Union City Police Department Review

this city and ALL government officials do absolutely nothing to help the citizens. when police have been called to our place of business they don't want to write a report, and when they do its not ready until you nearly have to beg for it for 2 weeks. they are covering up for the criminals in this town. public thinks they hear a lot about union city on the news, well you outta hear what goes on when the news isn't reporting. this place is pathetic.

Sorry no one after trying 13 different extensions will pick up the phone. This is no surprise since no where you call in this area does anyone pick up the phone

The best police department in the state of Georgia.

The officers are always courteous on once they FINALLY arrive....

The nine eleven operators are pitifully inept and slow and...
The officers response time is ALWAYS in excess of 5 minutes...
I'm a business owner in Union City...
This is not only ridiculous it's dangerous for me and any other law abiding citizen who needs immediate assistance.

5 minutes is long enough for me to be murdered and the suspect be on the expressway and long gone.

Completely unacceptable!

I was unfortunately involved in a car accident in union city, Ga. I gave the office 6 business for a police report to be available for pick up and lets just say every time I called it was never ready. I was told that the supervisor was in class everyday and it is now about to be three weeks since my accident and no police report can someone please help me

The officer told me that my case report would be available in one week. I m going on 2 and still no report. The department is not efficient.

I have so much respect an admiration for union city officer's.They truly protect an serve. An they are always so professional.Also thanks Officer Owens for always keeping my neighborhood safe.Godbless.

Normally, I am in support of our officers and I commend those of them who try there best to follow an almost impossible task and mission. I just don't feel they are transparent in how they deal with situations prior to gain the whole picture of a situation. Try harder officers, be fair and honorable.

Unprofessional wanna be bullies who were picked on in high school. Poor communication and even worse follow through.

This police department has deplorable service. And sergeant baker in particular should be reprimanded, She is rude and unprofessional.

Cop reported to my home and refused to do a report.

It s like they all have diabetes or something

Cop had his right hand on his gun the whole time while in my home all because I asked him not to enter my home. Tried to intimidate me by holding his gun.

Crackheads with badges

I called them for a week and when I finally got someone, they made me feel like I was bothering them. Not cool!

I myself is normally in full support of officers and the Police Departments, but however Union City needs to want to fully work their cases. This department needs to do what they say they are going to do, instead of going into neighborhoods with mere conversation trying to smooth over known situations that have not been disclosed in order for people to better protect themselves to prevent future situations. This department only wants to ride in their taxpayer paid vehicles pretending to be protecting and serving. More importantly, their follow through is trash, and being honorable should be on their list of priorities.

I have the utmost respect for our men and women in uniform, but this entire department is rude, disrespectful and unprofessional, especially considering they are PAID BY THE TAXPAYERS!
These folks are outright disrespectful to others.

My experience with the union city police department has been nothing but professional. That said there are enough bigger deal crimes going on that they dont make a huge deal about petty to moderate things. That in my opinion is both good and bad, to many pretty situations turn worse than need be with more overzealous departments leading to a general mistrust of police officers.Have been having trouble with a seemingly crazy trespasser.Their response time is great if you live in city limits. At least this has been my experience with the limited times I have interacted with them

First let me apologize to Officer Demani (not sure of the spelling) Williams for putting him in danger by driving in a way that necessitated his involvement, please forgive me. Officer Williams was kind, considerate and thoughtful while cautioning me of the perils of driving in the morning rush hour traffic. What really impressed me was his sincerity and genuine concern.
