I had a good time! This circus is definitely different, fun, funny, hip, ... I loved everything. What an experience. Very much recommended. Detroit, MI 9-7-19.

Great performers, very talented! But come on it s 2019 and we re still using animals for entertainment. Animal abuse at its finest.

Back in March 2019 I bought tickets to the Raleigh show. We sat down and loved the tent, music and energy. Very energetic! Everything was awesome UNTIL the horses came out! Poor horses:( the smoke, loudness, tiny space, must of been so stressful for them! I couldn t bare to watch!! My daughter was crying! It went from fun and laughter to tears. We left 20 minutes into show!!
They do not need animals for it to be a great show! All the performers were awesome! So much talent and great music!! UniverSoul circus....STOP USING ANIMALS!! I hope every state becomes an animal free circus state like NY!! If you didn t have animals, I would of given you 5 stars!

My kids had fun at the circus but sadly there was not any elephants at the circus

imagine the feeling of sticking a q-tip too far into your ear, hurts, doesn t it? the feeling of a cotton tip going just a little bit too far into your ear can be horrifically painful, now at sharp metal points at the end of that q-tip. that s the pain these elephants endure. the trainers, who have been repeatedly reported for such acts, will shove sharp sticks with many long knife like points at the end deep into the elephants ear in order to have them simply lie down. This is absolute unacceptable. no question. I do not even understand the appeal of seeing animals forced to perform unnatural, painful movements. Do you enjoy seeing human kind taint the earth and all creatures that live on it? Circuses that involve wild i domesticated animals are only reminders of the parasite human beings are.

STOP USING ANIMALS FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT. DISGUSTING! STOP USING ANIMALS IN YOUR SHOWS, ANIMAL ABUSE IS NOT OKAY.

How can you people like this show?! They abuse and torture beautiful animals. Some of the trainers involved in this show have been cited multiple times for abusing animals. When you saw this show did ANY of you even look into the animals' eyes? If you did, couldn't you see there pain? I went to this show when I was very little and didn't know better but now I do, next time I go to this show you will see me outside protesting. Circus that beat and torture animals for amusement is wrong in every sense of the word. And when these animals finally get sick of the torture and lash out? Oh well, it's inevitable.

If i could give it a zero i would when to the circus here in Baltimore on june 11 ,2019 section L row I seats 4 5 6 7 the place was Freezing the air was coming from under the seats people left and didnt stay for second half of the show i called Atlanta headquarters of course no return calls or emails called back today spoke to miranda smith in sales who really didnt give a damn dont treat me like my money doesn't matter ive been going for years the circus was horrible the prices are ridiculous for souvenirs and food they need to be ashame of theirselves will definitely not be going back to universal soul circus its a joke the performances wasn't good neither

The last show that I went to, was not good at all. My Aunt and I took my cousin for her birthday. It was very boring, and to me it's not a circus. It should be changed to a variety show. After giving them a not so good review, they blocked me on their page so I could not comment on anything. My family use to go to this every year, but after realizing that it was basically the same thing we stopped going. I tried to give them another chance, by taking my cousin. It was such a let down. They didn't have a ringmaster that year and the show was so boring, that I was on my phone the whole time.

Very first time going to the circus and I am 58. I had a very exciting time. The staff is very friendly. Zeke is hilarious and kind. Looking forward to going again.

Didn't like it neither did the kids waste of $90... Kids was bored and ready to go home don't really play a lot of kids music and that's the majority of the audience.. my kids only liked half time because the played at least 2 kids songs oh and the motorcycles....

Absolutely horrible customer service. Two lines open at the snack counter. The show was not that great. Wait time was was horrible

Saw this show today and it was amazing!!!!! No aggressive animals, honesty the show was so good they didn t need animals!!!! Awesome show!!!!!

It makes no sense that no one can contact you all regarding new dates or refunds. You refuse to answer emails or phone calls, you are showing many what type of true business people you are.

I enjoyed the Atlanta show. The entertainers involved were very skilled and very attractive people. They all were toned and beautiful. I loved the diversity. They all did excellent. Only downside was too much forced crowd participation. They wanted us to dance and stand up and I wasn't there for all that. I came to enjoy the show, not be the show.

My nephew experienced the circus for the first time and he loved it. I will definitely support them next year.

If only zero stars was a choice. This is unbelievable I think by now you guys should have heard that circus animals should be stop being used in circus. Poor animals have to suffer for your entertainment and your money. This is a message to please stop using circus animals.

Absolutely, positively loved it! Wify and I went down to National Hobour for the weekend and saw this show it was great...everyone should see it no matter what your race or nationality they have performers from all over the world. Be prepared you might get chosen to be a part of the show.

Even though I loved the human acts... the elephants looked so sad. People ride the elephants for ten dollars each then they make the elephants perform. The elephants look tired and fed up! The show is great without the elephant act. I think they should let the elephants go! If it was not for that one issue I would of gave this circus a five star rating....

Hooligans performing at a circus! If you consider yourself of good taste or are expecting something even half as good as may be Cirque du Soleil, please do yourself a favor and do not go to UniverSoul. It felt like it's an event organized by a certain kind of people and meant only for a certain kind of people.

People of color- the best. My students love them! Be expected to pay $15 per person for food alone. I liked the bathroom system. It s in a trailer and what s more the women s section is larger than the men s. It has outdoor sink. Awesome friendly people. Our school interpreter went and interpreted the performance!

I loved the show and I know everyone is saying don't use animals if it's for entertainment and other people want to see animals, they should because everyone has their opinions. It's really not abuse. If it was the animals would go crazy but no, there trained animals besides they barley do anything with the animals they just ride the animal and leave. But since the shows are great I give 5 stars. But i mean since people think this way the animals should stop coming because I don't want this place to close down lile my fav circus the Ringling bros. And Barnum and Bailey

To me it appears that every year it gets better and better. Love to see what's in store for next year. Can't wait!!!!

My kids and I haven t seen the Soul Circus since 2014, but it was awesome to have them back in Birmingham, AL. We enjoyed it from beginning to end

I've been going to the other circus for years. This was my first big top circus experience. I loved all the acts and adored the entertainers interaction with the audience. I own three poodles that have gone through 14 weeks of training. My dogs love learning. I think some people underestimate animals' intelligence. They love attention, challenges and preforming. Most animals have a better lifestyle with people than in the wild. The animals in this circus did not appear to be abuse to me. I love all of God's animals.

Horrible customer service!!!! There s a global pandemic and they refuse to give people their money back. I also emailed them and they didn t respond to my email but they responded to the bank about a dispute. Very unprofessional company if i could give 0 stars I would.

These guys put the bar so high. Oh my god! A total must see! I wanna give 10 stars but restricted to 5. These guys know their business well and know how to entertain the crowd. Thank you so much for the amazing experience.

The most fun I ve had in a long time! It was nonstop fun and entertainment from beginning until the end! Very well executed! Will definitely make this an annual family outing.

Best circus performance I have ever attended. I felt like a kid again. The only thing I would recommend is taking the animals out of the 3 parts. The show was good enough without having the elephants, camels, and zebras involved. I cried the day after telling my friends about the broken spirits of these animals. One main reason I stopped being an attendee for the other circuses. For me it brought down the quality of the show to fully enjoy it. In conclusion, great show and loved the fact the audience was able to be involved.

Same story, same experience! Purchased 8 tickets to a show with a status of postponed since March with a no update or further details. It s a Global pandemic for heavens sake, and they are the only business that s not allowing for refunds. They will not respond to calls or emails. I will never support another show they have or purchase anything through Ticketmaster again.

I recently went to the show in DC... For the first, and last time. I was horrified to see animal acts with camels, zebras, dogs and horses with people jumping all over their backs.
This is absolutely inhumane. They should be ashamed of themselves for thinking that this is good family entertainment.
They attempt to teach kids to treat each other with dignity and respect, but are hypocrites as they manipulated and mistreated animals with such ignorance and disregard. Shouldn't we be teaching kids to treat ALL life with respect and dignity?
The gospel act at the end had us walking out completely disgusted and repulsed by what we had just experienced.
The show could be entertaining without abused and injured animals being exploited. I saw one camel take a misstep and was quickly whipped by a man in the ring. The whip wrapped itself around the poor camel's neck as the man tried to pull it off. This is NOT entertainment. I want my money back as I did not pay to see animals being tortured and exploited.
These poor creatures need to be sent to a sanctuary or rescue. They deserve better than this inhumanity.
Please, someone, stop this!

It was great and hearttening for my Godkids & I to to see Black people Owning, Operating, working together, collaborating, enjoying shared POSITIVE Family experince like the CIrcus.
In these dark days and age of the Deterioration and Destruction of the BlackFathers & True Famiy life within and from without by every factor of American Society, it was good to see FATHERS with thier children and Black Men & Women together in a Loving , Harmonious state for the Joy & Benefit of the Children, be it thier children or not. We as The descendants & now representatives of Black society in this uniquely American Experience& E xperiment are part of this Social Media & Judgement Age better learn to define ourselves as a group or be defined, categorized , dealt with and exterminated asa group. Social injustice hate, fear, trollism, loss of core values , Family and others, plus many other factors including a responsible Black identity is a lot to overcome form within as well as the outright OVERT & ever sinister COVERT Bias and Racism that we live in everyday. the UniverSoul Circus reminds us that we can work, play, enjoy, agree, disagree & compromise for the common Good and Goal of Family and Our Children, who are the Future Parents and representatives of the Black Diapora whether we like it or not. We need to be more courageous to create & support more OUTANDING, COURAGEOUS endeavors and efforts that bring us together insted of " going in" and tearing us apart.

I didn't know any circuses still used live animals these days. Such a disappointment because it really ruins what could be a good show with acrobats alone. I don't condone animal abuse or the mistreatment of them, so I can't recommend.
Shame on people for still supporting this and teaching their children to.

We love this circus ,we love the fact that their acts or perfomances are based on human skills and inginuity unlike other circuses whom rather use animals , in my opinion the motorcycle act is just AMAZING !

I loved it. It's like a big party. So much fun. I'm going again next time it's in N.C.

I have been taking my family to the UniverSoul Circus since 2000 and it has always been GREAT, EXCITING, FRIENDLY AND ENTERTAINING. The 2019 show was lackluster Or forced. There was no clowns, we loved and enjoyed taking our photos with the clowns who came to our seats. The Fresh town clowns have gone so HOLLYWOOD they wouldn't take pictures, weren't smiling and more so just do a job with attitude. I remember they would walk around during the show talking to the kids and taking free photos, I didnt even mind paying the $10 for a photo with them. But my daughter asked for a photo and they told her they cant take any. HUH! Kids like my daughter put them where they are watching them on YouTube, voting for them on the apollo and coming to the circus. We always looked forward to going to the UniverSoul Circus every year. But this year the Soul was gone! I spent over $300 to visit the UniverSoul Circus and I walked away thinking the show is over, its lost the SOUL. Now its just Univer Circus. Lucky and Zek does a great job without a new ringmaster. There was to much going on with that. And that ending was way to much, I go to church on Sunday! Some of the new acts didn't deliver this year. I was disappointed appointed.

HAD A GREAT TIME! The kids really enjoyed the Detroit show. The presentation was fantastic and a lot of great crowd interaction. When it initially started the crowd wasn't into it, but the performers and the clowns worked hard to get the crowd going and they succeeded. By the end of the show, everyone was dancing and laughing together. Great acts as well, especially the WHEEL OF DEATH!

The show was amazing and the crowd interaction is hands down the best I have ever experienced. You must attend this show!!

My family and I have been enjoying the universal soul circus for many years

The first time I went to the soul circus was back in 2001 and again in 2012! My family and me we always have a great time and the performances are always awesome and better each year! I can't wait to go again!

Stop exploiting innocent animals. Use your talents to get crowd`s attention and respect, not wild animals. It is 2017, show some compassion to these poor animals.

I enjoyed it. But it will be nice to change the show up! It's the same thing I saw 10years ago for the 1st time. This is my third or maybe Fourth time since then; its the same thing with different people.

We have attended the Universoul Circus every year for the past 6 years. We purchased tickets to see the show again this past March (box seats as always), but due to COVID-19 the show has been "postponed". I am highly disappointed that patrons have not been given the option to receive a refund, and for this reason they have permanently lost loyal customers! We will never attend another Unviersoul Circus show again!

Amazing show, they really do an amazing job drawing in the crowd and keeping the kids engaged throughout the show.

Aubrey, Annette and me had so much fun. Very entertaining, our first time going 3/10/2018. Planning on seeing UniverSoul circus again next year. Aubrey got to ride a camel.

My daughter and I really enjoyed the show. Lots of good music, dancing, and great interaction with the audience. All of the performers put on a really great show!!! The animals were beautiful and looked well cared for. The fire dancers were outstanding and the motorbike riders near the end are awesome!! Overall, it is a show that is worth every penny when you see the skill and dedication of the performers. We look forward to going again in the future!

Hello, I wanted to bring a troubling incident to the public's attention in regards to safety at the show. First and foremost the first thing that I noticed upon arrival that there were no security checkpoints at all. It was off-putting given the circumstances around mass attacks currently plaguing our society. I understand that this is a circus and we shouldn't have to worry about this, however, at the same time, guest safety should be your highest priority at all times. Any and everything can be flowing through your tent and you wouldn't even know. This brings me to the exact incident this review is about. After our show we were attempting to exit Floyd Bennet Field and make our way back towards Kings Plaza, the line for the free shuttle bus was tremendously long so we decided to sit on one of the orange barriers that surround the shuttle waiting area. A few moments later a car comes barreling toward us attempting to park ( in a space that isn't a designated parking space) Of course people in the crowd were upset and began to make remarks to each other about the incident. The man in the cat eventually gets out of the car dressed in a pink suit with a green dental floss in his mouth and says to me " Are you good? Enjoy the show" he then proceeds towards the entrance and as he's walking he purposely lifts up the back of his suit on the right side revealing a holstered gun. He then proceeds to the entrance and goes into the tent. I just wanted to make you guys aware of the situation, and that there are weapons that are flowing right into your tent.

After diving in further into the history and leadership, the guy in the pink suit appears to be Cedric Walker, the owner of the circus. I'm not 100% sure however the face and the voice all mimic the guy we encountered. If this is the case..... There's a serious problem.
