Great place for gathering around Badger Football games!

Awesome place, but where are the power outlets?!? Get with the times!

From bowling to tapas, from art galleries to quiet study spaces, Union South has it all. Pizza, Asian, Pub fare, (did I mention Alpha King on tap?) you'll find it here. Union South is part of Wisconsin Union, which is a member organization, so be prepared to show a Wiscard when ordering food and beer. Watch Badger games, free movies on weekends or just sit by the fire and reflect on life. Union South is one UW Campus building not to be missed!

Fun place to visit. Food options are pretty good. We love the ice cream...Babcock of course. Great place for lunch after science Saturdays.

Great place to enjoy pregame Badger activities; excellent resources for students. Avoid studying here midday on Saturdays.

The campus is not enclosed but spread across the city area.

An amazing place over all. The hotel is absolutely phenomenal and there are plenty of places to eat inside (A must try is the Sett). If you want to do something fun there is bowling, rock climbing, billiards, board games, and video games.

Very recently built student union building with restaurants, cafes, and a hotel in the upper floors. Very clean.

Nice open areas, usually packed with students obviously. Might have trouble finding a seat, but the food offerings are worth trying if you can take them elsewhere to actually eat.

One of the best unions in the country. This, along with Memorial Union, is a great spot for students, staff, and alumni to socialize and engage.

Busy as hell, but reasonably quick and cheap for lunch. Don't look for the line that is the shortest, look for the line that is moving the fastest.

A great place to hang out with friends and/or family. Fairly good food, though prices are a bit high at certain restaurants.

UW Marching band concert 1 hour before kickoff is my favorite!

I had so much fun...watching mostly playing pool...bowling...and some silly pictures ..on top of that food was delicious...

The sett is fun. Air hockey is $1 to play. Bowling lanes are nice. Rock wall looked really cool.

Super fun for families and friends. The food is what you expect for a university, but the beer is always cold and that's what counts.

Alright food at moderately high prices. It is a good venue for meetings and events though, and I do like seeing movies here with friends! Also nice for studying in groups, but I wouldn't study here by myself since it gets noisy and difficult to focus.

Very nice building even if you aren't a student. Seating can be pretty difficult to find during busy times though. Has a very nice event space as well.

Top gyro space in the county. I really just order the gyros only. No need to mess woth the best item. Nice people

Did vino incognito and had a great time learning about wines and sitting by the fire. Excellent way to spend a cold evening.

Really great place to study and get some food. Atmosphere changes depending on the time of day.

The first visit is fine. The second, dandy. Soon though, it will wear your soul (and your stomach) to a dull nub. The chicken at ginger root is often cooked until it can double as construction material. Every dish, no matter the title, is green peppers, onions, and overcooked chicken. I give it 5/7.

One of the best place on the campus to grab a snack or just chill out. The Ice cream place is not to be missed!
