Awesome Pizza! I walked into the shop at 1:40 AM after checking into the Roosevelt Hotel. I ordered a large pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms. The man that took my order went over to the pizza dough and started to make my pizza from scratch! What a show! I walked out of Uncle Paul's a little before 2:00 AM with a hot pizza and cold drinks for the family. The crust was amazing and the toppings were fresh and tasty. We ended up going back to Uncle Paul's three more times during our 5 day visit. Great place, great staff, and great service!

Placed a phone order and let them know I was staying at the Roosevelt Hotel. They requested for me to pick it up instead of delivery (which is fine). However, they did not apply the discount they are offering to Roosevelt Hotel guests. So for $47.00, the food was not worth it (pizza was very greasy).

Absolutely horribly service! Couldn't deliver the food to me and my fiancee a half a mile away, first time to the city so we left our vehicle at a train station. .6 miles away and they refused to deliver. Wouldn't reccomend to my worst enemy.

This place knows how to please their clients. Constantly with a very welcoming mindset. The food is reasonably priced, always tasty and clean.

Went in at 10:30pm, very small line and the pizza was fast but also delicious. Would definitely recommend to everyone!

Beware the bait and switch! They advertise a full pizza for $20 but when you order one they charge you by the slice which works out to $34.

Pizza is not the best. the reason I give 1 is because I notice that the ceiling ventilation are dirty n the pizza are underneath dust could fall off on the pizza health hazard

I ordered food and was told I couldn't sit down to eat, and my food didnt taste very good.

Really great place, people and most important really good food.

I lost my bag there the other night, manager was kind enough to track me down and let me know they had it. When I went to pick up my bag I also ordered a few slices to go since the pizza is really good there too! Love this place.

A hidden gem. Pizza was the perfect balance between thin crust, cheese and toppings. Top it off with a beer and you've got the perfect meal. My new go-to place for pizza in mid-town.

pizza just ok. my wife ordered gluten free pizza, they charged $15 + $2.00 for extra item...meanwhile, she doesn't even put cheese on it...AWFUL! Tasted like styrofoam....DONT ORDER. staff friendly, but food NOT

I love the buffalo chicken pizza but am not a fan of all of their offerings. My wife likes the lasagna pizza, I think it's just okay. The people that work there are always great. I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Pretty good pizza, really cool space. The waiter and host were both pretty nice. I'd love to come back but not many GF options for my husband.

Great thin-sliced pizza near the Roosevelt Hotel! Several options by the slice--we loved the lasagna pizza and the spinach-ricotta pizza. The gluten free pizza was tasty too, but not sure if there would be cross contamination. Quaint atmosphere.

I truly love this place. If you're from New York, then you can appreciate such an amazing quality of service and food packed into a quaint storefront. Now, if you're not from NYC or a large city, than you may find the restaurant overwhelming. But the food is worth the long lines and rushed service. They're making about 30 slices per minute or two, so you don't have much time to think about what you want. I find everyone there to be nice and helpful, but the entire staff is extremely busy. Normal for New York, but if you're from out-of-town, don't let that sway your opinion. Uncle Paul's is busy for a reason.

Hands down the best New York thin crust pizza I've ever had. Caprese was delicious!

Best Margareta Slices in the City. Best of all, open 24/7! Big menu if you want more than pizza. All this does come at a price; but what do you expect in the heart of the City? - Even on a strict diet it's hard to resist this place.

Way overpriced, yet mediocre pizza. Nearly $5 a slice, the plain cheese was very greasy and didn't stay crisp as a result. With so many options, this doesn't make sense. I only tried cuz it was near my office but it's intended (I believe) to trap tourists.

The service was poor. Ordered pepperoni, they didn't have slices made so they just threw pepperoni on top of cheese slices and warmed it. It was absolutely disgusting and for that I give them a single star. My husband ordered water and instead of giving him tap they charged him for a bottle of water which wasn't needed. I didn't like them!

Stepped in by chance and was amazed with the pizza here that I couldn't help but ask for pizzaman' name.

Visiting from Vegas , and yes the pizza was awesome. My family and i really enjoyed the place a bit small but cozy. When in town would return to Uncle Pauls

Good place to order a few pizza slices or a whole pizza. The canoli although they are small were very good. The quality price relation is very good!

This was one of the few pizza places open on Christmas Day, and the best pizza we had while in NYC! Got slices to go since the wait was long for a table. Would recommend!!

Siting here now, it s terrible(( service in the restaurant is rude. That place is not so poor to have a normal tea cap, normal plate and a normal knife with fork, not plastic! In other tables are normal dishes and flatware. I don t know why such a different attitude(( slice of pizza was good!

A gem in the rough. Food was very good. Had the chipotle chicken and it was great. Crust was perfect, thin and crunchy. Staff is attentive and very nice. Limited drink options, but a good selection. Atmosphere changes with clientele but is up beat and jovial. Tv in dining area draws a good bit of attention especially late at night.

If in the area, it's worth stopping by. Delivery, pickup or togo are available as well.

Honestly probably the best pizza we have had in years. If not ever. Staff were really welcoming and brilliant service. Would be a regular visit if we lived in New York.

Great tasting pizza, small slices. Tacky 4% up-charge on credit cards, with no mention of that.

The ambiance is confused, they don't seem to know what they are. It's this ugly marble mixed with random tables and Italian food....Although I don't go for the atmosphere, the pizza is great. The Grandma is the go-to!

The food is good is ok, not excellent just ok, but my complaint has nothing to do with the food its mostly the employees that are in front of the house who need to be replaced or trained to act in a professional manner. You see the cashiers playing around and the waiters attitude is just a no for me. They don t really care to smile or clean the tables. Everyone is on their phone and in order to get their assistance you have to make them notice you. They don t really go check on their tables and if they make a mistake in an order they don t take the time to apologize this has happened numerous times when my coworkers have ordered food for delivery or to dine in.

I thought this place was alright. The service is what really made my experience not very enjoyable. The server had some serious attitude. She made us feel pressured to order things we didn't want. The food came out pretty fast. The pepperoni pizza was great but the other slice (I forget what it was called. It had chicken and bacon on it) tasted a little old, like it was sitting under a heat lamp for too long. Then it took a while for a bill and to pay. Just not a very pleasant experience. I will not go back there.

Cosy and friendly. Excellent staff and catered for our kids. Great food. Been there a few times and has always been happy warm people inside. If I lived there I'd want to know Uncle Paul.

I am pretty sure they brought me a wrong pizza but I was okay with it. Turned out to be really good pizza. My favorite however is definitely the bruschetta appetizer. 100% recommend you order it with your pizza!

Perfect little pizza shop! Proper New York slice in a family run shop. Recommended by our hotel and did not disappoint!

It is a restaurant located on the same block as the Roosevelt hotel, the restaurant seems to be very small and not very good but in reality it is a very friendly, cozy restaurant and the food is excellent, it has a diverse varied menu of pizzas, pastas and wines and prices They are very comfortable, I would go again without thinking twice !!
