We LOVED our stay in the Luxury Glamping Tents. I am not a camper, so this was the perfect mix of rustic and necessities that I needed. (Bathroom, a/c, and coffeemaker!). Our boys loved riding their bikes, and we loved the river access. Make sure to bring water shoes for the river. Also no cell service and wifi never connected for us. Which is fine, I needed to unplug. But I wasn t prepared for no access to the outside world and worried about our dog sitter, but everyone survived! We ve already booked our trip for next year!!!

One of the nicest campgrounds.. excellent bath house! Very clean and well laid out. Fun place on the river, cool playground, fun family events, and friendly staff. I wish they could find a solution for parking..no where to park..super tight in RV spots..they are wide with great fire pits and nice patio..but not long enough for cars to park. Church service, family nights, and food trucks are a great touch. Plenty to do there..just crowded/congested at times.

A huge improvement from a few years ago. What a difference new owners can make! Incredible updates to the bathhouses and cabins as well as nice touches like paved river access and a cafe. This place is for anyone, whether you want to camp, glamp or stay in a cabin or tiny home. Still the nicest setting in Townsend!

I basically grew up in this place when it was Tremont. It was pretty great back then and then not so great for a few years. I appreciate the lax attitude and honor system now. There s no need for a bunch of unnecessary rules outside of safety related matters. The WiFi is good as it can be and the amenities are nice. I applaud the new owners for upgrading appropriately without compromising the appeal of nature and camping.

There's no place like home... Thanks Carmen, Brad, Sherri, Chad, and your kids..., Yes, their children are an active part of the running of Little Arrow, and we can't forget Sherri #2 - - a. k. a. Sunshine Y'all work hard to make our stay here feel like we've come home! Thanks for the memories!

Quite, clean, river access, pool, playground, etc. Great place to stay. Patio area with picnic tables and fire pits surrounded with pavers. Gravel RV parking with gravel roads. Very close to Smokies and Cades Cove. We do plan to visit again.

FANTASTIC on every level! Everyone here was so happy! Families, kids, dogs, bingo, bikes, bonfires, s mores(!), location location location - you re walking distance right into the GSMNP! And the coffeehouse, oh my! Kudos to the amazing staff - SO sweet and informative and welcoming. Carmen, one of the owners, was so chill and happy to meet anyone who walked through the door! It s our third trip there, and we are already planning the fourth!!! Go...you will not regret (or forget) it

We camped in the A side with a river view at Tremont, Memorial Day weekend 2015. The location is great, the campground it's self was clean, the camp sites are close but we had plenty of room and at night there is some road noise which we did not mind. The A side is supposedly wire for 30 amps per site, if it is a warm or hot day and and everyone has their AC on, refrigerator on electric and hot water heater on electric, the sites cannot not handle the load and will trip the breakers. I went to the office and was told someone would be sent to check the breaker. After going back to the office a 3rd time for no power, a old grumpy gentleman came down and told me we would have to run our hot water heater on propane to keep the breaker from tripping. He also told me my camper was pulling a full load even if nothing was on, the office offered no discount for us having to use our own propane. I have an electrical background and when I checked the wire size feeding the campground breaker panel, I found that the feeder wire was severely over loaded. We are planning another trip this fall and will only stay at Tremont if we can get into side B which has 50 amp service. My rating is for side A only and because of the rude staff, their refusal to upgrade the power I cannot give Tremont Campground more than 3 stars.

This campground is located in Townsend near the Cades Cove area GSMNP. The park is mostly shaded, campsites on the Little River for easy access to tubing and fishing, The staff is super friendly and helpful. The facilities are clean; cable TV; and workable wifi. A great place for families and for motorcycle enthusiasts. It is NOT for those looking for a quiet retreat. The proximity to the main highway and the over zealous Harley riders made for a very noisy stay.

Newly renovated, very nice. Bathrooms very clean and updated. RV spots are good sized with large stone firepits, ours had a built in grill grate on the firepit, not sure if all of them have that or not. Nice paved patio area at the spot. Helpful, friendly staff. When we got there, the person in our spot who was supposed to have left that day had not unhooked their camper, was not at the campground, and wouldn't answer their phone. The owners gave them till about 45 minutes past check-out time to show up, brought a tractor over, unhooked their camper, and moved it so we could hook up. They gave us a free bundle of firewood for the trouble. They have a large community firepit with rocking chairs and a very nice playground.

So I recently did my third visit to little arrow campground. I find campground Well designed, upscale, clean and well maintained . However I think it s quite expensive and not worth the money. Also I found that staff are not very helpful when it comes to returning calls. I left voicemails for three weeks in a row trying to get another day added to my trip. I never once received a return phone call. Due to the expense and the lack of customer service I think this will be my last visit. But I do wish them much luck with their campground.

The GOOD:

The GOOD:
- The location is great if you are there to relax and experience the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Townsend is my favorite gateway to the Smokies and doesn't have all the tacky touristy stuff. Little Arrow is just yards away from GSMNP with the Little River flowing by.
- The staff were super friendly and helpful.
- The entire property is clean and well kept.
- Lots of extra amenities if that's what you're looking for.
The BAD:
- Zero privacy with campsites, glamping tents, and tiny homes stuck just about anywhere they will fit. My fire pit was literally 6 feet from my neighbor's sewer connection.
- The price...it's hard for me to justify, but they seem to cater to yuppies looking for an outdoor experience so I guess they have no problem.
OVERALL:
It's a nice place if it has the atmosphere you're looking for, and the owners appear to take pride in the facilities and cater to their guests. I personally like a more 'woodsy' feel and to have more privacy between sites, and I have a hard time paying a premium price to get neither.

We have been coming here for 9 years now and it just keeps getting better. Love the quiet and tranquility of the park. The staff are very attentive and friendly and have bent over backwards for us. The kids play area, the coffee shop, the holiday/season decorations are always beautiful enough for family photo sessions. We drive all the way from Texas each year to enjoy this little piece of Heaven

This has been one of our favorite places to stay! It's great for the kids! Nice playground and pool and the river access is a plus. The only reason for 4 stars is because we would really like to have seen paved roads. The small children were unable to ride their little bikes and scooters around the campsite. Also, the internet access was not very good unless you were inside the coffee shop, and the cell service was almost non existent which makes it hard to do any work from the camper. Other than that we really enjoyed it and would for sure stay there again!

I am one of the many hard working people doing hardscape there. We all are making it a dream place to bring your family to. I definitely recommend going! Beautiful place and it's not even finished yet, so imagine what it will look like.

WOW! This is a one of a kind experience. You cannot beat the location. The staff are amazing and the outdoor resort is absolutely incredible. The entire site has been upgraded and remodeled with attention to every detail! This place is a must!

The Tiny House we rented for a week was perfect. The house and the communal areas of the resort were well maintained. The pool and hiking path behind the grounds were an added bonus. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location with the proximity to the hiking trails in the national park was very convenient.

The spots were fairly easy to get into, the amenities were incredible and the bath houses were modern and clean. Activities for the kids were great and access to the river was great too. I m definitely going to be staying here again.

We had such an incredible time at Little Arrow. It was so nice to get away from all the commercialism of pigeon forge and actually experience the Great Smokey mountains for what it is. This resort is conveniently located near Cades cove with all the hiking and beautiful scenery. The resort also had a ton of stuff for the kids to do. Can't wait to go back!!

This was our first glamping experience, but it was...

This was our first glamping experience, but it was not at all what we expected. Although Little Arrow Resort includes tent sites, air streams, and glamping sites, the vibe here is very much an RV campground. The website and photos very much oversell the setting in nature and any sense of seclusion. When we were there a few weeks ago, it was way too crowded, the internet was spotty at best (even in the "cafe" you have to forget and re-log into the network over and over again until it finally works until you leave the room), the staff didn't restock nearly enough hand towels and TP (one morning there was no TP to be found anywhere!), and 2 of the 3 bathroom stalls don't lock or close fully in the bath house.

If you have kids or a camper/RV, I would recommend it, but if you're looking for relaxation and a natural setting, keep on looking!

On behalf of The RV Bunch, a group of RVers: "What a wonderful place on the quiet side of the Smokies. They have something for everyone - camping sites, cabins, glamping tents and tiny homes, and a dog park! The managers are absolutely wonderful. One of the best!! Looking forward to staying there again."

We have camped at Little Arrow several times over the last couple of years. Sitting at the base of the Great Smoky Mountains it has a natural beauty that only God can provide. The sounds of the river add to the already peaceful atmosphere and it has always been filled with courteous and respectful campers.

As amazing as the surroundings of this place might be, it is overshadowed by a kind and caring staff. Each and every person there, will go above and beyond expectations, no matter the request, and always with a smile.

We have camped with a group several times and not once has anyone left unsatisfied. In fact, management has always surprised us by, yet again, being kind and creative in helping us with our own unexpected issues.

I would recommend Little Arrow to any and all campers. You best plan ahead though, it fills up extremely fast. We have our site reserved for September 2021. Back in on the river .... can t wait.

My husband and I recently stayed in Little Arrow Outdoor Resort for 6 nights in early November 2019. We have never been in a more well maintained or more beautiful campground! You can choose between traditional camping in your own RV/Tents, Mini Houses, Glamping Tents, Airstreams, or Cabins. They have a beautiful stream that borders the property and a hiking trail that allows you scenic views overlooking Townsend, Tennessee. The resort grounds and accommodations are immaculate, fresh, and look new! Additionally, their store has great gift items and snacks. There is a cozy coffee house that makes you want to settle in with a cup while you plan your vacation from racks of Smoky Mountain brochures! Most importantly, the owners and employees are a caring group who want to make your stay the best it can possibly be! Don't miss the opportunity to stay here! We'll be back! Thank you Little Arrow Outdoor Resort.

MacDaddy of all campgrounds! After owning this place for only a few years they have turned this Campground into a five star resort. Bathrooms you would only expect in a high-end Hotel. They have an outstanding staff. The owners are Hands-On. Every time we come back there's always some new Improvement to amaze us. My only problem with making this recommendation is that it will probably make it more difficult for me to get a reservation in the future. But they deserve to be known for their outstanding facility.

We had a great time at Little Arrow Glamping in one of the resorts Airstream trailers. Very well equipped with everything you needed. Great for 2 but we are messy campers so more occupants would be crowded. The weather was perfect and we had a great time cooking outside and hiking and enjoying the cooler weather. Only complaint about this site was the picnic table placement was too close to the camper door and the fire pit was behind the camper which was OK but not ideal. We would go again. Thanks Little Arrow.

We loved our stay at Little Arrow! We stayed in a Tiny Home, and it was nice and clean, had everything we needed, the only suggestion we have is adding small TVs in each of the bedrooms, loved the fire pits and the porch with the rocking chairs! We will definitely back!

Very noisy with constant vehicle traffic in and around the campground- ok for families that want to be able tube the river. Highlight of week were several excellent food trucks. No effort on anyone s part to take Corvus 19 precautions. None of the staff and vast majority of guests do not wear masks even when in close proximity indoors.

We had to cancel reservation Labor Day reservation due to work and have been trying to get a refund since June 28. We stayed at the campground when it was Tremont and liked it so well we thought we d give the new owners some business. Doubltful we will ever book with them in the future if they don t honor their cancellation policies and send refunds. Very disappointed!! I m sure they have rebooked on the site we had reserved - double the money for them.

Thank you for taking care of this.

Absolute gem, loved this campground. Employees are all friendly and helpful. Grounds are beautifulby maintained. Spaces are well set up, many available options for your stay. Pool has awesome loungers and pool towels. Coffee bar is well appointed, lots of books, kids play room, tables and comfortable chairs. Great gift shop. Teepee and playground for kids. The only drawback was the tight driveways. The guest walk by the river was in need of mulch. We will definitely be back again.

Stayed Memorial Day Weekend 2018 and had a great time. New owners and staff have done a wonderful job with renovations of the place and they are always interacting with visitors. The bath houses look great. The teepee and new playground is awesome for the kids. There was movie night and other kids activities throughout the weekend. The pool was busy as well as tubers on the river. The river sites have private balcony type pavilions. All the sites have gravel pads, fire pits, and patio areas with picnic tables. Prices are comparable with campgrounds in the area. There are also different cabins and tiny houses that you can rent. We will definitely be return customers throughout the years to come. Close to Cade's Cove. Several bears were visiting throughout the nights, so keep your trash put up and leave them alone, remember that you are in their home area visiting. I know there is so much more i forgot to mention, so you have to check it out for yourselves.

I was actually disappointed in this place for the money. First, the water pressure was terrible. Second, the cable kept going out and back in. Not a very good connection. Third, our site was not cleaned of debris, twigs, etc. I watched and I don't think they ever raked the sites so my recommendation would be to rake the sites. Also the lady who took my reservation, she could of put us in a site that was completely shade but instead said we had a beautiful site which was full sun. I would not go back. We left early.

We were originally booked to camp somewhere else on our week-long Smokey Mountain vacation but ended up switching last minute and booking a site at Little Arrow and boy are we glad that we did!!! We absolutely loved it here from the proximity to the park entrance, to being right on the Little River, to the super clean sites and amenities, to the cute little store filled with anything that you could need, to being on the "Quiet side of the Smokies!" Plus all of the employees who we talked to were awesome as well. We will definitely be back and would recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful, family friendly campground right outside of the National Park!

We stayed over Memorial Day weekend from Thursday to Monday. For those who like wifi, cable and cell phone service this is not the place for you. On Thursday (before the place got full) wifi worked fine. From Friday until we left it was nonexistent. Verizon hotspot didn't work because there is no reception. We brought our motorcycles and had trouble planning rides due to inability to get weather information. I was happy other than the above.

This place is hands down one of the BEST campgrounds!!! My husband and I, and his brother and his wife with their dog, Bear, stayed here in a camper Oct. 15-18th, 2020. Kid and dog friendly. There's a play area for kids, and a dog run further up. The owners are so nice and down to earth. Almost every campsite was occupied, and everyone was super friendly. The bath houses are nice and updated. They supply firewood and ice. They also have an awesome gift shop, and a coffee house! The river was gorgeous, I even saw an otter swimming in it!! We plan to come back next year!

We just wrapped up a 5 night stay here and it was awesome. We really liked staying in C loop because it wasn't as crowded as other loops and it is close to everything. The office and giftshop are very nice. You can find all of the essentials that you need along with some nice souvenirs to take home with you. We were also surprised to find out that the resort is less than .25mi from the GSMNP entrance so you are right there. Its only a 15 min drive to Cades Cove, 30 mins to Pigeon Forge, and 45 min to Gatlinburg. Our favorite thing about the resort was the coffee house which served awesome coffee, had plenty of comfy chairs to relax in, and has a playroom with toys & books for the kiddos. We will definitely be staying here again and would recommend it highly to others.

This place is a treasure in the mountains. Beautiful cabin with all the necessities you'll need. The decor is a real touch of class & just someplace you'll not want to leave, and it's only day 1..

The lady never told us that.

First time visiting this campground and also the first time camping. From the ease of the reservation until the time we left everything was perfect. The campsite was by far the best in the campground. It was right on the river and right by the steps down into the river. There is a little coffee lounge that offers free coffee and lots of creamers, sugars, etc. The pool was so clean and nice chairs as well as pool towels to use for free. (The only small complaint was the pool hours). The staff was always friendly and nice and always said hello with a smile when you saw them, which was quite often. The bathhouses were so nice and clean also. We will definately be back and will definately recommend to all our friends and family. And we also saw 3 bears or maybe the same bear 3 times lol.

This is a sweet place to take the family or a group of friends. We stayed in one of their tiny houses with our kids. They LOVED it!! So did we!! They have a pool, a playground, corn hole, three hammocks, a community fire pit, and pavilion. The tiny houses each have a personal fire pit. The place to check in also sells some of the cutest gifts and home decor. They also have fire wood and ice for purchase. They have sodas and snacks too!

It is a also a campsite and is close to the river. If you love the camping experience, but prefer a bit more glamping, Little Arrow is perfect!

This was our 2nd stay at Little Arrow campground! The staff and campground are amazing. They go out of their way to make your stay incredible. We had an issue with our cabin (which was nature related and couldn't be helped) and they were quick to upgrade us to another cabin and even offered to relocate our stuff for us. Little Arrow is by far the nicest campground we've ever stayed at :) Can't wait to go back!!!

We stayed in A-36 side on the river, river so nice, Would like to see cement pads installed for the motor homes and campers. We had problems with the electricity tripping the breakers, had to call and have them reset them 5 times, could not use everything we needed to use unless we cut off the air, and water heater, Our neighbor in the space beside us had the same problem. . I recommend them to fix the breakers so we can use what we need. The park was dirty and the spaces were not full as usual, the pool was closed for 2 days, without improvement we will not be back. The lady was rude that checked us in. The July 4th decor was still up for middle of July stay. We have camped there years before and it was great, not now.

This is a great quiet campground in Townsend Tennessee and it is a little piece of heaven on earth, we love it here. We always get an on-river site and you could just sit and listen to the river gurgling by all day, we love to sit in our zero gravity loungers and listen to the water and the people tubing and cat nap. At this campground, you can walk up to the Y in Townsend and get in the water on your tube and ride it right back to the camper, they have water access for you to get out at. The sites are always kept up and are clean and have cable and full hook ups. They have a pool and kids playground also they have tent sites, little cabins and big glamping tents and much more.... come check them out, just wait for me to make my reservations first.

Check in June 26th 2018. Remember that we left our cable hook up at home. Staff made us one free of charge. Had a few serve storms. They was cleaning up as soon as weather cleared. Neighbor camper had a limb hanging after storms. Within 3 hrs management had a tree service out correcting the problem. Could not ask for better management or staff. Most definitely return asap. Would recommend to anyone
