Academically this is a great school. Classes are typically small so that you can know your professor on a more personal level. St. Thomas also has a program called the ACTC program that allows students to take classes at Macalester, St. Catherine's, Augsburg, and Hamline. The food isn't the healthiest, but there are ways around that. If health isn't an issue for you then the food is pretty great. There is plenty to do on campus to keep busy, and it Is a beautiful campus. St. Thomas is the perfect college experience in my opinion, but if you are more into fraternities and a very busy atmosphere it might not be the best for you.

I never attended here, but they have an incredibly beautiful campus. The grounds are really well kept. I also had a chance to walk around the inside. They have done lots of recent renovations and additions - they all look great.

Saint Thomas was a wonderful school for business finance and accounting. I had many amazing teachers, most of whom where industry professionals working as part time teaching adjuncts because they liked teaching. Met average class size was under 20 people and i personally got to know most of my professors. I am so thankful for my education and i enjoyed my 4 years of school. I look forward to sending my Kids here some day ( if they want to go to school).

While attempting to register to take a class here, I had the unfortunate experience of interacting with Julius Bwabye. Needless to say, I am taking my business elsewhere. Very unpleasant and rude person.

I went here for 3 semesters. Biggest waste of money and time. I'm sure it'd be a great school of your parents paid for it, or if you enjoy debt. It seems like it would be a great opportunity if you plan on worming your way up the corporate ladder through networking not through experience or knowledge of your subject.

Professors and experience was good.

Professors and experience was good.

My only complaint is that this University will do everything in its power to charge you money for random things. Your $42000 is not enough. You will understand what I mean if you end up going here.

Before I came to the University of St. Thomas, I was very nervous about the transition from high school to college. When I arrived on campus the upperclassmen, professors, and other staff member around campus did what they could to make me feel welcome. Everyone is very friendly and it feels like a family. Although I am only about 30-40 minutes away from home, I did not go home until Thanksgiving break because I love all of the activities the school has to offer on weekends; I felt as if I would miss something great going on around campus. Although I do miss my family, the people at St. Thomas have done everything they can to make it feel like a second home. I cannot wait for the next three and a half years I get to spend on this beautiful campus!

I ve been at the University of Saint Thomas for a semester and I ve learned more here than I did during my time at other schools in Minnesota. It can be expensive to go here but if there are students in need, the university has the resources to accommodate those who need it. You just have to ask and be willing. If you have a 1.0 GPA... you may not be seen as a good candidate for much help though. Lastly, the campus is beautiful and the professors are amazing.

Currently a junior here at UST double majoring in Operations/ Supply Chain Management and Catholic Studies, and I love it here! I have had great support both with choosing my career path and in my development as a person. The faculty here has helped me realize how I can use my God-given gifts to the best of my ability to better the world. I have met fantastic friends who push me everyday to grow in my Catholic faith, and I know for a fact that these are life-long connections. Campus Ministry here is awesome- they put on many retreats, events, and multiple masses on campus each day. The faculty within the Business school and the Catholic Studies department have also been so helpful inside and outside the classroom, and I know it to be the same in other departments as well. At St. Thomas, there is a close-knit community. It is hard to describe, but as a student here you truly feel like you are a part of something bigger than yourself. 5 stars, two thumbs up, 10/10.

Private universities should be banned. Its tuition cost reinforces a class system which is unfair to everyone's humanity. This place gets one star and not 0--soley b/c jack nelson pallmeyer teaches here

I would not recommend ordering books from the bookstore. I placed an order with them almost a month ago, requesting that it be shipped as I am 40 minutes from campus and had received an email that they shipped the books, but with no order number or tracking and they charged my account. I never received my books and I had called three times, each time being told that the books "must be on their way". Classes started and I was panicking because I wasn't able to do the homework for my masters classes. I finally got ahold of another person in the bookstore and they said my books have been sitting there the entire time and were never shipped. Thank you St. Thomas bookstore for making the beginning of my masters program extremely stressful, like going back to school isn't already stressful enough.

I m a freshman here right now and I love it! St. Thomas is great and has so much to offer. One of my favorite things about St. Thomas is it s location. We are in a beautiful area of St. Paul and are a seven minute bus ride away from downtown Minneapolis. The Mississippi river is also right down the street and has miles of excellent walking paths and bike paths. I also really love the size of our campus. It s the perfect, not too big, not too small school. I also love the size because of the amazing access it gives you to the faculty. My classes are small and all my professors know my face and name and are always ready to help with anything. The people are great and to top it all off, the campus is insanely beautiful! St. Thomas is an excellent school!

Although the school is expensive, I believe the quality of professors, education, and courses taught at St. Thomas is worth the money. The courses I've taken has open my eyes to how complex, diverse, and fascinating the world is around me. I feel supported academically (by tutors, professors, academic counselors, etc.), financially, socially, emotionally, and psychologically at this institution. I am not Catholic, but I still feel accepted and comfortable collaborating with students who have different views than me. I am proud to call myself a Tommie.

St. Thomas is a wonderful academic community and the faculty is extremely helpful! The campus is beautiful in all seasons. I am so glad I am able to go to St. Thomas and share that experience with peers that enjoy it as much as I do!

The philosophy and Catholic Studies departments at this university are stellar. I hope that this university continues to find its identity in its patron, and doesn't stray from the tradition it originated from.

Why only four stars? ROI, return on investment. GREAT SCHOOL, I just didn't know I could not afford it. Even after student aid I acquired too much debit. I have a challenging personal budget paying $1,200 a month on $80,000 in debit. I lived at home and was frugal, but the reality is I should not have gone here because I could not afford to. Buyer beware.
