first home. Being busy professionals, we were overwhelmed with choosing the right furniture for our living room space. We visited many furniture showrooms from Burlington to Toronto! We really like the style from UpCountry. We worked closely with Shannon Murphy and she did a great job taking the measurements of our space and providing us with her recommendations. She spent quite a bit of time trying to understand our taste, needs, and budget. We never felt pressure to purchase anything. She really took her time with us and responded in a timely manner via email or by phone. We even met at a studio in Mississauga to pick out rugs for our living room on her day off! And, she even found us other vendors if UpCountry didn't have what we wanted. She went above and beyond! Even her colleagues were surprised by the amount of attention she provided to some of our custom orders. It has been a few months since we received all our furniture and we couldn't be happier with the look, setup, and quality of the furniture! I would highly recommend you talk to Shannon about your home needs and I am sure she will point you in the right direction!

High prices, uneven customer service. Although some of the staff are professional and helpful, others are down-right rude if you fail to meet their preconceived notions on how an "UpCountry customer" should look. If they operate on commission, then that's their loss as my business was well received at a competitor's store!

I ve purchased multiple pieces from the Burlington location, and have always gone home happy. Don t go in expecting discount retailer pricing, but do expect to find excellent quality products and service. I always ask to work with Justine, as she will go above and beyond to ensure I get exactly what I m looking for. She takes the time to really understand what space you re looking to fill, and I ve never felt pressured to buy. I will definitely shop here again.

Very disappointing customer service. Purchased a custom made sectional sofa that is practically unusable as the sharp ends of the feathers poke through the seats. Prior to the COVID shutdown, our sales rep was helpful in liaising with the manufacturer. We put everything on pause until the summer but our rep had left the Burlington store and despite numerous attempts to ask the interim manager for assistance, the most we got was to be told to contact the manufacturer directly. We will see if the manufacturer will stand behind their product. Not at all what you should expect from a company branding themselves as selling high quality products.

My wife and I enjoyed our experience with Brenda as she consulted and advised based on our best interest. An exceptional experience at Up Country Burlington.

Everybody at this store is wonderful, and the quality of the furniture is great. I'm sure soon enough my whole home will be outfitted in Up Country furniture. Thanks for the great service and great pieces!

Without a doubt the BEST furniture and accessories store in Burlington. Their products are unique, chic and well curated. The staff in Burlington ( Vanessa, John and Rachel) are: helpful, knowledgeable and very pleasant to deal with. I m very particular about where I shop. If I could give more Stars I would.

My husband and I were looking for high quality, Canadian made, solid walnut furniture. David at Upcountry Toronto, helped me find a fabulous bed and dresser by West Brothers. Made in hanover, Ontario, this set is truly the best quality of furniture that we have seen. David was wonderful to work with and we will definitely be back to buy our night tables and any other furniture we need. A great selection of furniture and great customer service!

I had a wonderful experience at the Burlington store this weekend for their Labour day weekend sale. It was my first time in the store and the staff were beyond helpful! Beth walked me through the different furniture pieces I was interested in and took the time to really help me find the perfect piece for my home. All of the displays were put together so beautifully and I love that all the furniture is Canadian made! I look forward to purchasing more pieces for my home in the future from Upcountry Burlington.

The service here is tops. They let you look as long as you like but if you need help they will do everything they can to give you more information and samples. Vanessa is especially good - I think she is the manager.
They carry great lines of furniture. The condo size Gus Modern sofas are great styles but too firm so would like to see condo furniture that is more comfy. Great shopping experience!

Brenda and her Team have been terrific! I have purchased several items of furniture there and have been extremely pleased. The furniture is solid(!) and I have received many compliments on them! Brenda helped me choose the right fabric, style and colour options; she even suggested paint colours! I have two teens and a large dog, so I needed comfort, style and pieces that would look attractive and welcoming, yet would wear well. If it was not on the showroom floor, she pulled it up on their website for me. Brenda did come out and took detailed measurements of my place so she was able to help me plan my space with the right size furniture, mix and budget.

The staff are very friendly and very knowledgeable. I appreciate great service and quality, that is why I keep going back. I do not reside close to their showroom, but it is worth the drive for me. I have recommended UpCountry Burlington to my Family and Friends as well.

Brenda at upcountry was the initial contact when I first went to the store looking for a sofa. She was extremely helpful with the style that would best suit our space, she helped with measurements and suggested custom length for our sofa. I have referred many people here.

Up Country has a fantastic selection of furniture for the discerning customer. I have purchased a few pieces there that I am very happy with. One of the things that keeps me coming back is the professionalism of the staff. As well, Brenda, the Manager is not happy until you are happy. She stands behind her products and if there are any issues, they will be dealt with quickly. Correspondence and follow-up are never an issue here. You can depend on professional advice and service which does not end once payment has been received. They will remember who you are and make you feel welcome every time.

Used to be a great place for new ideas, good quality at a reasonable price. Not so much anymore. Same stuff as anywhere else, but much higher prices.
