Stylish bar and restaurant with friendly service and a good menu

Great food, great service, very friendly helpful staff, Ollie and Jane are fantastic hosts, SQ never disappoints!!

Amazing dinner here, big portions of good food. Definitely get the beef brisket nachos to start, it's practically a meal in itself! Drinks were great as well and service was excellent

I only ever get a decaff coffee here but it is a really good one. Not too pricy, tastes good. Atmosphere is great. Friendly bar staff.

Nice rooftop terrace. Bit swanky inside in a kind of unconvincing way. Food was decent. Deserts were especially good.

Stopped in here for a dessert. Absolutely delicious cheese cake and rhubarb crumble. Would heartily recommend.

Wonderful food! Absolutely divine! The macaroni cheese is the best I have ever tasted, as is the rice pudding! I can't wait to eat there again.

Lovely restaurant. We celebrated our anniversary as a large party. Meals all came out the same time. Excellent quality food. Friendly staff who fixed a problem immediately when brought to their attention. Live music if you wanted it on some occasions. Would definitely return when visiting the area again. Whether it's coffee, dinner, or g&t, I love SQ, its a great social hub and meeting point in the village. The staff are always attentive.

Its our new in place to be 1st class food and service we visit at least twice a week And have enjoyed every time ,the head chef real nice chap . All staff are fantastic the tall girl that runs around everywhere is a defo a asset meets you on arrival . See you in the week we norm sit up bye the chef bit . .

Extremely nice food, I struggled to find something I'd normally eat off the menu however I enjoyed everything I had. It is cheap for the quality of food if you eat off the set menu of 2 or 3 courses

We are local and have been eating here since it opened when the food and service was fantastic. Unfortunately it's been getting steadily worse, to the point our party left most of the food and had to go to the bar to pay the bill. Hoping they sort things out soon and I'm sure they will.

I suppose it's ok as there isn't much else to compare to in Braunton. Drinks are pricey as is most of North Devon in the summer.

Food and service very good. Glad we booked as seemed to be fully booked on Friday. Could not fault anything. Will definitely be back.
