I would never go to the emergency room at this UKB fully conscious. I can only call the whole treatment of my ankle fracture incompetent, condescendingly arrogant and without any sympathy for patients.

-5 everywhere but not there. Despite strong blood loss sent home and forgotten by the doctor. Simply given only tablets and sent back out. For me personally a failure to help. (In other KH he was immediately placed on the drip and hospitalized.)

First of all, I would like to say that I really have a lot of respect for the people who do this job.

I was admitted to the emergency room yesterday because I had a laceration on my head.
The nurse who measured my blood pressure right at the beginning was super nice. After that it got a bit difficult.
After about 2.5 hours I asked another nurse if she could tell me roughly how long it would take and yes I was really friendly because I can empathize with other people and situations and also understand that there is a lot going on in an emergency room .
But! Where my tolerance ends when I am tampered with, because of that I would see what is going on here.
The only thing I could see and hear, however, was how doctors and a few nurses were sitting in a circle and talking loudly about their sex life (I don't want to know who is what in which body orifice, especially when I'm with Pain lying there and waiting for treatment !!) Such topics simply belong in the break room or in private life.

What I was very happy about was the really nice doctor who calmed me down!

Terrible for taking appointment despite appointment. Waited until one bed was vacant, up to 6 hours. It was also not in order to catch a contact person for our concerns. Which made us happy again. A nurse and carer then lovingly took care of my mom. Blood sugar drooped. Then we went pretty fast. The OP itself was run super. Thanks a lot at this point. The lunch did not go. In my eyes a no go.

The staff is relatively nice, but the doctors working there are not great.
Especially a doctor who in the evening has no desire to treat anyone and then they go. X-rays and mrt were done and the statement from the doctor "there is nothing to keep you going".
After consultation and repeating images was then found that it was a rubble break in the UKB by X-ray could be festgellt.

A great hospital, I came lying in the car (as a passenger) in the emergency room. On request at the porter we were allowed to drive like an ambulance to the door. Since I could not sit or stand because of strong back pain, my girlfriend went to the registration. She came back with a sister with a couch. Absolutely top. Of course, the further process took a long time.
But that is also due to the people who could wait until Monday and go to the family doctor or on-call doctor!
I got painkiller and first examinations in between. Finally, I was admitted to hospital (16 days).
Many thanks to all sisters, Physio's and service staff, keep up the good work. Similarly good and motivated staff, I have only experienced in the Bundeswehr Hospital!
So now to the doctors ... so unfortunately point deduction. Super neurologist team.Good examination and pain medication. But of the neurosurgeon I would have expected more, in the end, he only wanted to operate (intervertebral disc). I asked for reflection and a second opinion and was then put out. Too bad .
But there are still possibilities for treatment without surgery. Everything is available in the hospital. Now I have to organize the appointment on an outpatient basis. Which unfortunately takes up unnecessarily much time.

IMPOSSIBLE ....... I would almost have been operated on the wrong arm if I hadn't noticed it myself in the file lying around before the operation!
After a few preliminary examinations for an outpatient arm operation, I was told a time for the operation at which no one was there and I had to wait three hours in a hallway because the waiting room was blocked with various utensils. The patient's room, which was assigned to me after several inquiries, was totally unfriendly in terms of hygiene - the entire toilet in the bathroom was completely smeared with dried blood, which was only cleaned superficially and listlessly after asking twice.
When the operation was finally about to start, I noticed in the patient file lying around that, despite several preliminary examinations at the UKB, the left arm should be operated on instead of the right !! that was absolutely awesome .... But since the sedative pill was not given before the operation, I could still say that the right arm has to be operated on. However, this also several times. The operation itself went well ... However, the aftercare was also scary ......
The threads on the 12 cm long scar were also only pulled after they had already grown in. A real torture with a lot of pain ....... A doctor only looked briefly at the wound .....
Absolutely impossible ..... If you want or have to have an operation there, you should mark the corresponding part of the body yourself in advance so that there is no rude awakening after the operation ...
The UKB did not respond to a subsequent written complaint ........

After metal removal on 08/21/2020 in the right wrist. Education by anesthesia doctor was great. Afterwards on Ward D1 the nurses have partly missed their job. You get sloppy when you speak your mind. Had an operation on Friday, on Saturday a person in a white coat came and stopped in the door and didn't even say who she was. It just came: I just wanted to see if everything was okay. We said yes and she was gone. We thought she would come back, we're waiting for it today. Hygiene is underground, the table is wiped with a rag and then the toilet is cleaned. The thought that you are the last room on the ward makes you shudder. You don't need to be surprised if you get sick and catch any germs.
BIG praise to the Yellow Angels. The ladies are super nice and help wherever they can.

The ladies tried very hard and I got a tip for a good occupational therapist in my area. I'm supposed to do another 4 weeks of rehab. THANKS TO GOD, DON'T GO TO STATION D1. There are three ladies sitting in the reception at the D-doctor, not a single other patient standing in front of them, but they ignore me, standing badly on crutches because I was lying for three weeks - like air. They simply look away diligently, tap something, clear away notes. This is not a moment, but many minutes. I stand in front of A.K. She does not pay me any attention. When I make myself felt, it is said, I should have waited behind the "line of discretion", then I would call already. I feel reminded of the worst times of the GDR. Later at the doctor M.B. I am disciplined first, I should be friendly to the employees, the stress that they have. I would like to give zero stars, but that is not possible.
I was referred to the rescue center of the Unfallkrankenhaus Berlin twice with an ambulance. I had unbearable pain, symptoms of paralysis in my right leg. I have never experienced so much incompetence and rudeness as in the UKB rescue center. I have been working in the ambulance service for 30 years and believe I can form an opinion on how an ambulance station works and how to treat a patient.
Both times I was met by the same doctor, a trauma surgeon.
Wrong, my concern was neurosurgery. He did not take a reasonable anamnesis, he is not interested in my findings and MRI evaluations, which I brought with me as a precaution, but he saw me from the beginning as a hypochondriac who obviously travels from hospital to hospital to have an operation. I have no idea what's going on in his head. I gave him two suspected diagnoses that I made myself based on my many years of work in the rescue service. He couldn't do an emergency MRI, his question was: "Tell me what to do now?" He sent me home without any help and without any further diagnostics (only laboratory and pain drop that went "para" because it was not placed properly). Another hospital immediately admitted me to an MRI and diagnosed spinal stenosis and a herniated disc and scar tissue, which had severely compressed nerves, and operated on me. It is called the most modern hospital in Europe, but some doctors there should be overhauled.

After waiting a while in the emergency room (it doesn't go any faster in other hospitals), I immediately had an operation on my left hand and afterwards I was well cared for for 3 days on ward D1. Kudos to the team!

Rescue center visited for the second time. Despite persistent complaints, no result. My wife was released home in pain. Admission was still very friendly, the sister herself had a foot splint and walked with a crutch. After the shift change there was a rather arrogant and indifferent atmosphere. A patient asked for a glass of water. Was rejected because no diagnosis was made (I even understand) and was also plumbed because he hadn't said please. Besides my wife was an elderly gentleman who had called repeatedly for the nurse. Which the hearing also ignored but successful. My wife also writhed before stomach pain, probably caused by the pain reliever. Sister's answer: "After all, I can't do magic". All in all, wasted time and the knowledge that the patient is a disturbing factor.

Had to have emergency surgery. Almost everyone was nice to help calm my nerves. Good doctors, most of the nurses were nice. One specifically in the night shift was so sweet and caring! With the current load of patients - I had an overall good experience there. Thank you!!

Always bad ...... since opening. Especially in the rescue center and emergency room Pampige and very unfriendly doctors. Everything is downplayed ....... exaggerating as a patient. My son would be released even though he collapsed several times in the rescue center ... without words. Only after the threat he would be taken in and put on station. Next morning he was still lying in his broken blood ..... inhumane behavior.

I felt very comfortable there, everyone was super nice. The only negative was that I was operated 4 hours late. Although you are asked for your phone number 20 times if the appointment has passed. But I would go to this hospital again and again.

Despite a waiting time of 12 hours, I still think that they are the best doctors in the world ... thanks for the great wound treatment ... I am enthusiastic ... even if it means mega waiting times but you have the best doctors here ...

We were in the rescue center. The team radiates tranquility, even in stressful situations.

A great hospital! It already starts at the reception. The people there are very nice and helpful at all times. Even the doctors and nurses are absolutely nice and take time for their patients. The sisters always have an open ear for the problems of the patients and always remain friendly.

Our daughter had broken her arm at Roller Bladen. The doctors were very nice to her and overall the hospital is state of the art. Can we really recommend.

It is played so recklessly with a human being. At the end of my inpatient stay, I got a vein infection, clearly recognizable, I made the doctors aware of it and the pain was very strong, I was only smiled at and treated more like a junkie who only wants painkillers. So I went straight to my GP without treatment and he found that out. After 3/4 days of antibiotics my arm was as red as a tomato up to the axel and extremely swollen so I went back and they sent me away on the grounds that I was taking away useless space and should be patient, luckily and I said Fortunately, I knew that it was about my life and went to the army hospital. The statement was that it could have been that I would not have experienced the next day because I had blood poisoning and the inflammation had progressed so far that I had to get the antibiotics with an infusion.

Was there with my wife because of lack of air, she was checked and everything was fine, but then stamping that as psychological doesn't work at all, we were there twice in total because of the same thing and again and again you were sent home .... That is excluded My wife has a lung disease caused by smoking .... But I know there are psychological problems .... You already know that is failure to provide assistance .... For me it is clearly the worst sick house in Berlin

The facility is good and equipped with modern technology and tools but the people there are shameless, without respect and don't think outside the box we had a lot of problems there and the patient got worse over the time I really hope that they read that and work on the mentality and respect of the working staff there.

I went to the rescue center with seizures and severe headaches that radiated from my neck and were unbearable (from 1-10 it was ne 10 ache). I met at 12:39 p.m. and waited until 1:30 p.m. for the first time my blood pressure and temperature got measured. Then it was said to lie down on the stretcher, the doctor is about to come, 2 hours passed without anything happening. The question whether a man can have something against pain was not answered. When asked whether my brother can not keep me company, since we are both from the health care sector, it said no, that is not possible. It took until 3 p.m. a nurse came who took blood and put an access to it. Nothing happened until 6 p.m. when the internist came and only did a routine examination, listening to the heart, listening to the lungs. Then I finally got something for the pain. When asked if you can have a blanket because of the air conditioning, the response was briefly yes, but despite repeated reminders, I was never asked whether you could have something to drink or eat because you had been lying here for a while was not responded. At 8 p.m. I went to the nurse and asked when the neurologist was coming because I had been waiting here since noon. She said "That may still take a while, I still have a patient who's been waiting for the neurologist since 9 a.m." How long it was going to take or if there was still something to stop the pain, followed perplexed looks and silence. Then I said nothing should happen here, I'll be leaving in 1 hour so I can get treatment at home. At 9:10 p.m. I went against the doctor's advice because the neurologist was still not there and you didn't get proper treatment.

I write this review to those complaining about the emergency room.
The accident hospital is not called in vain accident hospital, it is about REAL emergencies and not a leg fracture or broken arm or other things that are considered normalized in the hospital.
There are daily people (patients) with life-threatening injuries.


Furthermore, the UKB is not a normal hospital but a clinic, which is a difference to the above-mentioned hospitals, where things such as an arm-leg-break or other injuries are treated, but over a longer period only life-threatening (without treatment of course ).
In the UKB, things like seizures, heart attacks, burn victims or accident victims are treated with serious injuries. The clinic specializes in hardship cases.

Employee:
The staff at the Accident Hospital are friendly, accommodating and specialists in their area. They know what to do and help wherever they can.

Conclusion:
The accident hospital (accident clinic) is a place for serious injuries.
Things like arm and leg fractures can also be treated in other hospitals.
Being admitted because of small things I see as a waste of space against emergency patients!

As an adult you should know something theoretically ...

Last week I was admitted in the morning with severe pain. While I was taken care of fairly quickly, they also looked after my son, whom I had to take with me. I can't say anything negative about the emergency room. The team present was very friendly, helpful and extremely competent.
A big thank you to the lovely nurse who went to the canteen with my son while I was already being pushed towards the operating room.
The op team was also very nice and patient.
Also a big thank you to the sisters of station D3. I felt in good hands there and looked after.
In general, you should appreciate the work of the staff. Everyone does their best to make you feel better yourself. I am very grateful for that.

I had to be in the accident hospital for a quarter of a year (unfortunately) in 2016 from April 12th, 2016 to June 10th, 2016 I can't complain at all ..... I was lying on the C0 and honestly, doctors, nurses, housekeeping women super super nice and it is really helped ..... For me, the cleanest clinic that I have had in my career since 2013 ..... Super clean and where there should be improvement, is the food (lunch) ..... But otherwise I was very satisfied ..... Keep it up !!!!

If other employees in the private sector were to work in this way, they would certainly have to be laid off. It is a committed community where no one unhooks the other. I was admitted to the ukb because of a serious bicycle accident and my spine was broken. the doctors are super competent and take their time and are friendly and friendly. so are the sisters. the hospital itself is super nice. didn t even know that it works. satisfied all around. The circumstances in the emergency room are terrible. You sit forever and nothing happens. If a member of the family finally comes in after almost two hours, you will neither learn anything nor you can get in with them. It should be clear to the doctors and nurses that you are worried and you do not come there out of boredom. I had an operation on my nose and I was really satisfied with the doctor who did the operation. Very polite, nice and humorous :) The sisters who looked after me were also super nice. The whole team from the ENT department were super nice, thank you !!!

The only thing I can complain about is that I wasn't given a blanket in the recovery room after the operation. It wasn't until about an hour after the operation and after my husband had to ask several times that I was given a blanket. That was already too late, because I got sick (runny nose) -.-

I was in the Ukbs rescue center today due to a bad earache. First I was already treated by my family doctor. Unfortunately, this was unsuccessful due to my massive auditory canal infection. It is a rescue center and there you have to wait in wait. I was treated very nicely and the consultation with the doctor was very honest, competent and empathetic. The doctor gave me the pain of my life, but it also helped me a lot and thus reduced my suffering. I am very grateful to Mrs. Lauer and give her 5 stars. And again, it is a rescue center and should not be just before Abnippeln, you should wait for wait! By the way, the waiting room was well air-conditioned at 33 degrees. Thanks for the work that is done there!

I am receiving medical treatment in cardiology and I have only had absolutely positive experiences.
Long waiting times are the order of the day, but I am happy to accept them knowing that I will be treated by an experienced and very friendly team of doctors.

Came to the rescue center with my mother after a fall. Doctors and staff were very nice and tried hard, despite the large number of people. Quick, correct diagnosis, quick surgery appointment. Surgically just perfect work (new hip joint in an 86 year old lady !!). Intensive care unit great. Unfortunately, the internal medicine ward leaves a lot to be desired, but it is also called an accident hospital.

I was admitted as an inpatient to C3 via the rescue center and felt that I was in good hands from the start.

Was very happy with my OP (nose) there. Everyone worked hand in hand.

Recently worked in the hospital rehabilitation department. Unfriendly and incompetent, especially the chief doctor of the department. Should hear himself talking. Once and never again!

I can not hear the gripe because of waiting time. I was brought back to life, was a total of 8 weeks (4 weeks Intensive H2b with coma and heart-lung machine, then D2) there stationary, after a road sweeper had rolled over me as a cyclist. Findings: A chestnut-sized tumor in the elbow area of the ulnar nerve, which was so severely divided that a difference between tumor tissue and nerve cords was hardly definable.
After intensive preliminary investigations, it became clear that a safe preparation of the tumor seemed to be impossible.

On the basis of my subject-related half-knowledge, it is clear to me that this is an extraordinary achievement for which I can hardly adequately thank.

The sisters were super nice and really took time for one.

This is one of the modern accidents clinics in Berlin, they work on severe cases of injuries of various profiles, strokes. Very strong neurology, a unique rehabilitation system after TBI and strokes, Dr. Ingo Shmel chief, also orthopedics, where we underwent surgery to remove calcifications on the arm after TBI. Dr. Casper - golden hands !!!! Thank you garden and deep bow !!! The anesthesiologists also work great: after a three-hour operation, they were already conscious in half an hour, and after a couple of hours they went. This is the highest degree of professionalism !!! Of the minuses: for foreigners, the stay in the clinic is possible only in the so-called comfortable department, where a bed costs 199 per day and the same for an accompanying person. This, of course, significantly increases the cost of treatment. It is also important to be able to invite a translator from German. Geographically, the region is Marzan.

I have been operated on several times here. One of the surgeries was on the neck spine, it was about wheelchair or not, was successfully performed in neurosurgery. It is a very clean hospital and the staff were always friendly. I am grateful today and recommend it again and again. Thank you the doctors.

my case ... was brought in with ambulance ... with a large cut on the lower lip (half of the lower lip hung down) ... when I arrived at the emergency room I was taken to the waiting area ... there I spent over 1 hour. ... the bandages from the ambulance were already there after 10 minutes. druch wet and so I bled the waiting area ... after about 45 minutes. a nurse came into the waiting area and called another patient ... she saw my pool of blood and just said, great and I can take it away again ... do you have to accept something like that ...?

From the diagnostics, over operating room, ward, care, until the release completely satisfied. Friendly and competent doctors and sisters with charming Berlin style. Very clean, hygienic and friendly to visitors. I had 3 OPs there, was on two different stations and there was really nothing to complain about. Even on the hot days of the year it was well tolerable. Thanks for all the employees of the UKB! Stay like you are. Thick praise also to the diligent gardeners and caretakers, who cultivate the plants, the lawn and the entire park around the UKB in every season with genuine devotion.

I am a nurse myself and do not understand the fact that sometimes old people are treated very underground. The fact that it is not possible to put water in for a longer period of time (so I get my water myself, not an older lady after a fall) or to wish a "good day" at all, I find creepy and it disappoints me - time or not forth. What I had to hear through these curtains yesterday did not sound like care. In the future I will avoid going to this house or this rescue center. I am really not spoiled, but I am also a customer, my body is the object with which money is made and as long as I can choose, I will choose differently ...

My father was sent home with grotty blood, because he has an appointment for a bone marrow soon anyway. I hope the doctors are aware of what they do and know there. That every other day in a possible leukemia can aggravate the condition! Finally, he was also due to complaints about the altered blood levels a night on the ward.

Unfortunately very poor diagnosis of dizziness. Was there because of prolonged vertigo. Was presented to the ENT for 2 seconds, who did a test. That's it Then 3 days of neurological examinations and then the dizziness was blamed on the psyche. The vestibular neuritis was not recognized, although I specifically asked for it and even asked about the test, but it just wasn't done.

Child had school accident, child was treated and that was correct. The waiting time was also good with 3 hours, after all, it is a rescue center where seriously injured are brought and they have now priority.

Praise for the station C1
At the end of April we came to the emergency room after a garden accident (2 hours, but kindly cared for, certainly because the patient was a three-year-old girl) and my daughter had to be operated on by hand. After that, we landed "alien to the industry" at the C1. Thus, we have the direct comparison of the ENT stations Vivantes Friedrichshain and UKB. The former was a disaster, in the UKB, we felt at the nice, worried and cheerful sisters and carers well. Only the care of the hand surgeons / physicians was a little bit with regard to tips / hints in the further handling of a now missing finger tip - probably because it is for them the smallest "evil" in their field. Thanks to the sisters and carers - great job!

I felt well looked after by the doctors and nurses in the emergency department, despite the stress that prevails there, and on the accident surgery ward. Thanks a lot !

I had to go to UKB on 9.6.19 because ik could not hear anything in my ear anymore. After just an hour's wait, I was called by a friendly doctor Mrs. Vierkant and treated. She realized that it was just a blockage and solved it. The doctor was super nice and I thank you again personally. And wish you all the best.

After commuting accident, 5 days investigating the "residual damage" by BG causes. Station D2.
The longed-for help with a painful, clearly visible CPRS syndrome and a HWS damage, however, remained. Instead, a very grossly up-front doctor, who gave a subtle to understand that he does not think it all that bad, one !!! Physiotherapy session, which is said to have brought "CLEAR IMPROVEMENT" (2.5 years in Physio, of course, could not do what this application should have obtained) GROTESKT! Disrespectful treatment of this station doctor that left me speechless ... and will have consequences.
The sisters mostly very friendly and helpful.
Lunch quite good. Breakfast and dinner not before.
Room well equipped. Bathroom with walk-in shower in the room.
The Caffeteria is great.
The stay was shortened spontaneously to 3 days.
The organization relatively well.
I think, anyone who is admitted after an accident gets a professional treatment.
I, the desired assistance in retrospect, was branded as "cured" and simulant.

They turned me upside down and finally found something, others haven't done in years. Thank you!

Yesterday (10/30/17) we had lunch in the restaurant. Farmersbreakfast. My wife's was still liquid inside and the ham was missing in mine. There were pickled cucumbers in it. It was by far the worst farmer's breakfast I've ever eaten. The waitress already knew why she didn't ask us what we liked. Only hunger drove it in. A lovelessly clapped meal.

I was flown in with a fire, the team looked after me immediately and conscientiously.
The room was ready for my stay.
A super doctors team and the nursing staff on D1 Friendly and nice.
I can only recommend it to everyone.

Unfortunately, I have been a patient here many times, so I can also evaluate different stations, the rescue center, the different areas of physiotherapy (inpatient and outpatient).
No matter where, I have only met friendly and competent staff. (Special thanks to station D2)
I can't understand the grumbling about the long waiting time in the rescue center, or the postponement of planned operations. It is an ACCIDENT HOSPITAL. There is not the first to get there who was there first, but it is treated according to urgency, and that's a good thing !!!
The sports room is well equipped, the therapists pay attention to proper training, the swimming pool is equipped with a lift for wheelchair users and shower wheelchairs, is well heated and big enough.
The physiotherapists are all great and do a great job.
Only the constant change of doctors with the transit doctor is not so great. But that's the way it is.

I was treated in this hospital (split my elbow). Then I had rehabilitation. Super doctors, nurses and rehabilitants, competent and empathic for patients. Just cosmos compared to the Polish health service. If you treat yourself only here. I highly recommend and thank all staff.
