Historic city club in a cool 1920's era building and a great community of members who give back to the greater Chicago community. Athletics department offers massage, manicure/pedicure, haircuts, personal training, pilates, yoga, spin classes, handball and squash all at low prices compared to other places in town. An amazing bar and restaurants with a super attentive staff for after you workout plus art events, family events, public policy events including top authors such as Misty Copeland, Condoleeza Rice, Chris Hayes and more. The art collection is world class including a Monet and a large collection of pieces from top Chicago artists from the last 100 years. The Union league has become our second home.

Unusual and old timey! Kinda neat, kinda stuff. The private club vibe is notable. Felt like I was at my great grandmother s house. Smells like an old museum. Worth a visit if you have a way in.

This was my first time here. The venue is beautiful and the food was excellent. The service was wonderful. Compared to other clubs I've been to in the Loop, the Union League Club is by far the best.

As an artist, I always loved the Union League Club of Chicago. The reception tonight, Thursday December 6, 2018 for my one-man show "Landscapes, Layers, and Life" was fabulous. Thank so much for the opportunity.

Great venue in the City for a business meeting or private event. The staff is very attentive to the details and very helpful for both members and guests.

The rooms are tastefully decorated and food menu items are always changing for daily specials.

Beautiful private club in the middle of Chicago. Members can get a fantastic rate on hotel rooms, and has the best trivia night in town. Members-only, but you may know someone who knows someone who can get you in. ;-)

I have not stayed here or listened to a statesman speak but a group I am associated with meets here weekly. It is truly a remarkable place just by the architecture and the people that you meet inside. They are a huge supporter of veterans and the military which is a huge plus for me. Check this place out if you are down town.

Beautiful space for luscious events, and an American art collection that earns listing amongst the best of the state's. I was at the Union League Club for 2 days of trade events and staff were ever courteous and helpful, though the event space was chilly. Whoever the caterer was, its food was delicious. Note that bluejeans are NOT allowed in the building.

Has an employee is not a nice place to work for ....i was there as employee for 4 months and as Christian very hard to work with a bunch of drug addicts ....yes this club does not require a drug test to work there so as a server i was doing 40 covers with no buss boy ...because they don't want to spend money to hire a dishwasher. ..so they took my busser to do dishes and then they want cero mistakes. ..everything has to be perfect but they are far by been perfect. ...this is a 1 star club ...i have worked for the Four Seasons Hotel and i know about service. ...I'm trying to hire a lawyer because as Christian i was discriminated. ..their new manager zach call me a lier but hey drug addicts lie more & all the time not me ...if they do a drug test to their employees they would lose many but hey this club supports the Drug Cartels for not doing a drug test at least upon hiring. .....very very disappointed to work here for 4 months was a nightmare!!!!

A private club only accessible to or through members. Nicely appointed, deep in history, and with a variety of meeting spaces inckuding banquet areas. It also also has a restaurant, lounge and hotel accommodations. I would rate it a 5 if it we're more public. I have always only been there through associations with which I am connected such as railroad associations and ivy league schools.
