It's not just the pizza, but the service. Not to sure why he is, but he must be an owner. Hes so invested in your happiness that even if the food is O good, he makes it for it. They offer anything you could think of as far as pizzas and other pizza place items. Not to mention gelato. Great place. Open 24 hours too. Love it!!

Had to wait 40 mins for a small pepperoni pizza. We were one of two tables when we walked in. Waitress gave our pizza to another table and when we told her, she didn t even apologize. Pizza not that great. Wouldn t go back.

Was looking for a NY style pizza but it wasn't what I remember as a NY pizza but still very good. It is like your looking for a fresh bake ginger cookie and end up with fresh bake chocolate chips cookie. Nothing wrong with Paul's pizza and service very nice.

The staff is very friendly here. I've been here five or six times. With just my husband or with a small group of teenagers. They are very accommodating. The food is great. Pastas and pizza and chicken wings are very reasonably priced. Steak was $32 which is New York City pricing. Excellent desserts. Only have drinks that are bottled- soda, water, beer and glasses of wine.

It was indeed delicious and satisfying pizza. I like pepperoni and the cheese pizza that they had. It was indeed mouthwatering. The place was so neat and clean. The staff was attentive in taking orders. This pizza was indeed impressive. The best eating place! I really like the pizza that they served. I will surely visit this place again.

All I was corrected by my wife Uncle Paul's was OUTSTANDING! I'm from San Diego and got the restaurants mixed up! The bad restaurant was Eataly near the 911 memorial. Uncle Paul I apologize your food was a real Treat.

Get some New York pizza! I'm not a New Yorker. We was there for our anniversary. I do know good food and decent service. I was very happy with the dining experience there. My wife was impressed that the menu was on a tablet. I was impressed by the quality of the pizza. It was tasty! We had Gelato for desert. Much happiness! A place to revisit.

It was wonderful! My daughter and I ate there several times on a trip to NYC. Every time I go back I try to stop in. I am 1400 miles away and wishing I could pop around the corner and grab some lunch!

Great food. Pizza is the best in the city. Spaghetti and meatballs were amazing. The waiters were very friendly. When we had take out (a couplebof times) the cashier was not as friendly, she needs to.learn to smile and say thank you. But the food makes it all worth it.

Stopped in for a quick bite for lunch. They get pretty busy around lunch time and there inside is a little small. There is a good selection of specialty slices and entrees. I decided to so with the standard plain slice and a grandma. The guy working the oven were very pleasant and they were joking with each other and it added to the character of the place. The pizza was very good and the prices are reasonable for Manhattan.

Small, tight quarters dining room, just one unisex bathroom. Very friendly and attentive staff, fast service, and very delicious food. Good prices, well worth the wait. This place is always packed and once you try it, you ll learn why. Authentic New York style pizza at its natural best. Fresh desserts. Don t go for its atmosphere, go for the flavor.

this place has a confusing vibe, it looks fancy like a formal sit down restaurant but they have pizza by the slice and only have canned/bottle beverages. So it's stocked and ran like a fast take out/window type place. It does have a very extensive menu with WAY more than just pizza, the food was very good, the service not so much. One of the waitresses ignored me to my face when I asked her over for something, she looked right at me but right through me. I'll still give 4 start because the food was very good. Even locals and cops go there for slices and carry out

Great food and good service. We stayed at nearby hotel for high school music festival and appreciated 24 hour service. Kids and adults loved uncle Paul's for good food, good service, and good prices. They took phone orders from the kids and the adults appreciated good service late at night (after kids were in hotel). Ya'll rocked!! Kids passed around uncle paul pictures from take out on the ride home. Great experience during our NYC trip. Thanks!!!

Stopped here for a quick bite. Had two slices: buffalo chicken and lasagna. The chicken one was ok, nothing special compared to others i had around. The lasagna I actually didn't finish. It was too much ricotta cheese and didn't feel good. There wasn't sauce on all the slice, just in bit, and there was barely any meat on that. The crust was soft and good on both. Interior is actually very nice and cozy here.

I don't usually write a review. 5 of us walked in to take a pizza for a train ride and were in a rush. 1am and we said we would just buy a pie from the one's sitting.. Man said you need to pay per slice for whole pie. I questioned why and he said "we here to make money". He looked at us and saw $$$ . when I questioned it he got nasty and told me to "watch my mouth". I don't expect a inexpensive pizza at 1 am on Saturday.. But getting taking advantage of and treated like garbage is not cool..

Terrible attention Fatty pizzas of poor quality. Local boy, dirty and uncomfortable. And very dark. Do not waste your money. There are better pizzerias that sell you their exquisite and huge portions for 1 u $ s each. The worst of Manhattan.

First choice walking out of Grand Central... The breakfast pizza is great. Tried the caprese, with extra mushrooms, which is also good . Friendly service, and plenty of seating.

Highly recommended!

We visited Uncle Paul's Pizza while on a visit to NYC twice. I have the Caprese salad and the sicilian pizza. It was great both times. The service was very good and friendly. It did not take long to get our food back at all.
