Hi, a family in Karthoum (Eritrean) would like to get refugee documents for two kids in Karthoum, nobody is answering, they are waithing 1 year that someone will call us. Can someone help us uf there is some othe place in Karthoum that 2 kids could be registered and get legal documents?

Please help!

UNHCR in Sudan is the United Nations. It is second to none of the organizations. They have been deeply rooted in the society of tremendous history and a wealth of knowledge and experience.

Particularly bad services of Sudanese employees. They deal with the refugees as if they were in a Sudanese government department and not in an international organization. The employee must forget that he is Sudanese because he represents an international body and not a local one.

They don't answer their calls and at times when you call them they close the phone in your face after they picked it up.

Resident protection for Syrians is offered for two years through the local refugee agency and there is no repatriation according to my last visit to the office in June 2019.

The transactions are complex and encourage illegal immigration

You can register at the office, but I do not guarantee your acceptance of immigration and resettlement, because after that you will pass the first interviews to determine your status and recognize you as a refugee, and the second to resettle you in a new country and the last to appear before a jury in that country

I am Yemeni, I am 18 years old, my family is in Saudi Arabia, and I went out for a final study in another country, and because of the situation, I had problems. I went back to Sudan and I cannot return to Saudi Arabia or Yemen because of the situation. I went to the center.
