Fun stop on an afternoon downtown/campus walking tour(along with the Geology museum) with kids. Air hockey! Bowling!

Beautiful location for a wedding. Excellent food and service except for 1 bartender that was agitated when I asked for an unfamiliar cocktail. That's the only negative aspect that I can think of! 5 stars for sure.

A beautiful building supported through student 'dues' and enjoyed by the whole community.

Got UW Madison bus pass and I-card from this place. Also there is a bank and food plaza. Nice place to keep visiting, many international cultural programs for students organized here

Great place to watch a free movie at the Marquee, eat Babcock ice cream, or watch the primetime Badger game. Also a computer lab available.

Very useful student hub. Everything is overpriced because it is for students though.

The recently rebuilt Union South is a spectacular building, many new amenities. The first floor tavern has excellent food and great service.

There s a bowling place in here that I recommend for midnight bowling it s super fun.

Nice place...you can get chief and qood quality food ...in the evening you can play bowling and billiards...

Lots of great study spots, can be long lines when school is in session especially around lunch time. If you want food, don't go around 11:30-1

The tour was very nice, and the tour guide was good at what he did. We also had ice cream and it was delicious. I would recommend going to the university of Wisconsin cuz it's a chill laid back environment with public services(buses, food, drinks, band concerts etc.).

Can be crowded and maybe not the best food or options. But it's nice for studying - loud areas and quiet areas, inside and outside.

Cool building at first until you realize how stupid the design is. First off, there should be double the tables for students to study. Second, the food court was poorly designed. Third, why is the so few outlets to charge your stuff???

This is the place to be before every home Badger Football game!

There is NO parking except for meters closer to the stadium. Plan way ahead if going on weekday while classes are in session. Great pizza + Babcock Ice Cream!

Good selection of beer and a theater size screen to watch games on. Beer is a little pricy and the tables rarely get cleaned. Otherwise, it s a solid spot to watch a game.

Lots of different kinds of food, tons of places to sit and study, there's even weekly trivia and regular events. Kept very clean, only downside is its crowded during the day, but hey, it's a big college.

Union South is an amazing place for the university and the Madison community. So many things to do here.

Great hangout!!! Babcock Ice Cream at the "Daily Scoop" is a MUST [Orange-Custard-Chocolate-Chip is the BEST flavor in the world!] ... quiet spaces, food, tea, beer, free movies, meeting rooms, activities (the viewing area for the "rock" climbing is fun to watch)

This place is such a nice place to study or do whatever. You can enjoy the free movie theater or so some bowling, billiard, climbing, you can play with the he Wii or other consoles and have pretty good food.

It's Union South - lots going on here. Events, food, studying. It's usually open until midnight or 1 am so it's ideal for late night studying.

You have to go to Union South at least 1 hour before a home Wisconsin Badger's football game. Fun......

Good place for a wedding reception. Very good food, parking not so great.

Good food. Rockwall is cool. Lots of things to do and places to work. Bus consistancy is horrible, but that's not their fault

Because of its size, it has space to engage in reading, conversation, playing or watching a movie

It has free Wi-Fi, many places to study, a movie theatre, many restaurants and an info lab where folks can use the computers to go about their assignments

Beautiful building. Exactly half way between home and Kohl Center. On a cold day, great place to have a bathroom break and grab a beer.

Information desk. Food. Other Union on North side of campus is larger and on the Lakeshore.

Had some very cozy spots throughout the building and the classroom seats were very comfortable with flexible backrest. Sounds perfect doesn't it ?

Union South has very few descent food options. It's really quite sad that the University of Wisconsin can't house better food at one of its two student unions.
Urban Pizza- awful crust and weird spices on a generally unpalatable greasy piazza.
The Set- bar food. Super.
Harvest Grains- small menu, but ok sandwiches and salads. Currently closed.
Ginger Root- huge line every day since it's the only food option at Union South that's reliably a good meal at a fair price.

Campus is large and designed well. Roads was not complicated. Cafeterias are enough for student, teachers and guests.

Nice place. Was able to find the room with free beer and food even on badger saturday. Some dude bought beef for $1000

It's an excellent place for pre game for Badgers football. They have the band around. You can get food and drinks inside. Plus the stadium is very close by.

The students at the campus information desk were very helpful. Loved the environment all around. The daily scoop was our must stop both the days we were on campus. Hope to come back soon.
